I am writing this review based on initial impressions as I'm holding off on installing it at the time. I'm concerned about the quality of the supporting components but as return is not an option I may keep this as a spare instead of replacing our current tank style hot water heater. The wire leads on the control unit are not long. The control unit feels cheesy and did not have protective film over the face; it has scratches across the surface whether from the factory of in shipping. If I do install this unit, I will mount the control inside the cabinet behind which our hot water heater is located so I don't have to look at those scratches every day. The shower head and hose are poor quality. The hose seems short and feels flimsy. It does not have a plastic outer protective casing as I've seen with other RV shower hoses. I always am concerned this will be prone to scratching the plastic shower wall enclosure during travel and use. And the shower head itself I consider poorer quality than what ships from the manufacturer with a new RV. The construction of the unit itself seems okay. However, at this point, I do wish I had spent a little more money and stuck to a name brand supplier. Given the corners they cut with the other components, I'm now concerned about not only the longevity but also the overall safety of this unit in my RV.

    We run a logging business, semi full time, and have a remote office trailer we take to various jobs. It gives us a place to do paperwork, cool down/warm up on breaks, etc.... It has full electric with AC and running water. BUT, no hot water.

    Until now. I had this water heater installed in the trailer and we used it recently. The install was extremely easy and very straight forward. The connectors for everything were common connectors and my man had it in place and working in an hour's time.

    The heater works as advertised and is simple to use. After install, I had my guy plumb it into a sink that we use for washing parts, hands, etc.... The sprayer is good for washing off tools, parts, boots, etc.... and even an occasional light shower at day's end.

    For our needs, it does not use a whole lot of propane. A regular propane tank holds roughly 4+ gallons of propane, meaning we should get at LEAST 5 to 6 hours, I bet much more, of heating from one tank. That will take us a long time to use, especially set at 110 degrees.

    In Summary: This heater is well made, its install is simple and its use even simpler.

    Excellent value for a good product.

    This is a great replacement for your tank style water heater, and fits nicely in the 13" X 13" opening that I think is standard on most campers.

    I like that this one has an exterior sprayer for an outside shower or washdown for most anything. These are a direct replacement, and run only on 12v and propane, and are super easy to install. The water connections all seem to be leak free, and the unit functions as it should. The temperature is simple to control with the included remote, and I think the value for the money on this unit is good.

    Deserves 5 Stars! Being off grid, I needed something that would deliver on a large scale without breaking the bank.

    This is not in an RV, I have a shower cabinet I put it in and while it does use 12v to power the electronics, it uses Propane to heat the water instead of needing electricity, which I have a ton of propane, but didn't want something that would drain my solar system just to take shower.

    I simply use two marine batteries for the 12v power part and a strong solar panel to charge the batteries. I have a very large propane tank that supplies the heating portion of the tankless water heater.

    I really like that I can take a shower and then do the dishes.

    Installation was a breeze and the water supply is really endless. It functions perfectly and I really feel it will be reliable beyond measure. This will fit in most cabinets without a problem.

    I wanted this rv tankless water heater for endless hot showers on our camping adventures with the family. The dual outlets deliver instant flow for sink and shower together. It runs efficiently on propane even at higher elevations. The controller makes fine tuning temperature straightforward. A nice surprise is how small the unit fits with its compact door size. It has given us reliable hot water off grid without waiting. We enjoy longer washes after hikes now. The lockable feature keeps it secure during travel. It performs consistently through multiple trips already.

    I finally got this installed and this thing is awesome. I got for an rv and wow, the way they work is amazing and the time it takes to heat water is super quick. I love that it dont need a pilot light at all, it's electronic. It fit a 15x15 size opening and looks great installed. It comes with very clear instructions and took about 2 hours to install with removing the old one. It has a controller and easily programs anything you want the machine to do as far as temp, on and off. Another great feature is the dual outlet so it can be more versatile in applications. This is a great replacement and the cost is the lowest ive ever seen one of these at.
