About this item

  • Military-Grade Protection: Constructed with 48-inch 20-gauge steel panels and reinforced 0.8-inch diameter steel piping. While many sales cut corners with thinner gauge tubing and substandard materials to offer cheaper alternatives, we maintain uncompromising quality standards.

Engineered to serve you for years, not months.Whether you choose to replace dog crates every 1-3 months...or use the same dog crate through multiple seasons,The choice is yours, but the quality remains ours.
  • 2025 Reinforced Baseplate Upgrade: Our redesigned baseplate withstands up to 250lbs - 40% stronger than standard wire mesh flooring. Say goodbye to rust stains and paw injuries.Resistant coating prevents claw damage, while ergonomic grid spacing reduces joint stress during extended use.Premium ABS drainage tray features:✓ 3-second wipe-clean surface✓ Anti-odor micro-groove design✓ 98% deformation resistance at -20°F~180°FTrusted by 370k+ dog parents since 2003. Every detail refined through 12,000+ hours of behavioral studies. We don't just build crates - we build confidence.
  • Effortless Assembly & Quick-Clean Design:Most of the dog crate parts were pre-assembled, you just need to fit it with four wheels and six (it used to be ten) screw bolts, only takes within 5 minutes to complete. The two removable bottom pallets (a washable high grade plastic pallet and a upgrade metal pallet), make clean up more conveniently.Dog parenting can be challenging, but this crate turns those struggles into stress-free moments - your ultimate partner in creating paw-friendly routines.

  • Usage Tips: Leaving the crate door open during the initial stages can help your dog acclimate to the new environment more quickly. As the crate is made of steel, some noise may occur when your pet moves inside. To minimize noise and provide a comfortable resting area, we recommend adding a soft blanket or pet bed. The included fixing rings can be used to secure the base plate. If you have any questions during use, please feel free to contact us—our professional support team is available 24/7.

Happy Rescue Furbaby Parents!
To understand why we need the Heavy Duty Indestructible Dog Crate, I need to explain our situation. LOL! Since my husband and I retired and became empty-nesters a couple years later, we decided to put our attention and love into rescue dogs of various breeds, genders, ages, and sizes; all with various anxiety levels and concerns. Using the standard plastic- and wire-made kennels worked the last 15 years for our German Shorthaired Pointer mixes, Pitbull/Lab mix, Dachshund/Beagle mix, Blackmouthed Cur, and Parson Russell Terrier; however, we foster-failed with a very ill 3-month-old Weimaraner/Pitbull mix puppy. He was found as a sick stray requiring surgery to remove 126 nails! Now, as a 11-month-old large puppy, he has the energy his mixed breeds of Weims and Pitties are known to have compounded with the affinity for all things metal…still! Needless to say, wire crates were his snacks when we kenneled him during times we left our home. We were returning to find pieces of the wire kennel broke off; so, it was a matter of time before he found freedom. Upon researching several websites for recommendations, I found this Heavy Duty Indestructible Dog Crate with upgraded, reinforced baseplate. I read several reviews from Weimaraner owners loving these crates for their roominess, sturdiness, functionality, lack of “chew-ability,” and cleaning ease. Since he is 60 pounds of lanky love-missile energy and still growing, we needed all of these attributes. As a bonus, they provide a level of mobility/portability with their casters to help clean around the kennel without hurting backs or shoulders when moving them. If you have a bad back and shoulders like I do, this is a necessity! This very active veteran may have titanium knees from my 22-yr USAF career, I don’t plan to have more surgical repairs any time soon. LOL! The kennels are really roomy for our boy to stand up even with a 5 inch bed and blanket inside, and he easily has room to lie down and sprawl while chewing his fave toys. (At least, he shouldn’t be chewing his kennel anymore!) Now, for the negative, and it could be a showstopper for those less mechanically inclined. My husband, also a retired USAF veteran, and I have extensive mechanical abilities; so, we normally do not run into issues assembling anything; however, we hit a very minor (for us) stumbling block with the baseplate “hold down” clips’ installations to the lower rails (not clearly identified in the instructions). TBH, I almost downgraded from a 5-star rating to an 4-star one due to the poorly written instructions and illustrations as well as the provided tools. The instructions do not explain how or where to install them, and since the illustrations are small and dark…bright lighting does not help…figuring it out was a joke. Several other reviewers mention these as well in their reviews. Another sentence would have cleared this up, but the placement and installation would still be a guess. Additionally, while we did not search online for the non-existent instructional video, others have wasted their time. After a few minutes, I figured it out and finished the assembly. Here are some clarifications to the instructions that may assist future tenacious chewer owners assemble their kennels: While I understand many may not have an extensive cache of tools to use like me and my husband, the assembly process could be accomplished easier by using either sockets or wrenches instead of the provided tools. (The wrenches provided will work but are harder to use. The Allen wrench provided is useful.) Step 2. The baseplate clips go downward at the end of the grate and secured by Allen bolts (3/16) to a 10mm nut. Best way to access it is removing the plastic tray and lifting the end to make room for your hand. (Takes two for this, but I was able to attach one of mine without my husband…with a little contorting and nimble fingers. LOL!) Step 3. Attach the sides to the front by inserting and installing the 14mm bolts and nuts. Step 4. For the top door installation, insert and slightly tighten the screws but only tighten after you install the locking pins for alignment purposes. Otherwise, the locking pins will not align correctly. (Also a complaint of several customers) Step 5. The provided wrenches come in handy with the caster installations. Hold the wheel casing and bolt together to get the wheel post started. Use the wrench to tighten down the castors but do not tighten too much or the screw posts will strip out the kennel’s machined holes! (Another issue reported) If I run into issues, I will update if necessary!

This 48” dog kennel arrived fairly quickly. It’s a really beautiful dog kennel and it’s better in person than you’d expect. True to size on the ad. We love the caster wheels which makes it easy to move. They packaged it very nicely. This comes with everything you need to assemble it. They even included work gloves and extra parts just in case you lose one which many companies do not do. One of the latches had an issue but the seller was excellent and we were able to resolve it. The dog actually loves sleeping on the bottom grate without the blanket or pad. I think it is very cool for her and she will put herself in her crate on her own. She typically chooses the lying on the tile hearth tile vs carpet so she enjoys the kennel floor a lot. She slept under the pad I put in there or on the side without it. Very sturdy construction. There is nothing flimsy about this kennel!! Sturdy!! Very well made. I ended up adding some zip ties to secure the floor grate because my pup could move it but that’s not a big deal. There are no sharp edges. It was so easy to assemble. I love the tray underneath to catch treat bits or fur. Our pup is very well potty trained but in the event she wasn’t I’m sure I’d be praising the tray. All in all a fabulous kennel and the company was a pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for a kennel I’d recommend theirs!! They have many sizes to choose from.

**UPDATE: We are nearing 2 months in with this crate and it is still phenomenal! Our dog loves it (as much as one can for a crate). It's also held up to little puppy bites here and there!**

The crate is perfect. Our older dog loved to tear apart his wire crates. So when we got a new puppy I wanted to go heavier duty right away. The crate was extremely easy to put together, I love that the tray is easily removeable for any puppy accidents. The fact that is opens from the top has also been amazing for putting our pup away when he is learning the ropes on crate training. It was easy to reorganize his things before he napped every time.

Super sturdy, stable, and the wheels make it super easy to move around when needed!

This Impact dog crate has been a total upgrade for us. Assembly was straightforward and everything fit together easily. Once it’s put together, you can immediately feel how solid and heavy-duty it is — this thing is extremely sturdy.

My dog is a total Houdini and had no problem breaking out of his previous crate whenever I left the house. Since switching to this one, he hasn’t escaped once. No bent bars, no broken latches, no stress.

It looks clean and well-built, rolls easily when needed, and gives me real peace of mind. All he needs now is a comfy bed inside and he’s set.

If you have a strong or escape-prone dog, this crate is absolutely worth the investment.

(At least, he shouldn’t be chewing his kennel anymore!)

Now, for the negative, and it could be a showstopper for those less mechanically inclined.

Here are some clarifications to the instructions that may assist future tenacious chewer owners assemble their kennels:

While I understand many may not have an extensive cache of tools to use like me and my husband, the assembly process could be accomplished easier by using either sockets or wrenches instead of the provided tools. (The wrenches provided will work but are harder to use. The Allen wrench provided is useful.)

Step 2. LOL!)

Step 3. Attach the sides to the front by inserting and installing the 14mm bolts and nuts.

Step 4. For the top door installation, insert and slightly tighten the screws but only tighten after you install the locking pins for alignment purposes. Otherwise, the locking pins will not align correctly. (Also a complaint of several customers)

Step 5. The provided wrenches come in handy with the caster installations. Hold the wheel casing and bolt together to get the wheel post started. Use the wrench to tighten down the castors but do not tighten too much or the screw posts will strip out the kennel’s machined holes! (Another issue reported)

If I run into issues, I will update if necessary!

This crate is solid! It's is also a good value at the price it's at. Our Boxer was destroying the wire crate we had and so we needed an upgrade. He hasn't had any luck in doing anything to this crate. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is that no matter how much I adjust the bolts I cant get everything perfectly aligned. It works and everything closes but some of the parts around where the door is rub and I have to lift to get the latches to line up. Same with the top latches.

This kennel has been of great help to our family! Our doggy has anxiety issues and can’t be left alone in the house, especially during a thunderstorm. This kennel was easy to assemble, is large enough for my Labrador, and very secure. It’s also great to have wheels! We roll it outside to hose it down. It has rusted some from the hosing down but still in very good shape.

    I don't usually write reviews

However I just got this yesterday and I had to write one.

This product is absolutely great. I have a male husky and is used to going into his crate when asked. This crate is extra room for him, I placed a large bed in there and he loves it. Super solid super easy to put together. I would totally recommend this cage for a dog that would find a way to escape the cage. This is one definitely secure.

I have a husky who broke his last crate. Decide to give this one a try as it seemed a lot thicker bars had just seemed overall more sturdy. I am very pleased that I did as this has really good weight to it, It feels really sturdy, and the bars are solid.
