First of all, don’t read any of the one or 2 star reviews on this product, or you never will make a buying decision and you will talk yourself right out of buying one in the first place. I would call them primers or bogus claims to level out the review averages. We received the TurBro fire pit yesterday, New Year’s Eve at our mail room on the way to dinner. I couldn’t wait to get home to try it out!

To start, a monkey missing a thumb could assemble this thing. Great instructions and very well packaged. Awesome storage bag. Super easy to move around. The folding legs keep the bottom of the pit far from the surface. You can put your hand under it at full flame and see there would be no damage to the patio even if it is wood.

Not quite smokeless. I started the fire with some pine scrap lumber and grill fire starters. Flames up QUICK! I was putting 3-4 inch diameter logs on it and they caught immediately. I made the mistake of using wood that was not seasoned well, and the pine also put off some black smoke. The burning performance of the stove is unlike anything I’ve ever had. Burnt everything into a fine ash. Took all of 30 seconds to dump into a bucket and clean. Tonight I will be using only seasoned wood and leaving my patio fans off. The smoke I got was from the trash wood I used, plus my patio fans blowing down on the stove. The flame does go straight up just like they advertised. The heat also goes up and does not radiate too far out, which I personally like. You can sit closer to the fire without melting your soles.

All in all this is a great addition to add to the ambiance of our custom home. Cannot be beaten in price or performance! All in I paid $122; by signing up for an Amazon store card with an $80 gift card incentive and another $20 coupon at checkout. I can honestly state I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to many relaxing evenings on our patio, sipping wine and enjoying a fork cooked hot dog or some marshmallows.

It's not smoke free, but I didn't expect it to be. Way better than the open system that came with my table. Amazing heat and more efficient. Way less smoke to the point my wife can now join me without smelling of smoke. I got the black one. It's still stainless where it counts. The for has to get going before the wood has its emitted for the second burn effect. Makes a beautiful flame effect. I plan to clean it out and protect it from the elements after use to see how long it lasts. Materials seem solid quality though. Don't think I'll need a deflector, plenty radiating heat from this can! Keep the fuel below the vents. Glad I didn't spend extra $150 on premium name. Easy set up, folding legs are great idea. Definitely portable with included bag. Get ur own poker though.

Excellent product for a great prices. Works as well and looks indistinguishable from other big brand offerings, which come at substantially higher cost.

I am really happy with this fire pit. Don't let the price compared to other options fool you, it is great quality. Its 2 piece design makes it super easy to clean. The covering it comes with has also been out in the elements for a whole year at this point and has not degraded. The pit burns logs and other fuel super efficient and puts out a lot of heat. I was initially skeptical of this whole "fancy fire pit" idea, but I am impressed at how much less smoke comes out of it when it's going full tilt.

While I rated the Turbro heat deflector two stars, the actual smokeless fire pit is awesome! It’s 5-star. Really strong and well-built. Great nesting design for efficient storage in camper. Love this product…. wish their heat deflector (purchased from company separately) wasn’t so disappointing (panels didn’t fit snuggly together flat, and screws didn’t thread properly).

Puts out great heat. Very easy to assemble, comes with a carrying bag, easy to clean and use. This is a substantial size for the cost. I’ve used it quite a few times. I feel it is safer for backyard use than a regular fire pit.

It is definitely smokeless unless you put something with moisture into it. I like it so much that I ordered one for a family member!

I've never experienced a solo stove, so I can't compare, but that's what I was originally shopping for when I came across this item. I figured I'd try this out since it looks almost identical and a lot of reviews say it's basically the same but cheaper. My fam and I love it! Very easy to put together and take apart and relatively easy to move around. It gives off a nice amount of heat with minimal smoke. We use it on our wood deck and the bottom stays pretty cool. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it had handles on the side

I wasn't sure how this fire pit would perform versus the more well-known smokeless pits, but this has exceeded expectations. It's got solid construction (we've even poured water into this to kill embers and there's been no warping) and it performs as advertised. I appreciate the storage bag for easy transport around the backyard whenever we want a fire. Something to note is that, due to its airflow design, it won't emanate as much heat towards you (if you're sitting around it) as traditional pits. However, it's still great to have in the crisper fall months.

Great fire pit, much more cost effective than the name brand. Smokeless as advertised once it’s going and burns hot. Definitely go through more wood quicker but it’s got a great collapsible design and built in legs

Unfortunately 5 stars is the most I can give this product cause it definitely deserves more. Fire starts up quick and easy and becomes smokeless within minutes! After its started the pit puts out extreme amounts of heat. Even at its hottest temperature you can still slide your hands under the bottom which is good because you don’t have to worry about burning whatever is under the pit. Super strong pit and heavy duty packaging. No scratches to the paint or damage to the metal upon arrival!

Aufbau:

recht simpel, mit kleinen Stickern beschriftet und eine Anleitung inkl. Hülle zum verstauen liegt bei.

Die erste Benutzung:

Holz stapeln und entzünden, die ersten 3-5 Minuten raucht es noch ordentlich wie bei jeder herkömmlichen Feuerstelle auch, sobald das Feuer einmal brennt dann ist es annähernd rauchfrei, das habe ich auch bemerkt da die Kleidung nicht so stark nach rauch stinkt.

Das holz verbrennt effizient und nahezu rückstandsfrei, auch ist er nicht sonderlich windempfindlich.

Man kann ihn mit den Füßen bedenkenlos in der Wiese stehen lassen, diese wird nur handwarm und wird das ohne schaden überstehen.

Wärmeverteilung:

Diese ist definitiv anders als bei herkömmlichen Feuerstellen, die Hitze konzentriert sich mehr nach oben und strahlt nicht so stark an den Seiten, ggf. wäre ein Heat Reflektor noch ein sinnvolles Zubehör.

Fazit:

Empfehlenswert, die Qualität ist gut für den Preis vergleichbar mit der Konkurrenz. Nachteil weniger Zubehör, das ist bei der Konkurrenz allerdings völlig überteuert.

Wer eine einfache funktionale Feuerstelle haben will die möglichst wenig Rauchentwicklung verursacht wird hier definitiv fündig werden.
