The quick-connect fitting plugged into the RV connection easily, and the brass fittings feel solid and secure. Once connected, it held pressure well with no leaks detected.
The included elbow adapter is a nice touch because it helps the hose sit more naturally at the griddle connection and reduces strain instead of having the hose sticking straight out awkwardly. The kit also includes yellow gas-rated thread tape, which is useful if your setup needs it. I also like the yellow rubber dust cap on the quick-connect end. It fits better than the flimsy hard plastic caps I’ve seen on some hoses and should do a better job keeping dirt out when the hose is stored.
The hose itself feels durable enough for normal camping use, though it is more “firm flexible” than soft and supple. Eight feet is workable and keeps things neat, but depending on your campsite layout, you may wish it were longer so the grill does not have to sit so close to the camper. Also, this is meant for an RV low-pressure quick-connect setup, so don’t assume it will connect directly to a standard 20-pound propane cylinder without another adapter.
Overall, this is a practical, well-made propane hose that makes RV cooking easier and cleaner. It is especially handy for a Blackstone-style griddle setup, as long as you confirm your fittings and propane pressure system match before ordering.

The OEM propane fitting on the trailer is pretty much standard on all trailers these days and it makes it super easy to hook up to your RV propane tanks.
I don’t know a lot about propane hoses but from what I can tell it’s up to specs. The quick connect 1/4” brass fitting married up perfectly with my trailer connector and the hose material appears to be on par with industry standards.
I appreciate that this hose kit comes with an elbow adapter to marry up with my Blackstone griddle. That’s a definite plus. BBQHKCX, the maker of this hose, states that this propane hose gives you the option to use it with your Blackstone griddle, or to simply remove the elbow to use with your fire pit or other propane device. I’m not so sure that will be a viable option for me but you do get included with this purchase the necessary gas thread tape to use with your applications.
Anyway, for about $17 you get some pretty good value out of this RV propane hose kit. I say thumbs up.

The length is also good with 8 feet that gives enough room to position our grill comfortably without being right up against the RV.
