All thermostats, fireplace furnaces, and other temperature control-related products use low-sensitivity sensors for a better user experience. The focus is on maintaining a comfortable temperature range rather than sacrificing user experience for numerical precision, so there’s no need to be overly concerned with small fluctuations.
- This thermostat should be installed by trained technicians only.
- Adhere to all local and national codes and ordinances.
- Disconnect all power to the system before installing, removing, or cleaning.
INSTALLING THE THERMOSTAT
Please note:
Any specialized thermometer uses a high-sensitivity sensor, which can quickly detect temperature changes, but it also comes with a larger inherent margin of error.
The thermostat’s temperature sensor is a low-sensitivity sensor. When the temperature is stable, it can provide more accurate readings after 15-30 minutes. The advantage of this is that it creates a comfortable temperature range without frequently turning on and off in a short period.
- Place the thermostat mounting bracket against the wall where the thermostat will be mounted.
- Using supplied screws,affix the thermostat mounting bracket to the wall.
- Connect thermostat wiring to the motorcoach wiring.
- Place the thermostat on the mounting bracket and gently slide the thermostat down to lock the thermostat onto the mounting bracket.
- Turn on power to the thermostat.

After I was finally done screwin' around getting the wires BARELY connected in the back, I connected 12 volt power and tested. Everything functioned properly but it's 6 degrees off. I tested it against two thermometers, one pictured, one outside in the shade. Both other therms read 72, thermostat reads 66. Unacceptable. Spend the extra money and get something better. I will be returning.
