We love this mattress for an affordable yet natural enough option! We have it in Queen and also Cali King. Note: I ordered the firm and got the correct one, however it reads medium on the tag, while the box says firm. This is to be expected as far as I can tell. It is firm, maybe a 4/5 or a bit more if you are on the smaller size. Thanks for the second upgrade!

The web site for the product aside (which is no good) the mattress is terrific. I stayed at an air b&b and this was the exact mattress I slept on for five nights. I got home and bought it right away. The support is excellent. The firm (I got) is solid in a supportive way. It's cool and has no gasses. I was able to sleep on it the first night but it got to where it is supposed to be during the second day. I LOVE IT! My lower back and hips love it. And talk about value; it's great. I just bought a great mattress for three times the price six months ago; it's a good one. But I am 'regifting'. I am staying with Lucid.

Bought the 10” Lucid in the firm version at the very end of December 2020 (post Christmas sale). Wanted the overall height of the bed to be lower than our previous 14” Simmons memory foam on foam platform supporting box spring. That was furniture store bought and which was about 10 years old. It had depressed where we each usually sleep. Kept the platform which really didn’t appear to have any sag and added a wood slat support on top of it to preempt it from getting any from the thinner mattress. Let the new mattress breathe after unboxing for four days. Put it in place and attempted sleep for a few nights. Then we talked and found out we were sharing the same pain. Bone joints; shoulders, hips, knees, and elbows, ached for both my spouse and me; hubby 6’3” 188 lbs & wife 5’3” 118. Tried sleeping on back, sides and front.

By the 7th of January we bought a 4” combination mattress pad that’s 2” more memory foam and 2” polyester padding. So much for the thinner profile and actually seeing much of our headboard. This made the bed comfortable and our sleeping nightly remained sound until November 2023. By then the sleep spots were getting depressions in the top of the bed which were no longer removed by a wash of the fiber pad and fluffing. Removed the mattress pad combo and replaced with to another pad set that claims 4” but is really 2.5” memory foam and 1” polyester pad and this has rejuvenated full night’s sleep and a flat bed top again.No depressions were noticed in the mattress when making the topper switch. It was so hard I don’t know that we could depress it.

Overall thoughts - Really wished we could have done a lay test. Pleased the Lucid mattress has held shape. Sad it was about 40% of the price to make it sleep worthy. Okay with the fact that add got us 3 years of use and it was about that same amount to renew the feeling rather than buying a new mattress. If it goes another 2-3 years then the value decision to get a bed in a box has been comparatively inexpensive to the store experience and we’ll do it again.

I bought this Lucid 5” memory foam mattress for a simple setup and honestly didn’t expect much, but it turned out better than expected. It’s definitely on the firmer side, which I personally like, especially for back support.

Even though it’s only 5 inches thick, it feels supportive and doesn’t sink too much. It works great for a guest room / kids room / lighter use, and it fits perfectly on a platform bed frame. Setup was super easy and just unbox and let it expand.

I also noticed it doesn’t trap too much heat compared to other memory foam mattresses, which is a plus. No strong chemical smell either after airing it out for a bit.

Overall, great value if you’re not looking for something super thick or ultra-plush. Solid, simple, and gets the job done.

If you want it a little more “Amazon top reviewer style” (shorter, more punchy, or more critical), I can tweak it 👍

Perfect mattress for our needs. - We were looking for a mattress to go in my kid’s trundle. It’s a PB trundle and the only other mattress we found to fit it was at PB and it was almost $400! Ridiculous. We really struggled to find a different one that was the right size and still quality. This one fits perfectly and is so SO comfortable! Great quality. Great product. Great price. Done, done, and done. Highly recommended.

Got this during Prime Day to replace a couple of foam toppers I have been using on a hand-me-down traditional full mattress and box springs set that is still too hard for my taste despite being broken down. The two toppers were about 5 inches total of just "memory foam" and weren't really getting the job done. I am 62, overweight, and have arthritis in many joints, including my hips. I sleep mainly on my left side but at times, my left hip would hurt and I would end up on my back during the night. This caused my back to hurt and my legs to go numb. Not to mention apnea episodes with multiple wakings during the night.

To be honest, I really didn't pay much attention to the inches and just saw the good price - got mine for a lot less than what it's going for now. When I got it and saw that it was only 5 inches, I worried. Especially when I read on the company website that it was designed to transition kids from the crib to a full size bed. I was afraid it wouldn't be firm enough to give the support I needed. Happy to say that assessment was very, very wrong.

I got it out of the box at around 11:00 am and it was fully decompressed by the time I was ready for bed 12 hours later. There was no strong smell that I could detect and I am very sensitive to smells. It's firm enough to keep my hip from hitting bottom yet cushy enough to keep me pain free. I woke up on my side, exactly as I had gone to sleep. Basically, I slept like a rock and woke up feeling a lot better than I usually do.

I would definitely recommend this mattress if you are looking for a replacement. However, considering how the full mattress is suddenly going for more than twice what I paid for mine during Prime Day, you might want to check around for a better price if you're looking for a full.

By the way, this mattress works just fine atop a traditional mattress and box springs. I even have another foam topper between the older mattress and this new one but only because it would have been a royal pain to have gotten rid of the topper first.

We bought this to fit in a Sofa Bed. We have a sectional from Ikea and the bed frame it came with (Smedsbyn Sofa Bed Mechanism) is sold with a mattress that is also 5" thick. Hoping for better comfort, we choose this Lucid mattress. The dimensions of it are perfect and the thickness is just borderline to the max. It fits, it's a tight tolerance so when closing, you need to put some weight on it, but it closes.

With all the excitement of having a new sectional with a bed in it and a 2 year old, we had a blast lounging and enjoying the comfort. It's not as comfy as the 16" mattress in our bedroom, but it really did provide a good night's sleep. So for those rare visitors that need a bed for a night, it'll work out great and for the lounging and watching TV, it more than serves its purpose.

It took about 12 hours to fully expand and the great part is that it didn't off gas/gas off (or whatever) at all, so no stinky fumes. We kept it on our living room floor for a couple of nights as we waited for the sectional to be delivered. Even on a wood floor, the mattress was OK, not great, but if you intend to put it on a hard surface, it's still a decent mattress. It feels better on the pliable bed frame/mesh or maybe my 205 - 210 lbs of weight contributes to the feel when on a hard floor? Either way, I like it.

Purchased for daybed and size is perfect. It reaches about 9.5 inches at 24 hours and the full 10 inches by the 72 hours of unpacking. I purchased "firm" and it is as expected in firmness- that is to say VERY firm.

I didn't expect "craters" to form in the mattress while resting on it! They are especially bad when lounging. The mattress does go back to flat after being vacant for 10 minutes but who wants to wake up in a hole? It feels good on my back going to sleep but half-way through the night when I wake up in a hole, by back hurts. I have been sleeping on this mattress for 1 week.

I got the twin size and weigh in at 198 lbs so do not come close to the weight limit they advertise. This should not be a problem. This is not my first foam mattress. Nor is is my first "firm" mattress. I have to conclude inferior materials are used in this product. I am within the return period, but as this is a foam mattress that cannot be decompressed at home know that ANY foam mattress purchased online through Amazon is basically nonreturnable.

Vámonos por partes: a mí me gusta el colchón más firme que suave y este es muy firme pero cuando ya estás acostado parece que flotas. Y sí, en las tiendas te acuestas y los suaves los primeros segundos dices "ah que rico", los siguientes minutos "que a gusto" pero las horas después amances con dolor! Este colchón está hecho para dormir 12 horas o más! Es fresco, no es ruidoso, no te molesta tu pareja si se mueve, es firme pero suave, es el mejor LUCID que he comprado de los 3 por el grosor. Y LUNNA está padre pero este hace que amanezca feliz, en serio uno descansa.

Yes, a bed in a box idea...but WOW. read the reviews, say the pictures, had reservations but 2 nights in, im a believer. arrived fast (as always) no damage, they called ahead..setup was easy, within 6 hours the mattress cover was taunt. very firm feel, but looks like a great mattress. very little smell but waited the 24 hours before dressing it for use. Yes firm first lay down, but i could feel myself sinking into the 'gel foam' in the first few minutes, feeling warm and sluggly. really forms to fit...restful sleep, wont say my back pain is gone, but time will tell. will buy another when the rest of the house needs a better nights sleep.

* El colchón viene dentro de una caja de cartón, envuelto en plástico, enrollado y sellado al vacío. Quitar la caja puede ser complicado si no tienes apoyo de otra persona y los plásticos deben quitarse con mucho cuidado con la navaja que viene incluida en la caja. Al momento de desembalar y desenrollar el colchón, éste viene muy delgado. Déjalo reposar unas horas (yo esperé unas 10 horas aproximadamente) y se inflará solo, poco a poco.

* El colchón es comodísimo. Es de firmeza media, por lo que considero que es adecuado para todo tipo de personas. Yo puedo dormir boca arriba y de costado en él sin ningún problema. Esto lo comento porque aún cuando Lucid lo vende recomendando su uso en niños, la verdad es que yo sí he dormido muy bien, con mis 25 años de edad.

* El colchón es de memory foam en su mayoría, así que se hunde cómodamente donde te acuestas/sientas (si no te agrada la sensación de hundimiento, el colchón no es para ti), y cuando te levantas puedes ver como el colchón recupera su forma, por lo que siempre se sentirá como nuevo. Llevo 1 mes con el colchón y sigo teniendo la misma experiencia cómoda (actualizaré la reseña cuando esto ya no sea así).

* El colchón tiene 12.7 centímetros (5 pulgadas) de alto para ser precisos (no 13 centímetros, como dice la descripción del producto) y eso lo convierte en un colchón liviano, facil de mover y cargar. Derivado de su altura y facilidad de movimiento, decidí ponerlo encima de mi antiguo colchón sin ningún problema.

* Alivió mi dolor de espalda pero de manera muy leve, por lo que si sufres de problemas serios o graves de cuello o espalda, este colchón no es tu mejor opción. Mejor opta por un colchón ortopédico.

En general, un buen colchón: económico y cómodo como cualquier otro colchón de memory foam.

Bought for out popup trailer. WAY better than the stock mattress. Getting much better sleep. Definitely would recommend this product.
