This is an awesome mattress and much better than the factory one. This feels more like our bedroom memory foam mattress and it’s very comfortable. Not too firm, not too soft. No weird odors either. I was worried it would be too thick or not the correct size, but it fits perfectly. Still room for bedding without hitting the front window.

My husband and I both have bad backs. Our problems are not the same and we both like this mattress. I'm not going to exaggerate and say it's like sleeping on a cloud or all of our problems while sleeping are gone! They aren't gone for me. My arms still hurt and then my fingers get numb and tingly or my hips will still ache causing pain all the way to my knees and sometimes ankles. I will say that I don't have to drag myself out of bed anymore. My lower back is not crippling me after being in bed all night. The bed is just firm enough to keep you from sinking into it. For me the mattresses you sink into are awesome when you first get in, but then I can barely turn over and my lower back feels like it is swayed when I'm on my stomach. OUCH! This mattress isn't too firm though. I don't feel like I'm sleeping on a covered rock.

I noticed in some reviews people thought the mattress had a smell at first. My husband unpacked the mattress as soon as we got it. I was thinking, "My queen size mattress is in THAT box?" I knew how they were shipped, but seeing it in that box was crazy! He got it out and opened it up, so it could puff back up, and left it for a few hours before looking at it again. It didn't take much time for it to reach it's full thickness. We slept on it that night with no smell of any kind whatsoever.

We both are satisfied with our purchase. We never expected it to take away all of our back problems. It's a mattress, not a miracle. Our expectations were met and we sleep as comfortable as possible considering.

My advice to you is not to think any memory foam mattress will solve all of your sleep issues. I am totally happy that it made my night, and then my morning, more comfortable than I've been in years. I still have some problems, but they have been lessened by sleeping on a great memory foam mattress. Would I suggest this brand of memory foam mattress to family and friends? Absolutely. The price is comparable, or better, than other brands and it came within a few days of ordering. It's been a month now and we have no complaints.

If you are looking for a great memory foam mattress, and don't want to use all of your savings to purchase it, then this is THE ONE! Good service, good quality, good price, good night's sleep. What more could you ask for?

What a great mattress!! Of course, anything would be better than what came with the new RV, but this mattress exceeds all expectations! It very quickly inflated to about full thickness in an hour and by the next day when I checked it, it was perfect. No odd odor, great support in any position, and fits perfectly on the frame. It’s both firm and soft at the same time, if that makes any sense. No sinking - just cloud like comfort! We can hardly wait for our next camping trip! Well worth the money!!

The mattress fit our RV short queen area just fine. It might be a hair wider and longer than the original mattress that was in the camper when purchased new but it still fit. Very firm and quite comfortable. I am happy with this purchase.

I ordered this be the thin so called mattress that came with my rv was very uncomfortable since it formed dents to my body. Hips were hurting. I got this and put on top of the original one and it’s a lil thick but it feels so comfortable I don’t want to get out of bed. I done a lot of research before buying and read the reviews and I believe I made the perfect choice! I didn’t notice any smell at all. The quality is great and i definitely think it’s worth the price and heck yea I recommend anyone to purchase.

First off, I did a LOT of homework before ordering this mattress. I read tons of reviews and as many independent reviews as I could find. A couple of conclusions lead me in this direction. 1. Trying out a bed in a store as apposed to buying on line did not lead to a higher satisfaction rate. 2. Spending a lot of money on a mattress also did not appear to increase satisfaction.

So my starting point... I have a lovely antique butterprint bed that is 3/4 sized that I wanted to keep. I had been sleeping on a (very old) mattress on top of a (very older) box spring with a one inch memory foam topper. I was reasonably comfortable curled up in my divit that had formed; I like a soft bed and this fit that bill along with significant amount of hammocking; then came the boyfriend. While he never complained about the bed, when I mentioned I had intended to replace it for years the truth that my mattress bothered his back and the amount of hammocking was extreme for him was a tipping point. Then came the flurry of activity. Research and shopping for me and removing the old box spring and creating a platform bed out of my antique bed for him.

He likes a very firm bed and I a soft bed. (My hips don't like pressure points!) I decided to shoot for a mattress firmer than what I thought would be comfortable for me and add toppers as needed. I could always make it softer, but never make it firmer. My research led me to several beds in the $600 to $800 range that sounded like good bets. But then there is the 3/4 size antique bed that is only 75 inches long. Zinus sells a short queen! I bit the bullet and hit the order button.

We are both very comfortable! I did keep my one inch topper that seems to work for both of us. In fact we find it as comfortable as the $2000 mattress at his house! It is a lovely balance between enough "mush" for my hips and firmness for his back. In fact I am liking the firmness under the "mush" more than I would have thought. I have gotten better quality sleep than I have for years and hey, sleep is a great thing!

So far, the mattress is a keeper and so is the boyfriend!

This is a very comfortable mattress. The short queen mattress we purchased is a great width but you might find it a little short if you are over 6 feet tall. We use this in our RV trailer and slept very well. Just one caution … this mattress turns rock hard when cold so if you are driving from a cold climate to somewhere warm, you might need to turn your RV furnace on a while before you sleep in at the first night. 😀

Was skeptical but after reading the all reviews good/bad I waited for the price to drop and purchased the unit. Mattress arrived early, nice, and was well packaged. Opened the unit and placed it in the trailer it fit perfectly. Could see it start to expand immediately. No odors at all which was a very pleasant surprise. After 24 hours was 8 inch and one corner was only 6 inches. Punched the corner a bunch of times and sat on it to compress it a couple of times. After 48 hours was fully expanded to 10 inches all the way around, could not tell which corner had the issue, bonus! Never slept on a foam bed so expected to take a couple of nights to get used to it. Sitting on the edge to take socks off mattress really compressed and I though oh no what have I done, bounced right back once I stood up. After sleeping on it for 4 weeks, took it into the house to test, here are my thoughts. Like any memory foam product it does form to the body within a couple of minutes of lying down so if you do roll over you do notice that you are in a slight depression not an issue for me or my wife. I cannot feel my wife moving on the bed if asleep very nice. Find that I get neither hot or cold on the bed. Yes they say the bed is firm and it is but I would not call it hard. No issues sleeping on it and no pressure points throughout the night, sweet. Final thoughts rated it fairly it was exactly as stated and exceeded my expectations particularly for the price. Fits perfectly for what it was purchased for, Expanded fully, I find it very comfortable, almost like better than my own bed, price was excellent. For sure it is a 100% improvement on the old 5 inch coil trailer mattress, which it going to be recycled. A winner all the way around in my mind

When we bought our camper trailer, we knew it was a "Front Queen" model, but had no idea that many RVs use a specially sized (several inch shorter) Short or RV Queen that's not that common. The crummy spring mattress it came with should have been considered a torture device and been banned by the Geneva Convention. It had to go, but I'll admit to being hesitant to buy a boxed mattress online to replace it, even if nearly anything would have been an improvement.

This Zinus Ultima Comfort mattress is so much better than I'd expected. Genuinely comfortable. Overall firm, however the memory foam does have considerable give under direct pressure or weight. Works fine for 400+ lbs of two adults; also comfy to sit up on to watch TV. If forced to find something to criticize, it's that like many foam and foam-topped mattresses, it's warmer than a traditional cloth/coil type. Certainly livable, not uncomfortably so.

Some reviews of this product complained about an odour - we never experienced anything more than a mild synthetic smell while unboxing it, likely as much from the plastic wrapping used in the packaging as anything, and it was 100% gone within a day or two of opening it.

Zinus claimed 10 inches height and it expanded to at least that in the span of a work day - look in the photo, as the side tables are 13" from the bed's platform to their top surfaces, and the mattress is only a couple of inches shy of that.

I'd have no problem recommending a Zinus mattress to anyone in the market for this style of product.

Our first purchase of this mattress was of poor quality, as it never fully inflated. Part or the mattress was 4 inches thick, part was 9.5 inches thick. We returned that mattress and ordered again, this time it fully inflated, is comfortable and the return was easy to do. I would recommend opening the box in a warm environment, as we opened it initially in our cold trailer. The 2nd mattress was opened outside in the sun on a warm day, it fully inflated and has been a great mattress for us.
