Very high quality, and it works!
Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2024From the minute I opened the box I was impressed that everything in it, including the packaging, was of the highest quality. Installation was straightforward, if time-consuming; trying to figure out where to place everything, then routing the wires, took a while (but that's mostly because I want everything to look like it's built into the RV). It's important to keep the outdoor antenna as far away as possible from the indoor one, so I mounted the outdoor one on the rear corner of our vacation trailer. Then, when I'm using the HiBoost, I put the indoor antenna on the floor (again, to get distance between inside and outside antennas), with my iPhone near it. The iPhone is then used as a hotspot for my computer.
And it works. Before I turned on the booster the first time, in my driveway, I tested my Verizon download speed on the phone: around 60Mbps download speed. Whoa, probably not gonna improve on that. But then I turned on the booster. Almost 140Mbps download speed, better than I get on my in-home wifi!
I'm writing this from a spot near the Mexican border in AZ that has pretty poor cell service. Using my iPhone 13 I typically get 3G service from a Mexican cell tower. But when I turn on the booster I get 2-3 bars of LTE, and my hotspot-enabled internet works great. Happy camper!
The only negative I found was the instructions, which can be confusing. But here's all you need to know: the outside antenna wire plugs into one end of the booster (it's marked), the inside antenna plugs into the other. Power for the booster comes from either 12V (it comes with a switched cigarette lighter plug) or 110. Oh, and as I said, keep the antennas as far apart from each other as possible.*
Two thumbs way up for the HiBoost cell booster. All of the pieces seem to be very well made, and, most importantly, it works. The fact that it's about a hundred bucks less expensive than the 'Brand W' booster is a bonus. I'd buy it again in a minute.
*There are 3 LED's on top of the booster. If there's interference between the two antennas, the LED closest to the power input will either be red, if the interference is very bad, or slowly blink blue if the interference is mild. My indoor and outdoor antennas are about 10 ft apart, and I usually get the slow blue blink, showing mild interference, but it doesn't seem to keep my hotspot from working fine.

Works Flawlessy
Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2026The HiBoost Travel 3.0 RV Cell Phone Signal Booster has been a great investment so far. Before installing it at my current location, I only had 1 bar or no service at all, with speeds around 1 Mbps. After setting it up, I’m now consistently getting between 25–50 Mbps.
Installation was straightforward, and the performance improvement was immediate. Calls are more reliable, data speeds are significantly faster, and overall connectivity has been much more stable.
If you travel often or stay in rural areas with weak signal, this booster definitely delivers and works flawlessly in my experience.

I like it and the company was good to me as well
Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2024I’ve been camping (RV’ing) with it twice now in areas with unusable 1 bar signal. It increases the signal to 3 or 4 bars and enables me to watch videos and use the web and do everything pretty quickly. One spot I camped had no signal showing on my phone, so the booster didn’t work there. Overall I like it and its made RV’ing better. Like others have said, you have to put the phone within a few inches of the inside transmitter to get a boosted signal, so I didn’t mount it and just move the transmitter around with me. The cord is pretty long. When I first got the system I mounted the outside antenna to the top of the ladder on the back of my trailer using a swivel mount. This proved unsuccessful as the hot summer sun caused the glue holding the antenna sections together to release and the antenna fell apart while stored in the down position. I glued the antenna back together with JB weld and replaced the swivel mount with a quick disconnect. If you do this be advised the 3/8 inch quick disconnects they sell on amazon are too small, so I had to grind down the antenna stem and rethread it to fit the quick disconnect. I now store the antenna inside the trailer when not in use. I used the included velcro to attach the body of the booster to the wall in my trailer. On the first trip out it detached from the velcro and was hanging by the antenna cable. I now just remove the booster and store it in a drawer prior to traveling.
The company has good customer service. I accidentally pulled an end off the cable that runs from outside to inside, and the company sent me a new cable free of charge. I really appreciate that and I highly recommend this booster.

Great product, measurable results, and AMAZING Customer Service.
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2025We chose this HiBoost cell phone signal booster for our boat, to increase the usefulness of not only our onboard cellular hotspot, to help run onboard security cameras but also boosting the use for our cell phones & tablets. Chose this over other satellite options for many reasons. One of those is the nice option of allowing AC (110V) or DC (12V) power to the booster amp. I used only part of the provided mounting hardware and mounted the receiving/exterior antenna onto the boats arch on an existing old mount, fished its small wire down and into the cabin of the boat, and setup the amp and interior/broadcast antenna.
After setting up the hardware and following the directions on doing the software on my phone, it reveals all these gauges for the different cellular bands. It's a bit confusing or over my head but I was in luck. HiBoost has another trick up its sleeve.
Two people at the company, one via text message (from registering) and another via email, contacted me and worked with me on the setup. Moving the interior antenna slightly further away from the outdoor antenna was the adjustment needed. Helped explain the gauges and graphs after having me share screen shots. The customer service was BEYOND above par. They were on top of things, very responsive and would follow up, even after I mentioned I was taking the boat out of town, I was emailed asking how the unit worked at the other destination.
So I endorse the product, how well it works. I seem to get a constant increase of about 2 bars of signal inside the cabin vs. outside and away from the boat. So that increases my speed and reliability of the connection. If that's not enough, they have the gold standard on customer service that I wish I had with other products. A+ by me.
Good luck with your adventures.

Reliable, huge improvement in cell signal
Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2023This has been great for when we travel in our rv. We often end up in places a bit off the grid so weak cell signals are to be expected. My kids love camping, but there is no way This high-power booster is well designed and has enhanced our cell signal tremendously. It ensures we stay connected no matter where we are. I like that this booster is compatible with all major carriers, we use it with Verizon and it’s been great. The antenna can be adjusted to optimize our signal strength. I like that everything is controlled by an app, it’s user friendly and convenient - we can monitor and adjust our signal strength right from our phone. No more dropped calls, buffering videos, or frustratingly slow internet speeds. It has been very reliable.

Works limited on weak signal
Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2025Customer service has been great… they helped me get the best performance out of system. They even sent out a replacement cable at no cost to me. I can make phone calls, check emails and explore internet… all be it slowly.
Unfortunately for me the nearest —— cellular tower is like 12 miles… so to get as much out of a weak signal as possible is awesome. I’m considering changing carriers.
Maybe I’m not being fair giving only 4 stars, but I was hoping for a bigger boost… but overall all I am happy with purchase, and would buy it again!
Aug 15
After a couple months I wanted to update…
Not real impressed, I have to reboot by unplugging from power at least every other day… as signal boost is dropping to 45-47. After rebooting it will jump back to 50. Unfortunately for me the best I get is a 2 bar boost, but usually just 1 bar. Which isn’t enough to browse internet and definitely not enough to stream any videos.
Reached out to company about getting a directional antenna… was told they don’t sell them separately. If I wanted one I’d have to buy a home kit. Really!
So, don’t make same mistake as me. If you’re in a fixed location in your RV or Trailer buy a home setup. Or buy a WeBoost they sell directional antenna separately.

Best signal booster for the price!
Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2025Great little powerful device! I bought this amplifier mainly for my overlanding adventures! I was able mount it to my front bumper and I'm powering it with my power station 12V inlet so it stays on while the truck is off. I did a couple of trials in my garage that I usually get around 2 bars of 5G signal and to my surprise it went all the way up to 5 bars! Compact, sturdy and powerful! Only time will tell if the antenna will hold on rough terrain.
I will update after next months camping trip to test this out in the woods but for now this deserves 5 stars.

I've had paperweights that worked better than this
Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2025I installed this in my RV and thought that I would get better signal and what I actually got was a worse signal. The first picture (-117) is outside and the second one (-126) is inside. The other 2 are showing that it's working. Well 5 weeks later and unconnecting and reconnecting multiple times I finally got it working, not sure what I did different but it's working. Increases signal without a hitch so far so I bumped to 3 stars from 1 star. I was a little upset to say it mildly.
