This lantern is well made, feels light but solid, the rubberized sides feel nice. The brightness of this lantern is very good, and is adjustable where you have several brightness modes and 3 color temperatures. It has a rubber handle on top and a metal one on the bottom so it is great for outdoors and carrying around. We took it camping and it lasted for several hours without loosing brightness, so I think it holds the battery charge pretty well. I compared this lantern to some other flashlight-lantern duos from Amazon for roughly the same price but preferred this lantern. It does one job but it does it well, providing 360 degrees of light which is very convenient when camping. I would buy this product again and recommend it for camping or emergencies when light is needed.

Took a shot in the dark and got this, because I have the book light from this company and love that. This lantern is awesome, haven't used it camping or anything, but since I've got it, I use it daily, going outside to lock up the chickens or anything really. We live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere and no street lights means pitch dark at night. It works great, love the brightness levels and the different color temps or tones. Haven't had it longer than a month so time will tell, will update in future on longevity and ruggedness. But as an old fashioned gas lantern camper I'm excited to use this when camping. Very convenient, battery seems to last very long! Doesn't get hot.

Fantastic lantern!!! First, I am a light junkie!!! I have several lanterns and by far and away this is my absolute favorite lantern. It's bright, has several (5) intensity levels and three light types. In addition it has an SOS mode which is an additional bonus. The construction is well made and the overall design is very pleasing. The buttons on top are easy to find and easy to use. The on/off button is slightly recessed making it easy to differentiate between the other buttons. Overall, this is a fantastic lantern and you will be pleasantly surprised by how well it is manufactured and operates!!!

Excellent portable lamp/lantern! Long battery life, even on its brighter settings, lightweight and easy to carry, It gets bright enough to illuminate a good sized room, and it's small enough to pack and not take up too much space! Over all, i would highly recommend this product.

Don't let the size fool you. It's a cool little light, plenty of light and a few choices of color shade. The light is not bulky, perfect for storms , power outages and a work light.

It is bright enough to light the way but not bright enough to read by which is what I was hoping for.

I never review items, though I am often happy with them. This lantern, however, inspired me to actually write a delighted review. I LOVE it. The construction is solid, feels well made and sturdy in hand. The materials are pleasing to touch and hold ~ the silicone strap, the frosted body, the cylindrical shape, all so texturally interesting. The controls are uncomplicated, direct, impossible to misinterpret ~ ON/OFF, 3 color temperatures and 5 levels of brightness, each at a satisfying fingertip pressure control. These features surely make this lantern a great value for money; however, the main reason I love this lantern is that the glowing light that the LEDs emit are soft and feel somehow sentient, like I am carrying a small luminous being with me, a guide lighting the way, a warm and comforting friendly presence, a representative of all light everywhere... I recently took it on a date and lit it in the darkened cabin of the car for a few minutes, and while it was distracting to the driver and I turned it off, it was a charming companion for those brief moments. I highly recommend this lantern to anyone wanting a light source to illuminate the shadows, or for poetic campers, lovers, seekers of symbolic meaning in the mundane. May you also be illumined by the mystery and beauty of this simple fact of light.

It is bright, light weight and easy to operate. It charged quickly - though the charging cord is intended to plug into a bit of an odd source. But the charging port on the light is standard and common.
