New CO 2 and propane detector
Our current alarm has reached the dreaded end of life beep. The manufacture date was 2021 stamped on the back. Ordered a new one and the date on it is 2022. Had to research to be sure it wasn’t a waste of money. Below is what I found. Manufacturing vs. Service Date: The date on the back is the date of manufacture, but the 5-year, 60-month lifespan begins upon installation/powering, according to Forest River and RV Upgrade Store. Arrived new in clear box. Will update if I have any problems.

Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2026Product works as it should but I have a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery 36T with 3 wires. On-line folks are wrong. You cannot cap red/white wire because it is the power supply and it will shut lp solenoid. Wire Red + Red/White together then black to black. Works great! I will add the 12V toggle shutoff switch later
