This review is for the white units with the fan.

Let’s start with the pros: Aesthetically, it’s nice. Looks great installed. Decent quality for a lower cost unit. It operates okay and will probably hold up for a while. It comes with 1/4” head stainless steel screws for the roof. Probably 1 1/4” long, give or take a 1/4”. It installed easily enough and I look forward to using it.

There is a list of cons (or maybe just gripes): I’m not super happy with the low profile baffle being the only option. Yes, you can buy aftermarket ones that you can trim, but it would be nice if they at least offered that so I wouldn’t have had to drop an extra $20/ea. The white trim screws it came with for the baffle are so short. Like are we getting any meat with this thing at all? Thankfully I had some that worked.

The screws that came with the crank handle are too long. I had to trim them down because otherwise the handle wobbles. Those are stainless steel machine screws, so not very soft for cutting and you risk messing up the threads (I’m a professional, so I had the right tools). One could use a small washer with the screw potentially. I wasn’t going to mess with that for aesthetic purposes.

If you get the unit with a fan, it’s kind of noisy, but not in a fan being a fan kind of way. More like the motor is annoying. Suppose that can be replaced, but again with the aftermarket parts for a unit I just bought.

Side note: These are very light filtering. I’m happy with that, but thought I should pass that along. I’d guess 90%+ light blockage. *Obviously when they’re opened that’s not the case.

Gripes aside, I am happy with the purchase overall. Was fine putting in the extra elbow grease for the lower price. The only thing I’m docking one star for is the fan noise.

So far so good. Easy installing. Had to buy tape to seal but no issues. Only had half of the screws needed but used the old ones and no issues. Wanted to reuse my old trim on the inside which green to match the interior but it did not line up. The white looks nice but can tell it's not original. Not a big deal. So far works good. Thank you.

Poor quality product. Vent opens with wind and will not stay closed while traveling. Hand crank does not work properly and handle falls off vent while traveling. The fan switch does not work. Do not waste your money. Vents were opening by themselves during a wind storm. This product put us in a bind while camping. Had to duct tape the vents closed to stop rain from getting into camper.

Replaced the rooftop ac unit on my pop up camper with this little fan. Good fit and works great.

Bought one in 2023 no Problems.

Bought second one in Sept 2024 , the Vents don’t come with Sealing putty you have to buy separately, has 24 mounting Holes only sent 14 screws had to buy additional Screws . Last the Fan did not work bypassed switch fan does work now, but Ness to go out and buy a new Switch for the Fan to Operate correctly!

It works but...it allows no sunlight in, the screen can't be removed so you have to get on the roof and clean it and the clear plastic fan blade through the open lid, the fan switch is of dime store quality, (Very small) the garnish ring is too short as are the screws to hold it up.

Works great for the price. Install was simple. Only wish it had full fan not single to move some more air. Low power consumption on my battery.

I bought the Livpow roof vent with reversible fan, it arrived on the day i expected it, product was pretty good and fits my camper perfectly, it works very well including the reverse fan, would buy one again if it didn't have a rusty thread for the hatch winder, was not able to get supplied screw in so may have to glue it in place, quality control needs to step up and make sure everything works as it should.
