We have taken our FlameKing fire pit on over 10,000 miles of road trips camping, nothing beats a nice wood campfire, BUT... this is awesome, can use this quickly, and efficiently, we use at camping festivals and its the best since it complies with zero footprint, leave no trace areas. Plus after listening to music until late night, you can start a fire in a second, no smoke, no sparks, and cools down very quickly so can have a nice fire before bed when camping with zero hassle, highly recommended

Great buy, I've bought two of these because of burn restrictions.

Now that there is basically a burn ban every year all year it really puts a damper on camping! So went camping a couple weeks ago with friends and they pulled one of these out and it made all the difference. Pretty darn close to the real thing, minus the smoke and smelliness and exertion of a real fire. I do miss the crackling but it’s better than not having one. So we had to get us one!! This thing Puts out great heat, we had it in the lowest setting. Love that it has an auto igniter which worked great each time. So easy to use! And we are excited to also use it at home in our backyard, even on our deck!! Love that it comes with a cover and carrying straps! The user manual it comes with is for a different brand of fire ring so doesn’t apply. Which is weird! but it’s really easy to use so no biggie at all. Also we were able to cook our hot dogs and s’mores easily over it and they were very tasty!!

Great purchase gives off heatnit just ambiance of fire pit. So convenient to just shut off gas pit top I. And walk away without worrying about embers Would definitely purchase again

Been using this a little over 2 months, a bout 5 times in 2 months. While the comments about defects or damage in the paint are true, I had a chip in the paint on rim and the flame king logo is not well painted, in fact at first glance, I thought I received a used product. But on closer inspection realized that was not the case, just a bad paint job on the "Flame King" logo, I think it is still worth the price. I got barley enough lava rocks to cover the element, had to use the extra bag too, would be nice to have enough rock with out having to use the "Extras." Heat out put is decent, for cool summer nights, we'll have to see about fall and I thought I wanted a bigger pit, but the size is perfect, for me couple of friends and neighbors.

A great replacement when a campfire isn't permitted. It's fairly large, but puts out decent heat above the level of the metal bowl. Incredibly easy to setup. Nice long gas hose so you can keep the tank away from the fire and concealed. Definitely worth it.

Great little fire pit, kids love cooking their hot dogs and marshmallows around it.

Warms the area and just cut the gas and it’s off. Very convenient.

The product itself is great! Easy to set up and use, gives off great heat.

They sent a used one, though, instead of a brand new one, which was a bit troublesome.

The Flame King fire pit was damage upon delivery. Very unsatisfied with the customer service, getting the run around from both Amazon and Flame King.

Paint was bubbling and peeling when i opened it. It works but looks like crap. The lid is warped and doesn't sit properly. Not happy with this purchase.
