I ordered this replacement lock because the ad said it worked in most situations and it did. In fact, it slipped in perfectly. Everything lined up and it took about 10 minutes to finish the job. I did need a second set of hands to hold the outer part in while I set the screws in place. The lock is well made and very sturdy. There weren't any instructions in the box, but none were needed. Extremely pleased with this purchase. All four keys work in either lock.

This is a more robust latch than the factory latch. The Black 2.0 has a nice higher profile for grabbing. The whole description and photos show 4 keys. There are only 2 Keys which is stated in the Title! They cannot be duplicated. I'm happy with it and would buy it again. Easy Peazy install. This latch has a door latch and deadbolt. It's nice knowing my key is unique.

Very easy to install! The quality feels great, the lock is very fitting and I had no issues with fitting. The lock is very easy to lock and unlock, without causing any worry for safety! It functions great and is easy to unlock from the outside at well! Keys work great. Not too thick or any issues with sizing. I seen some people saying that they were getting locked inside and outside of their RV, but my lock has been working perfectly and as long as you’re not trying to fit it when it doesn’t fit, you should not have any issues with locking and unlocking.

This is a great product, instillation is straight forward and the unit comes with four keys. I purchased a second lockset after I locked myself out of the trailer. I now have a hidden key. Apparently, when unlocking the trailer the top lock for the handle was locked before the key was removed. With the handle locked you can exit the trailer. Probably a safety feature. To gain access I had to break the lock. Breaking the lock was easy using a pry bar under the handle. The metal in the handle lock is soft metal and was easily to break. Needless to say I destroyed the handle lock. Still, I liked the lock set enough that I purchased a second one. When leaving the trailer both locks are set to ensure the trailer is secure.

Fairly easy to install. Seems to be high quality. Better than OEM type lock. Easy latching and smooth operation. Only problem was could not get on web site to activate warranty. Kept getting kicked out. Will have to call company.

I was hesitant to spend the extra money on Latch.IT since the competitors looked similar for a much better price. Latch.IT is profoundly more substantial than the original RV lock it replaced. The superior materials make it heavier even to the touch. The included hardware didn't bottom out allowing for a snug fit.

Bought to replace the manufactures door lock on my 2026 Grand Design AIM, that is keyed to every other travel trailer made. Perfect fit and the lock and keys are far superior to the OEM… great buy! Oh and because they’re keyed alike to the baggage doors, I’m replacing those with much better round key locks.

Our Nov 2020 Outback locked us out one morning as we were preparing to move to our next project. I simply could not unlock the deadbolt and I had to drill the tumbler out. It was such a nice surprise to receive this 4 days before the earliest promised delivery date.

The lockset installed very easily, and is definitely nicer quality. Appearance-wise it looks pretty much the same, but not only does the door shut with less force, it no longer pops open against the locked deadbolt when you pull on the latch to test the door after locking the top lock. This was an issue on both of our RV's (2018 Starcraft and 2020 Keystone Outback.) Very pleased and very happy with this vendor. I've never received a delivery from a US vendor to Canada this fast!

My only concern is the key codes appear right on the exterior lock panel. This needs to be changed. RV thefts are up very significantly, and as the 'real' economy continues to be threatened thieves will find a way to get keys cut. Easily visible key codes are an invitation.
