I was really excited to receive this "upgraded" thermostat. Problem is, other than having a digital display its every bit as cheap as what came in my unit. The quality is just not good. Extremely thin. The temperature up down buttons float around internally so trying to replace the cover and get the buttons lined up with the cover slots was a hassle. Doesn't really click back into place without a fight either. Seemed to be secure once you get it there. Very easy to hook up and did function correctly. I hesitate to call it an upgrade. To the touch it also feels cheap, pushing the buttons feels cheap. The display is not backlit so depending where your thermostat is located you may be better off with the white lettering you may currently have as I did. If you need a replacement, this will definitely fit that bill. If you need an "upgrade", I'm not sure this would be it.

    This is a great little upgrade that looks much cleaner and more modern on the wall than the old analog versions. The digital screen is bright and very easy to read, even in the middle of the night without turning on all the RV lights.
