Initial impressions, this cooler works great! Compared to the older models of 12 Volt coolers, it is very quiet, can barely hear running, it cools down way faster, and uses about half the amount of power the old solid state type coolers would use just while it's running, and it cycles on and off (the older coolers don't, they're constantly on), so overall much more efficient especially important when running off a battery. Very happy with this purchase! Take out trays of food fit perfectly for bringing home leftovers. Half gallon milk jugs fit. Perfect size for my needs, fits under the cover in the back of the car. Impressed with the build quality, the plug in cords are heavy duty, not cheap wires. This model came with two cords, one to plug into the car and one to plug into the wall. Don't know how well the freezer function works, I only use it for a refrigerator, set it at 35 degrees and it maintains the temperature just like a real refrigerator does. I've only had it for a week so I can't speak of the durability yet.

It says let it sit for 4 hours before using it when you get it, let the refrigerant settle to the bottom in case it was upside down during shipment.

The beautiful colors of these portable refrigerators are what first grabbed my attention. We enjoy traveling in our camper van and also attending outdoor events where we load up our folding wagon with rocker-style camping chairs and picnic foods and settle in for a few hours. We needed to step up from coolers and ice packs to something with steady refrigeration and portability.

This light-weight unit checks those boxes with extra features, as well. There are two compartments to organize or separate different foods - cooked foods on one side, raw on the other, or drinks and cold foods in the large compartment, ice cream treats in the small one. You must set the fridge to 5 C (41 F) to activate the soft freeze feature in the small compartment. Or you can set a higher temp to maintain even refrigeration in both compartments if you don't need a freezer. These are just really good options to have.

We finally settled on the light blue color, and it is really eye-catching. The finish is so polished and shiny. We're a little concerned about it getting scratched, so we are intentionally careful. We made a unit for it to rest on in the van so it won't slide around, and we are careful when we move it. We also purchased a battery pack so it is portable to take along in our wagon as well as give it continuous power for extended road trips in the van.

We have just two issues to address. The first is that the beautiful finish may be prone to scratching or denting, so that may not work out for everybody. The second is that an interior light would be very helpful to see the contents of the fridge at night and at events that continue past sundown. You will need to use a flashlight to see inside in low-light conditions. Overall, though, we are happy with our purchase and really appreciate the beauty and versatility of this portable fridge/freezer.

I was looking for a compact fridge/freezer for camping that was capable of adequately freezing water and keeping frozen foods frozen. I tried some smaller units out but they used lots of power to get down to freezing temps and compressor stayed on all day. This 45 quart freezer (1.5 cubic feet) is more efficient since you can store more frozen foods in it to retain the cold longer. Plus it’s deep inside which also help with cold retention vs shallow models. I wasn’t able to get it down to the advertised 0 degrees F when filled with frozen foods. I could only get it down to 0 degrees F when it was empty. I’m testing inside my house at room temp environment. But if I set it at 5 degrees F it was capable of maintaining that temp when it was full of frozen items inside. It averaged 30 watt hours of power to maintain the temp (total of 720 watt hours per day) . When I wanted to freeze a new 8 pound block of ice from room temp water, it took 25 hours and total of 1150 watt hours of power to freeze it. The compressor ran 100% of the time during that 25 hours to get back down to 5 degrees F and that was when the ice had completely frozen solid. If you don’t need things that cold than it will use a lot less power in eco mode. Overall this fridge/freezer will meet my needs and i am happy with it. I contacted the seller to ask about a warranty and they responded quickly to advise the manufacture warranty covers it for 1 year. The warranty on the compressor is good for 3 years.

We got this to replace a regular cooler in our small cabin. It got to temperature really quickly. Changing the temperature is really easy and the screen lock is helpful.

One of the pros for us is that it doesn't take up as much horizontal space as a lot of other models. It's strong enough to sit on. Sometimes we need an extra seat and it works great.

Con- the unit is heavy and (with nothing in it) the handles feel like they're about to break. This seems to be a design flaw. It's one I'm willing to work around, because of the overall benefits.

I still recommend this product.

Great little fridge/ freezer basically about a 1 or 2 person fridge....works great... It is not a separate fridge and freezer, its one or the other, it has a glass top as advertised( cutting board)*****Please Note*****You must know, which we didn't, the temperature display is in Celsius not Farenheit...it's not a problem if you know the difference and know how to convert the temp readings. Plus side is that it's low motor noise, barely hear it.

I bought this to you in my semi truck. I used it twice before I quit. I am now on the road. All my food is spoiled and it’s only the second time I’ve used it. This is a waste of money. It’s garbage. I’m very angry that the company because it’s over 30 days will not do anything to make this right!!!

I just received my 25 quart portable cooler. Not a fan of that it’s only in Celsius not Fahrenheit. So at this moment, I’m trying to figure out temperatures on it and not liking it at all.

As a truck driver I was trying to figure out how to avoid eating out so much, but freezer space in the provided mini fridge was limited. I specifically picked this brand because the vent wraps all the way around unlike other brands where it's only on the sides. It gives me a bit more flexibility with where I put it. So far it's been amazing.

There was one occasion where my truck broke down and this kept everything frozen for 8 hours. Granted I kept it closed the entire time and I keep it set at 0°F. When I plugged it back in it was only up to 28°F.

The only con I can think of is that it's pretty heavy, but it's a tradeoff I'll take for how well it works. Also, the handles feel cheap when you first grab them, but I've moved it while it was fully loaded and they didn't budge/flex. They seem solid to me.

It operates at about 55W, 35W on eco, but spikes to 150W when the compressor kicks on, which is next to nothing for must inverters, so that's nice. It can handle the sides of the vent being covered, but make sure it's not fully blocked. You can tell it's too much if it can't get down to temp and it's crazy hot at the compressor (no I didn't test this on purpose lol, a pillow fell over the vent. I've taken steps to make sure it doesn't happen again). Once it reaches temp it really doesn't run too terribly often. Lastly, 45 quarts is massive. If you're not gonna move it a lot it's great, but if you don't need that much space go for a smaller and lighter size.
