  6. How did we get our start?

    Just a few short months after starting a storm shelter business our gooseneck dump bed trailer with $40K worth of equipment was stolen from a secure site. The thieves cut through 3 heavy chains on the entry gate and then 2 logger chains running through the frame of the trailer and fastened to concrete blocks which had been poured into the ground. Heavy bolt cutters were used to defeat the chains and heavy-duty locks. We told ourselves - "this can't happen again" and we spared no expense in creating a new lock system for couplers so this would not happen again.

No Nonsense Approach to Trailer Security!!!

The Gooseneck Round Tube Coupler Lock is an ultra-high security coupler lock with a straightforward design which fully encompasses the gooseneck coupler latch. Included is Trimax puck locks with a hidden-shackle padlock features a 2-7/8" wide lock body that conceals a 3/8" diameter shackle to prevent theft.

The Ft. Knox Gooseneck Round Tube Couple Lock fits the majority of round tube gooseneck. This beast of a coupler lock is constructed of 3/16" fully welded cold rolled steel, with welded hinges and hinge pins. The surround hasp application accepts all standard "puck" style locks and provides additional safety and security. Time, noise, power tools or a cutting torch will be required to defeat our lock design which will eliminate most theft interest. We believe in presenting a “hard target” that is why this high-quality durable coupler lock has a heavy yellow powder coat finish, which screams "stay away."

This heavy-duty, two-part system coupler lock is easy to use and install. The two-part application comprises of a coupler lock box and a high security Trimax puck lock, which comes with three key To install you simply close the coupler lock around the coupler, place the puck lock over the tabs of the hasp and lock it. Your trailer is now protected by the Gold Standard in trailer locks security.

    I feel this is pretty secure, I use it on a 3 car wedge gooseneck trailer and the only thing I don't like is that its not a tight fit, other than that its fine.

    This is by far the best gooseneck lock I have ever seen! Impervious to bolt cutters for sure! I am considering running a couple of weld beads to permanently attach the adjustable neck to the trailer because removing and replacing the entire neck is the only way that you are going to get around this lock.
