- 360° Omni-Directional Reception: Receive UHF/VHF signals from all directions while providing clear 4K pictures, no need to rotate, no need the remote control as traditional huge outdoor antennas; No need to worry about local weather as it’s made of moisture-proof and flame-retardant materials; Say goodbye to endless adjustment

- Built-in Pre-Amplifier And 4GLTE Filter: Allows you to boost signal right at the antenna, and removes interference and channel loss caused by 4G mobile phone signals, making up for the signal loss from long cable runs and splitters; According to the signal range, the amplifier enlarges suitable multiples to ensure the coverage extension
- Save On Installation Fees: No tools are needed for easy installation; For home, RV, attic, marine use, including a 32ft RG6U coaxial cable, which makes it easy to place the amplified HDTV antenna in high-reception areas; Compared with big-size traditional antenna, this modern antenna is much easier to install with our included accessories

Easy to Use/Good Performer
Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2015We live in an apartment that does not allow us to position our antenna in the most ideal location. With that said, the 1byone does a pretty good job of getting us TV signals.
Setting up the antenna is quite easy and self explanatory. Same goes for attaching the included amplifier. The ease of use is one of the reasons I enjoy the product. Placement of the antenna is a bit more difficult, as it takes a great deal of trial and error. After trying many, many placements, we discovered that the antenna actually works best when it is mounted inside the apartment. That being said, I recommend listening to all the reviews that talk about placing the antenna high. We placed ours on the wall a little over 3/4 of the way up the wall and found the reception to be best here.
As far as aesthetics, the antenna satisfies. We were initially skeptical about placing it inside on the wall, but the shiny white color does not provide much of an imposing spectacle on the wall. The cord is very long, allowing a great deal of flexibility in placement. The down side of the longer cord, of course, is hiding it. Currently we have the cord running along the floor boards, but I think it could be easily hidden along the ceiling edge if we took a little more time and effort to take care of it.
For performance, we have been generally satisfied. We currently use the amplifier to find stations and have found that we get generally good reception the majority of the time. Some of the breaks in signal can get quite frustrating, especially for live events. As I stated earlier, however, we do not have the ideal apartment location available to us, so this is not entirely the fault of the antenna. We tried the antenna without amplification aswell, but did not see any real benefit to disconnecting the amp.
Overall, this is a great antenna at this price point. If you are searching for a sort of swiss army knife antenna that can provide unamplified and amplified options, the combination of value and performance is definitely very good in this option.

Great for the attic but not waterproof
Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2026This would be a great antenna for mounting in the attic. Mine was mounted horizontally outside in Reno, NV at about 4500 feet elevation. After almost two years it stopped working. I took it off and found that it had filled with water, soaking the preamplifier and corroding the rf connector. There is no obvious leak path or crack in the housing. Maybe moist air gets sucked in and condenses when cooling. I bought another one, sealed the peripheral seam and four screw holes and drilled twelve drainage holes around the bottom center, one in each of the interior radial segments. Now it should no longer flood the preamp and rf connector, making it four star worthy. Five stars would require gold plated rf connectors.

Waste of time and money for me
Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2016UPDATE 10/25/2016: I cannot get more than 70 channels anymore. Of the 70, maybe 5 are in English and aren't shopping channels. And I get only one major network. So this product doesn't work for me in the end. I tried moving the antenna 50 different times, which only resulted in using more doublesided tape and a lot of tape residue all over my window.
UPDATE 10/18/2016: The antenna was inadvertently moved and now for the life of me I cannot get more than maybe 70 channels, most of which are NOT major network channels. At this point I'm rather disappointed and have spent a lot of time experimenting with placement and am getting about 1/2 of the total channels as before.
I decided to finally cut the cable cord and bought this antenna as a similar type came highly recommended but this one was considerably less expensive. I live just 20 miles from downtown LA so I figured the 50 mile radius would be more than enough. Perhaps 20-30 miles would have been fine, or even rabbit ears.
Either way, at last search I had 124 channels! Mind you, it's important to search and search again and again and again and move the antenna around, up and down, on its back, flat, on the wall, in a window, etc. For me the window facing north works best. I live in a courtyard style apartment complex on the first of two floors yet I guess that doesn't matter as it must penetrate structures/trees, etc. in some way that I don't understand.
I do think there are many, many variables to consider, including weather (which I don't have) and perhaps wind in particular. It seems that even if you put the antenna in a fixed location, your channels and reception will vary from time to time. When that happens, I'd suggest searching and searching again and so on.
Getting ABC to come in took several tries. It finally happened when I got up to 121 channels I think. Even then it's not real clear but I know if I fiddle with the antenna's location a tad it will come in fine. That of course means that once the antenna is moved even a bit, other channels might be lost or at less viewable. Yet you might get some channels that you previously did not.
Oddly enough I have a local San Diego CBS channel which comes in great, even though I am roughly 100 miles north of San Diego (and my antenna faces north, not south).
While 124 channels may sound fantastic, I would say at least 2/3 of them are in languages I don't speak.
I've realized that there is so much better tv to be found with an antenna instead of with cable. Some examples in the past few days: "Barney Miller," "The Mary Tyler Moore," "The White Shadow" and "Charlie's Angels," not to mention terrific classic movies like "The Great Escape." Sure, I might be dating myself but this stuff is more watchable to me than any reality tv program of today. Since most of what I watch besides live sports is nothing in particular, preferring to channel-surf mindlessly, this works out A-OK for me.
One issue is that with antenna tv, unless you have a tv guide and/or want to go online to check every channel's website for listings, you really don't know what is on and when. And the descriptions (when they appear) for shows are often very basic.
Perhaps someone has a suggestion on how I can easily find out what each local channel is broadcasting.
Ultimately I wish I had done this years ago. With streaming MLB & NBA subscriptions plus Sling TV when needed (for ESPN, TNT, TBS and other channels that show MLB & NBA playoff games live that are not usually shown streaming online even with subscription), I am going to save tons and am a happy camper. Note: MLB Extra Innings on cable (which my dad has, 100 miles away) now comes with a free subscription to its streaming online service (which is normally $110-$130 of late) so it's a boon for me as I use that for free.
It's been close to a month and I am now getting 149 channels. Some are pixelated/unclear but that's a lot of channels!

WELL WORTH THE MONEY
Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2026I bought this antenna to replace a big metal one I had on the roof of my mobile home. The big mounting bracket screws were damaging my roof when the wind blew and swayed the antenna. This new one is light as a feather. I was apprehensive to order it because it is so small and light. I used the bracket that came with it. I mounted it to the rain gutter on the side of the house with 2 screws, I plugged it into my Tablo and scanned for channels. I live 40 miles from Tampa and 50 miles from Orlando. I now get 175 channels clear as a bell. The antenna is great and Tablo makes it even better. I plugged the antenna wire into the powered amplifier that came with it and plugged the amplifier into a wall outlet and Tablo. I used the Tablo app to scan for channels. The app tells you the signal strength for each channel and the option to disregard channels you don't want or have weak signals. I highly recommend this antenna if you live less than 100 miles from a major city. Also, I recommend getting a Tablo box if you don't have one. I bought mine on Amazon for about $60. There is no other fee other than the purchase price. You plug it into your wifi router with a cable that comes with it and plug the antenna amplifier into Tablo. I have Firesticks on every TV in the house. I have the Tablo app on each one (the app is also free). I just go to the Tablo app on each TV and get 175 channels on each one without any additional cables or wires, just a Firestick with the Tablo app on it. NOTE: When I asked rufus if I needed to use the external amplifier that came with the antenna, it said NO. My experience says YES, you must use it to get the clearest channels.

Very good at both VHF and UHF reception.
Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2026Excellent VHF/UHF HD antenna with optional signal amplifier. Long 20 feet of coaxial cable should be enough to reach window. You can use on a stand indoors but placing it between the window and screen works well for me. I live about 6 miles from Manhattan. My window luckily face southwest toward the empire state building and freedom tower, which broadcast most HD stations. The problem in nyc is there are multiple fm radio stations that broadcast on frequencies that are adjacent to VHF frequencies. CBS2, NBC,4 Fox5 broadcast in UHF but ABC7, WOR9, WPIX11 and PBS13 broadcast in VHF. These FM signals interfere with reception of VHF stations so do yourself a favor and get a cheap FM trap/filter. that you connect between the antenna and amplifier. FYI In a city like NYC if you live with 15 miles of broadcast towers, you might not need the amplifier. Sometimes they also amplify the signal so much that the tuner cannot process the signal correctly and big city stations emit a very strong signal and there are many of them. Also to get a few extra channels without any pixelation you can piggy back another filter called a LTE/5G filter. These barrel shaped filters filter out the "noise" and interference from cell phone towers, cordless home phones and wifi routers that work on 2.4 and 5 ghz. A must for high population cites, especially nyc artment buildings. Amazon sells the LTE filters but not fm traps. A company that sells both of these high quality necessities is Channel Master. Channelmaster.com I bought an fm trap for $10 and a LTE filters for $15. You'll need a very short coaxial jumper and some female to female connectors or barrels also, just make sure they are the 3 ghz barrels not cheap 1 ghz. 3ghz you get net no signal loss. Also you should never split the signal, your better off getting a separate antenna for a 2nd tv. Even the best splitters you will lose-3.5 do each leg which equates to 50% signal loss. A better idea is an old good quality A/B switch if you live alone. Happy cord cutting!

Early Retirement5 out of 5 starsWorks fine if you're within range of local OTA TV stations.
Reviewed in Canada on June 9, 2022First off, use the TVFool website to see what OTA stations are available in your area (enter in your postal code or zip code, then do a search). I live about 25 minutes north of Toronto, Ontario, so I knew that there were at least 30+ free OTA TV channels from Toronto and Buffalo that I'd be able to watch if everything worked out. Unfortunately for me, this small antenna had to be placed on an inside wall facing AWAY from the broadcast TV antennas that I wanted to catch. This of course was far from ideal. I knew that I'd loose quite a few channels mounting it that way, but I had no choice, because the bedroom TV that I wanted to use it with, is located on the opposite side of the house, and that room didn't have a coax cable from the home builder going to it that I could have used to extend/relocate the antenna's amplified white box and the rectangular antenna array to a better location. Anyway, I plugged the antenna into the 'ANT/Cable' connection on the back of my Hisense 50" TV, and used a small 5v power brick to supply the needed power to the amplifier's white box. Please note, the TV already has a built-in ATSC tuner, and you NEED this type of tuner or else this antenna (or any other indoor or outdoor UHF/VHF antenna) won't catch any OTA TV stations. Anyway, I then slid the little black switch on the white amplifier box to 'distant' (which turns on the built in amplifier), and then sat back and waited for the TV's ATSC tuner to do it's thing. I ended up with 12 OTA channels (all from Toronto), which is not bad considering where I had to place the antenna. I tied it again with the switch set to 'local', but it only found 5 channels, so I scanned it again with the distant switch turned back on.
For comparison, I also have a outdoor rooftop Channel Master UHF/VHF OTA antenna, and that thing brings in almost 40 channels without any issues.... then again, the Channel Master antenna is mounted high on the roof without any obstructions between the TV towers in Toronto and Buffalo, and my home's outdoor antenna.
This little powered antenna has to deal with a whole bunch of walls and doors, which severely interferes with OTA signals, but it was still able to find 12 channels. I'm impressed by that. With that said, am I happy overall with this little powered antenna for the spare bedroom TV? Yep, especially when I take into account how easy it was to mount on the wall, how small it is when compared to my large outdoor one, and how affordable it was when I bought it. It's a great option for people that want to try out OTA, and don't want to use a bigger outdoor antenna.
