Very disappointed. Installed in RV as a replacement to upgrade sound quality. While sound improvement has been very good, unfortunately DVD player is not reading majority of DVDs that old system did play successfully. Already cleaned DVDs and tried in other devices and DVDs performed successfully in those devices. The screen occasionally shows, "This Player is incompatible with this region marking of this disc", when trying these DVDs. And this seems to be intermittent as it immediately reads and plays some DVDs that are from the same producer and manufacturer. Unfortunately if this unit is operating as designed, it is a wasted purchase, and may not be resolved by a replacement.

UPDATE: After a very prompt response from QAV Division of Patrick Industries verifying the unit is defective and advising me to return it, I've completed the initial return steps and process to Amazon and will be receiving a new one. Very impressive response from both the supplier and Amazon. I've changed the stars accordingly and will update them again after receiving and successful operation of new unit.

Additionally, as new as this unit is, why it's not designed to play Blu Ray, is also hard to understand.

After receiving replacement unit, I'm very satisfied with it's operation and quality of video and sound in our RV. Very thankful for supplier and amazon quick resolution in the receipt and return process to obtain replacement unit. Installation was easy and operation procedures simple to use. We installed additional Blu Ray player to handle Blu Ray discs and with that running the TV sound through the iRV34 provides good quality sound during the use of that player.

It was perfect to replace the old one with. It did take an electrician friend of mine to splice all the wires together properly, but it is great 👍

The iRV34 was a direct replacement for my Elite series radio installed in my camper. The unit looks great. For some reason, when I turn the unit off then back on, sound fails to come on. Once I unplug then reinsert the speaker harness the sound will comeback on...until you turn the unit off then back on, no sound again. I inspected the plug, but didnt see any pins or sockets loose or pulled out. I found that I had to not push the connector in all the way. I've checked it for 2 days now, and no sound issues any longer. I've secured the plug in this position. I'm glad i figured it out, as i didnt want to have to go thru the hassle of returning the radio. Also, the number 4 preset button will not save a station. All 7 of the other preset buttons work fine. The last issue is the EQ function. The owners manual makes absolutely no mention of how to set the EQ. You access it by taping on the button in the center of the volume button. Only tap it, if you push and hold it, it brings up the ability to change from USA or Europe radio frequencies.

Now the good, it looks great and the sound seems to be better quality (even with the standard low quality rv speakers) than the factory unit. Instalation is a breeze...if you've ever wired up a car stereo, its all the same. Power, ground, antenna and speakers.

No issues with the display, like other reviews. We'll see how it holds up.

I hooked up my wires wrong on my battery and fried my Genesis technologies original system. found this on Amazon. wasn't excited about the price but these units are important in a trailer with kids. it fit the existing whole perfectly and all previous wires and plugs went right in with no issues. easiest replacement fix ever. five stars are given for prompt delivery, well packaged unit, and everything works as expected. time will tell if the unit still works down the road.

Just got our new iRV34 installed (we bought a used rig whose entertainment system had been removed for some reason, so the wire harness was easily accessible.) I used closed-end crimp fasteners to connect the RV's speaker and power wires to the wires of the iRV34's two connector pigtails. The connectors snap into the back of the unit easily (although the 14-pin speaker connector is hard to remove again.) The manual seems to have all of the connection and operating mode info I needed, although there are some modes I'm not familiar with and didn't try out yet. Hoping to enjoy this purchase for many years.

Now if I had only measured correctly to make sure the unit fits the RV's cutout, I'd be ready to travel! But it will take a bit of cutting to make it fit (taller and not as wide as I thought it would be.) I shopped Amazon and Crutchfield for alternatives, and may have gotten my measurements mixed up, but this seemed to be the only affordable 3-zone system that would do the job. For some reason the Jensen equivalent doesn't have an HDMI output (let alone HDMI-ARC, or Audio Return Channel like the iRV34, which allows the TV audio to play over the RV sound system), which is needed to connect our particular TV. And I've had bad luck with a Jensen stereo/GPS that I installed in our tow vehicle 3 years ago and now loses its memory whenever the truck is turned off.

Unit is only weeks old, getting ready to go camping and notice display not working correctly now. I tried factory reset per owners manual but that function did not really seem to work or do anything noticeable. I reached out to their customer support using the Amazon site but they have not responded. The Amazon support/tech group for the product said it was a third party product and offered me a 1/5 of the value future purchase credit or since it’s still within the return window, initiate a return. New product not working correctly and vendor not responding.

UPDATE: The tech manager did reach out to me and basically said it was a bad unit and could not be corrected by a user factory reset. I did return it and ordered another one. Right out of the box it has too had the same display problem as shown in the pictures. The first did it a couple weeks after install, this one was immediately. I returning it also and trying it one more time. I’ve already enlarged the opening in the cabinet wall to fit this unit and feel a bit stuck now. Thankfully Amazon’s return makes it worthwhile to try and and Hopefully the third time will be a charm. I did purchase the extended warranty just in case it starts off good and goes south later on. It’s a decent product for the price and I’m really hopeful this works out to be just back to back bad luck.

The first iRV34-C I ordered from a different supplier did not work on speaker channel three (outside speakers on our travel trailer). I hadn't installed it right away when I first received it, it sat on my bench for a while, so I did not return the unit. I lived without channel three for a couple of years. I decided to try the product one more time since the camper was now wired for it and I had made a customer mounting plate. The second iRV34-C, this one from Amazon, worked as intended. I upgraded my speakers to Kicker 46CSC54 speakers on the inside and Pyle marine speakers (weatherproof) on the outside. Huge difference. My advice would be to install this unit quickly after receiving to confirm it works properly, the quality control is questionable, but once you get a working unit, I found it to be adequately functional.

Great RV radio had to do a little modification to my existing compartment but not a bad install much better than the old radio.

Plug and play. Worked well.

Replaced an older model with newer version of the same system in our RV. Was easy to install because of compatible plug-ins.

This is the second one I have purchased and again the remote control doesn't work. Have written a few times with no reply. Gonna return this one as well and purchase a cheaper model without the dvd or remote and just buy a separate dvd player. Won't look as nice. But will cost half the amount and at least I know I am getting what I am paying for. Terrible customer service and will leave feedback
