This was reasonably easy to install. We had to shave 1/4" off the lower edge of the opening in the 5th wheel. It was not an issue and the cover hides the modification.

It produces hot water in just a few seconds and keeps it coming.

We replaced our 7-gallon tank type hot water heater with this one and I'm really looking forward to not having to wait a half hour before someone else can take a shower.

Love this water heater. Works great and uses a lot less propane. No leaking and always have hot water.

8 month update: the hot water heater external seal failed. This caused rain water to get inside and the unit to fail. Very disappointing to spend so much for it to only last 8 months.

As a full timer, this thing is great. Water flow is great, we have a regulator and it’s set at 70 psi and doing well. Temperature control is good. Instal was pretty easy on my 2018 grand design solitude. I did need to made a new base for it, which was fine because my old hot water heater had a leak anyways. Easy peasy. Wiring was pretty simple. Just know you cannot get less than 12 volts. I had an electric supply issue that was getting 11.7 to the temperature controller and it wouldn’t work. It needs the 12 it calls for. I found my issue and it worked just fine. If you’re having issues with the controller not turning on, you know we’re to start. Overall extremely pleased with this upgrade. I can mix my hot and cold at the sink or shower and it doesn’t give me any issues like some cheaper options.

I bought this heater to replace my 6 gallon tank heater and after all of the work installing it the unit did not work. It was an easy install and the return process went well and I received a refund quick. Bought a different brand and it's working great.

I bought a camper this year, and the old 6 gallon water heater was shot, so I decided to put in a tankless. After researching brands and equipment, I came across this one. The reviews looked good, so I decided to give it a shot. It was a perfect fit for the opening on my camper, and was an easy installation, which I did myself. Our first trip out we discovered a leak, but it was my fault for using an incorrect fitting. After we got that corrected, the whole family enjoyed being able to take showers, wash dishes, etc without having to worry about running out of hot water. It's simple to use, gives unlimited water capacity, works great, is simple to use- just set the desired temperature on the keypad, and at several hundred dollars less than the big name brands, was a tremendous value. Would DEFINITELY buy again!!!

The actual size of the opening you will need is 13x13 inches. And the wire for the remote was just a little too short. Otherwise was a breeze to install. I liked the fact that you only had to connect two wires to the power supply. My last water heater was a 6 gallon that had 5 wires coming out of it! Works great. Love not having to worry about running out of hot water when I have plenty of propane.

We upgraded our RV water heater with this amazing KINGRVER tankless. This is the best and most useful upgrade we've ever experienced. The guys installed it without any cutting or cussin'.It fit perfectly in the existing compartment. We're impressed most with consistency of the water flow/ temperature.We can easily adjust water temperature with the controller mounted on the wall. We can shower now without feeling rushed. I'm glad we chose this brand and model because we've seen and used a different heater that doesn't compare well to the KINGRVER tankless. It is seriously worth every dime spent.

Ok. It is finally installed on board a 2002 Winnebago. It replaces the Atwood 6 gallon tanked unit which failed despite my efforts to revive it. I'm going to reserve final judgement until its been in use for a while.

The installation was reasonable, not as straight forward as folks would have you think but, hey, you might be lucky and have the skill set and the tools at your disposal to make it easy.

On first powering it up I got all the results expected and sure enough after a few minutes it was making hot water. One of my principal concerns is going to be the amount of water wasted whilst waiting for the hot to come through. Down, I'm sure, to the length of the awful plumbing installed on this RV, but a concern nonetheless. However, once it is hot the shower temperature only fluctuates a small amount during use, and lends itself to the endless showers of the advertising blurb. Quite how that works when you're not on city water hook up I'm not sure, but it's way better than the certain knowledge that the second shower is going to be less friendly than the first!

Middle of February finds us still with hot water! We're working around the obvious waste of water and find that by combining and planning operations even more than ususal We're able to minimise that waste.

The flow is good and we've adapted to changing the required temperature for different uses. 50°c for dishes and 35° for a shower negates the need to mix cold water into the equation, so making up for the run off before the hot comes through. As for the unit itself, it remains quiet and well behaved.
