We love it, great service for local channels and easy to install

We installed this antenna in the attic and the TV found 90+ digital TV broadcast stations, about 65+ have good signals . The indoor antenna we had before this one could only get half the digital stations. We did have problems originally where some stations would drop out or disappear, we found that the LED on the amplifier would be off, so jiggling the power connector would return power to the amplifier. Home Antenna replaced the amplifier and now there are no drop outs.

Sometimes freezes up and pixel problem with picture but not often enough for me to be unhappy with the product. I am thinking of adding a booster because I got one just like it for my son and he gets better picture and 10 more channels than I do and he's in a much more wooded area. Recommended the antenna to several people already.

This antenna is a joke.

1) Size. The antenna itself, round dome, is no more than 10” across. In antennas, especially Omni-directional, size is everything.

2) Reception. I installed on a home in a Houston suburb on a wave mount w/ 10’ pole, 10.5 miles from 5 2200’ tall broadcast towers. First run I got 114 channels, then it clouded up and reception dropped to 33channels, and when the rain arrived it was down to 7. The indoor flat plastic HDTV Walmart antenna mounted on the back of the TV does a better job w/ reception. By the way, there is no marking on the antenna to ‘Front’ or as a lead point to tune the antenna w/ a starting point.

3) Mounting. Anyone seen a standard 1” mounting pole? Well, you’ll get one w/ this kit. Ridiculously small and not close to any normal antenna mounting pole size. This means something, as the only way this antenna mounts is by slipping over the crappy 1” pole they include.

4) Quality. I’ll be shocked if the whole thing lasts one year. Plastic and wing nuts hold it together. The super-cheap in line amplifier failed in 1 day.

5) Price. My point to this review is that this install was in the best of signal environments and it still struggles and fails. Durability is questionable. Price point is outrageous for the value. This antenna takes some money to get it to work. You get into the install and realize to modify it to work you’re past the point of returning.

6) The Fix. At least in this situation I was able to add a different high quality antenna signal booster to the project and get it working much better. Doesn’t change my opinion of buying this POS antenna, but if you already have - I suggest you get a quality Wineguard or ChannelMaster signal booster and you can boost and stabilize the signal propagation better. You also need more than a 18” 1” pole to get the antenna above ground clutter and descent line of site for the signal.

I was looking for local channels. Got all the ones I wanted but one. Couldn't get NBC so I have to look for a better antenna but it might work where you live. Easy set-up, nothing complicated. A 2 yr old could do it.

This picks up more stations just 10 feet above the ground than our old antenna did 30 feet in the air. Oddly, though, it found far fewer stations when installed in the same location as our old antenna. Additionally, it is not truly omnidirectional; the instructions specifically tell you to aim a particular side in the direction of the local broadcast tower. Furthermore, it tends to lose signals over the course of the day, so that some stations which were coming in perfectly in the morning can become unwatchable later. The addition of a motor to adjust its position when signal loss occurs would improve my rating.

We dropped cable and needed to add an antenna. I found this on Amazon and gave it a try. I installed it in my attack and attached to my existing cable line running through the house. I have 72 channels using the antenna and I get signal everywhere we have a cable jack in the wall. We currently have 4 televisions hooked to it with no issues at all. It was a great choice to drop cable to use streaming services and the antenna for all other channels. Easy to use no complaints. We have been using it for 4 weeks already.

This purchase was to replace a pretty good and almost 2.5 times price antenna, damaged in a storm.

I bought the mast kit.

All the hardware for any mount surface was included. Masonry or wood. Everything was there! Ikea, take note.

Assembly took 5, toolless, minutes. Only had to break out the drill for the lag bolt mounting option and the caulking gun.

Coax time. I was disappointed the included cable wasn't coiled. Folding it causes weak spots and potential failure areas. I didn't use it, have my own already.

All hooked up, a channel scan done and yay! It didn't do any worse nor better than the old one that did require tools to assemble but at less than half the price...I don't need anything pulling signals beyond the Golden Horseshoe.

Verdict? Winner.

Installed this antenna in my attic, well attached garage attic. I'm getting 13 channels in clear HD in the east end of Ottawa. It is going to feed a Silicondust HDHomerun Quatro to feed my Plex server with a lifetime Plex Pass and make it record and stream shows so that I can cast them to my TVs.

I installed the antenna on a 30 ft mast, only able to receive 3 stations. The picture quality is excellent but only 3 stations for reception is unacceptable.
