These room darkening curtains are wonderful. Beautiful, well made, folded so nicely that only one hardly noticeable fold mark near the bottom is visible. Color is perfect, quality way above what I expected for the price. I needed something to block out the sun from the tv screen and help with cold in winter. I have a Roman shade on the living room windows but because the afternoon sun is such an issue, thought I would try this. Perfect in every way! I may even order one for the other window in same room for the winter cold. No odor, easy to hang and will definitely help this winter and maybe even with the heat this summer.

LOVE these curtains! Have them in other colors too!! Colors do not fade with sun, they are sooo soft, lay well and great quality!! Block light well. Material is heavy enough believe it helps with our old windows too!!

They are nice and they do darken the room , but definitely not blackout material. Still getting light through even with blinds under them .

These curtains truly live up to their reputation as blackout curtains. I was thoroughly impressed by the high-quality material and solid construction. While the panels were not as soft or pliable as I initially expected, they fulfilled my need perfectly, especially for my west-facing bedroom windows with the hot Texas summer approaching.

To enhance the softness and flexibility, I washed and dried the curtains using the Permanent-Press Cycle and wool drying balls. This process resulted in noticeably softer and more pliable panels, making them more comfortable and easier to handle.

Upon close inspection, I noticed the curtain construction featured a 1/2" fold-over hem at one end and a 3" hem at the other, designed for the curtain rod pocket. Leveraging my sewing skills, I decided to invert the curtain, so the 3" hem became the bottom edge. I then sewed a 2-1/2" bias to create a new curtain rod pocket, ensuring the panels achieved the desired length of 72".

Overall, if you are searching for blackout curtains, these panels are a great choice and I highly recommend them. They provide effective light blocking, quality construction, and can be customized as needed.

These work great at blocking the light and are a good color. We needed some blackout curtains for our living room so that we didn’t have a reflection on the tv and these work really well. I like that they are the same color on both sides. The thickness of these is a nice middle ground for room darkening. They do not completely block the light like some blackout curtains but they are exactly what we were looking for.

I was hesitant to get these, but decided to anyway, and I have to say I absolutely love them. I got some for my livingroom and dining room. They do a fantastic job keeping light out and they look nice as well. I work nights so I sleep during the day and before these curtains the light from the dining room windows would shine in under my bedroom door and wake me up in the afternoon. Now that I have these, my room stays nice and dark. My son sleeps on the couch in the livingroom and he loves them too. He doesn't get woken up by bright morning light on the weekends now so he can sleep in. I will definitely be buying more of these for the rest of my house.

New update, this round bought the red with gold holiday decorations on it to fit between mys and the screen doors. We have two. Act as a barrier and look nice. Zero draft. Despite doing insulation trim using aluminum type that fits snug when it’s nasty below zero cold air somehow creeps in. This decorative option is lovely during the holidays. Bought a spring loaded rod and it fits perfect. Added a draft pillow to hold it snug and lots of heat savings as a result.

Bought black for other than the holidays use. Which can come in handy in summer when humidity climbs.

There’s other Reno projects so the door gets a curtain for now. Effective option I wish I thought of sooner. And the sale was a treat, too

Not just for house windows … must haves. Epic price. Perfect more many uses.

During renovations of a vintage 1900 property figured out having a curtain snug the windows is the best way to curb the cold and up the R value. Or, help during extreme heat.

Another epic use, the Jeep used for travel like an RV is equipped with these on three sides in the back. Reflectix for the front window and custom made for the half door windows. Assisting in making the interior a tiny oven keeping us warm when the temp dips at night. And, keeps the light out easy peasy.

Most windows we use one panel. Drawing them in the opposite direction using black spring loaded rods.

This technique has helped during renovations for privacy. Keeps the rooms much warmer in winter. And, unless I move the curtain the smoking hot sun can’t break the barrier.

With the black out ability we’re able to sleep in as needed. At home or on the road. Driving late into the night it’s wonderful to sleep past dawn as needed.

For those enjoying the travel option, for sound, train on brown noise throughout the year. Then, when camping on the road at Loves stations or anywhere, use brown noise … I plug the phone into my Jackery and use an app called White Noise that hosts unlimited Brown Noise, too.

Mack’s ear plugs for louder than normal stops with brown noise and a comfy face mask if the lighting in the stop is peeking through the sides of the curtains as an extra layer. You’ll get exceptional sleep. With incredible sunrises.

If you’re looking for fancy, these can dress up a window with a linen curtain between the window and curtain. Using similar black spring rod.

I prefer a single panel. If you’re handy could cut the curtain in half. Stitch an edge. Custom fit to the window and now ya have two halves for opening both directions. Showcasing the linen panel underneath.

I didn't expect too much out of these curtains given the low price point but I was pleasantly surprised! The fabric is incredibly soft, stitching was clean and sturdy. They do a good job blocking out light even though they are not lined and so far seem to hold out the cold as well. I would definitely recommend this product.
