The propane detector monitor that came with my 2021 grand design camper trailer says replace after 60 months, at 60 months and 2 weeks it started beeping. Time to replace. I bought this white one instead of the black like was original just because, it is the exact size, fits on the existing bracket (it does come with a bracket but I didn't want to take screws out. I used butt connectors to connect this unit to the existing wires after I SHUT OFF ALL POWER EVEN THE BATTERY DISCONNECT ALWAYS SHUT OFF ALL POWER BEFORE DOING ELECTRICAL WORK and easily crimped it in and voila, good for another 60 months. Easy to replace, easy to keep myself alerted to propane leaks.

Easy to remove old and install new IF the original was installed WITH ENOUGH SLACK in the Wiring to remove abd replace. This Safe-T- alert propane alarm is the EXACT brand and model currently up for replacement in my 2013 travel trailer. I trust the Safe - T - Alert brand.

Anyone who owns an RV knows that they are for the most part propane powered. This monitor replace the faulty one in our RV. It was an easy 5 minute install. Looks better than the ugly brown OEM one and my wife especially feels much safer not hearing the old one go off because it was faulty. Functions great and provides safety.

This fit the wall mount I had perfectly. I was hoping to get a black one, but the white was available. So glad I could find the same alarm that came in my camper when I purchased it.

Fast delivery, The build date was within a month of the install. The hardest part of the install was fabricating a patch over the hole left by the replaced unit. Once installed it pasted the sniff test--I used a Butane camp stove canister as the nozzle protrudes and is easily accessible. Word of caution, wear ear protectors when you test as you are very close to the unit and the noise is very high pitched. The unit did not come with screws--don't know if that was in error or not. If not you will need 4 number-4 X 1/4" flat or round head screws and the necessary wire connectors to join the new unit to the existing wires.

It replaced the same unit in less than 5 minutes. Easy installation as I simply pulled off out of date unit and replaced new one.

I think the price was high but you can’t stay in an RV without a functional monitor in place.

Very easy to install and works as it should. This unit it to be replaced every 5 years. My only disappointment with the unit is it's old stock. I opened the package to install it to keep the family safe I installed it. The date is from 2018. It is now 2020. I already lost 2 years on this unit. I wrote the installed date hoping that it lasts more than the 3 years left
