Absolutely fantastic rear monitor that I bought specifically for our cross-country trip in a 16’ Penske rental box truck. These trucks have no rear vision, which is scary, but this camera/monitor device solved the problem FLAWLESSLY.

The setup was ridiculously simple, the fully-charged camera connected immediately to the in-cabin monitor (I couldn’t believe it). The camera has a super-strong magnet that clamped perfectly onto the back bumper of the truck and didn’t budge the whole trip (I attached a safety wire from the bumper to a hole on the camera just in case it fell off, but it was not necessary). The picture quality was shockingly good too. There’s also a very good windshield suction mount for the plug-in monitor screen. Even if I never use this again, it was worth every penny.

I bought this camera to use while operating my tractor. It worked great the wireless capability and the solar charging makes the installation of this system extremely simple. I have used the wired units on my prior tractor and it is significant job to route all of the wires and get everything working. Getting this camera to work was a walk in the park. The magnet is very strong and it is very easy to change locations to optimize operation. The resolution is good for a well priced system. After over a year of using it, I moved the camera to the tractor's backhoe to get a better view behind it. Recently, I was operating the backhoe and I inadvertently knocked it off. Didn't realize it right away and I lost it. I liked the camera, so I reached out so see if I could replace. The response was immediate and they have provided a replacement already! More than impressed! One of the concerns is always about support after the sale, this is not the case here. Highly recommend the camera and the vendor. Thanks again!!!!

I got this so that I could see behind the trailer when backing up. I only used it when I got to the destination. I went behind the trailer to put it on the spare tire (is very magnetic and stuck it to the metal part) and backed it right in. The spot where we park, I need to back in, and it’s an odd driveway because the angle of it. Been struggling for years. This was a one time try and done. Was wonderful. My husband said that it was worth the money, since it was so fast and easy backing into the driveway. The instructions were easy to follow. The clarity/color of the video/feed was really good. Field of vision was very nice, as you could adjust it with simple interface commands. Overall made for a safe, easy and fast backup and drop of the trailer.

This magnetic solar backup camera has been a game changer for our RV! Super easy setup with no complicated wiring, and the magnetic mount made installation take just minutes. The solar charging works great and keeps the camera powered without constantly worrying about batteries.

The picture quality on the screen is clear day and night, and the signal stays strong even while driving. It makes backing into campsites and parking so much less stressful. We’ve used it on multiple trips already and it’s been reliable every time.

This camera is definitely not 1080p HD. It is maybe a step below that so it is not terrible, just not as advertised in the title. The night vision kicks on automatically which is nice and is in better quality than the normal daylight vision.

There is a bit of a lag between the camera and the monitor but it is not bad either.

I did notice the monitor is not as responsive as I would like. You sometimes have to press the buttons multiple times before it registers but once again, not the biggest deal.

I do love the fact the camera has solar panels as well as the fact the monitor can plug into the cigarette lighter for plenty of power. It can also plug into a solar generator like our Jackery for flexibility.

I would recommend this camera as an in between for a more expensive and better quality one. It seems like it will get the job done for us as we will be mounting it on the back of our Ford Econoline.

I’ve purchased several backup cameras in the past, including some with dash cams, but they all ended up breaking or failing to record. I’ve been using this one on my van for a little over a month now, and it is exactly what I was looking for.

I had a three-level spinal fusion in my lower back about a year ago, and because of it, I cannot turn around enough to see out the back window. I have to rely on my mirrors, so I needed a camera that would give me a full, wide view of everything behind me. This camera is perfect for that. The picture is very clear, and the view is adjustable, so you can set it to show how far a car is behind you or widen it out to see all oncoming traffic. It spans several lanes, giving me a clear view of the right lane and the other lanes at the same time.

The system has a dual-camera function, but the view from just one camera is so wide and clear that I haven't even needed to install the second one yet. The magnetic mount made the setup a breeze with no wiring required—which was great since I didn't want to deal with a difficult installation.

It’s important to note that this doesn't have all the "fancy" features or complex controls you might find elsewhere. It’s a simple, straightforward setup. I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet or how the company’s customer support will be, but as of right now, it is working perfectly and providing the safety I needed. If you want a reliable, high-definition constant view of the road, I highly recommend this.

We picked up this magnetic solar wireless backup camera for our travel trailer, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The installation really was as easy as advertised—took about a minute with no wiring, and the magnetic mount feels secure without scratching anything.

The 7" screen is clear and easy to see, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of lag in the video feed—it feels almost real-time, which makes backing up much less stressful. The solar charging is also a huge plus since we don’t have to worry about constantly recharging it.

Overall, it’s made maneuvering our trailer so much easier and safer. Highly recommend for anyone towing or using a trailer!

The pros are it’s very convenient having the Wi-Fi camera. I have a 2007 Pontiac torrent obviously no rearview cameras on that thing. The magnets are super strong on the back of the camera so strong that I can go through the car wash and it doesn’t knock it off. It has a nice big screen and when hooked up, there’s almost no time lag in the picture which is convenient of course when you’re backing up, that’s not as big a deal, but you can also use it while driving down the road. It really upgrades the car to being like a new car with advanced backup camera features. Plug plugs into the cigarette lighter although highly recommended with older cars you get a controller that turns off the cigarette lighter power when you turn the key off since most don’t otherwise you have to unplug it or remember to hit the switch off. The camera, the Wi-Fi connection, and the speed of which it updates is top of the line.

Now the cons

I almost gave this four stars because of the cons. For some reason when I initially got it, I could not get it to charge pass two bars on the external back camera component you can charge it manually, which should they recommend and then the solar panel should take over from then on. But for almost a month it stayed at two bars now it always worked, but it never failed to work, but that didn’t seem quite right, especially sometimes during the day it would be charging all day long without the car, even moving and still have two bar bars. It also has a port for an additional solar panel that you can put like on the roof of the car. OK maybe I’ll get that. Now here’s where the bad part is. I wrote the company and ask about the additional solar panel component which they don’t seem to sell on Amazon even though it has the port for it and ask them why it doesn’t go above two bars. They never even bother to answer me so tech-support is nonexistent. Now, having continued to use this all of a sudden, it started charging up to four bars on its own with just a solar panel no idea why took over a month for it to figure out how to do that by itself. But still no response from tech-support and no way to buy the additional solar panel.

So I still gave it five stars because it’s really nice to have in an older car. Don’t expect any help from the manufacturer.

Nice piece of kit

Arrived well packed and looks to be of high quality manufacture. One star less as it sounded from the description that it came with a metal mounting plate for the magnetic camera - it doesn't. I'll need to make something to mount it on.

The supplied (US) charger didn't work but it's charging fine with my own charger.

Switched everything on and the connection was instant, the image is Chrystal clear and pin sharp. I'm looking forward to installing and using this in our RV.

Update: Back from 6 week trip with our RV and this camera worked perfectly and I would highly recommend it. I had to use the monitor bracket to mount the camera (magnet sticks very well to it) stuck it onto rear of RV with strong double sided tape, the advertised metal plate for mounting was not included in the box!

This rearview camera and 7-inch monitor set is a significant upgrade over previous systems I have tried on my travel trailer in several ways. Being solar powered means no tapping into RV wiring. The dual antennas for the monitor means no more "snow" particles, jerky images or loss of signal. Just steady on. The colours are faithful. Resolution great. Easy to navigate on-screen menu.

I had to affix a rectangular steel plate to the rear of the trailer up towards the top for the camera's magnetic base. As others say, the magnet pulls the camera out of your hands as you close in on the steel. It's not going to move!

Customer support is excellent. They have replied promptly to questions I had.

Pemacom has released a newer version. I would recommend either the 2024 model or their new one assuming it's at least as good if not better.

The camera unit is excellent but customer promised service and support is very poor!

This setup is just what I needed and is very useful. I have a trailer which is towed behind my truck where I can’t see on each side on account of the trailer width. This setup is easy to install but one must read ALL the instructions; this will benefit in the long run. The magnet mounted behind the camera is very strong and stays installed with no issues. My trailer is made of aluminum so I installed an iron plate on the inside to hold the camera in place just behind the magnet. The monitor is very clear and all the functions work as stated. Recommended purchase.
