Replaced our old fan with this one. It was easy to install, and we love having the remote control. Very quiet, and works great to bring in the cold air, and take out the warm.

I’m writing this review early but so far I have been very impressed with this fan. I was looking at getting the much more expensive popular talked about on YouTube fan that everyone puts on their vans and campers but I don’t wanna spend $400 for a fan so I bought this instead. So far the rain sensor works great. I like the speed controls on the fan 10 speeds on exhaust or intake. I thought it was gonna be five and five. Overall for a quarter of the price great fan my only complaint and is the stupid one. Is that the remote is not back lit. If they put out a version of this with a back remote, it’d be perfect.

Also, if you have any do it yourself experience, you can install this fan. The hardest part was getting on the roof and taking the old caulking off. It was a very easy install.

I did just have to modify the old piece that was already up in my ceiling, but that was my choice because I didn’t wanna wait on them to ship it to me. I was under the impression that they had another one that might fit. I didn’t wanna wait I’m mechanically inclined enough to make it work

These fans are AWESOME! If I could give 10 stars I would. For my RV, I now have three of these fans installed and I have so much control over the inside air. With an RV and the small built in windows there is a disadvantage of controlling air exchange. You end up over spending on AC, often. These fans totally create the exact environment you want. Air can come in or be taken out. Speeds are ranked as percentages so can be fine tuned. The remote is a little tricky, but I can now do it in the dark. My first one had an annoying "on" blue light that I had to tape over, but the two I just bought only have a small green light. (Important to my picky husband). It is not completely silent, but quieter than the Fantastic Fans we replaced. I also got the warranty. The first fan purchased stopped working just a month out of the free warranty period. A friend had the purchased warranty and had no trouble getting a replacement. The price is very reasonable. I have not received any perks of any kind for posting this review.

This fan is the exact same fan as the one I had previously, just a different "brand". The lift arm on my old fan broke and I replaced it, then the lid motor on it started having problems. I'm not sure what was going on with it, there's a possibility it could have been repaired but I'd already ordered this fan and the return window had closed before I talked one of the guys into looking at it for me, so instead we just installed a new one.

I do want to be fair to the durability of these fans ... We've been living full time in the camper for the last 4 years and I've had this fan for the last 3 years. The lid has been lifted and closed a minimum of 2x daily for the last 3 years. So if you aren't full time it will last for many years I'm sure. I think something was in a bind and that's what was causing my issues. So even if you are full time it will likely work for many years.

The only difference I've noticed between this fan and the other fan is that this fan's lid lift motor is much quieter than the other one.

The only other difference is that the remote for this fan is comically large. I was excited to use the mounting bracket for the remote but unfortunately the bracket they sent does not fit the remote. It does, however, fit my old remote like a glove. I'll attach a couple of pictures of the remotes. The white remote is my old one and the black remote is the new one. You are unable to put the new remote fully into the bracket. So now I have to find a place to put this comically large remote.

Other than that, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, these are a huge upgrade over the cheap fans most campers come with that fail miserably at moving air. We have no issues with moisture in the bathroom when showering and when it's nice out it draws a ton of air in through the open windows. Until it gets really hot this summer, this fan is my air conditioner!

I Installed this in a toy hauler I'm converting into a camper. Install was incredibly easy. It operates quitely. The 3 things that I will comment on are first the Rain sensor feature has to be manually turned on every single time you use the fan. Second, other options have a simple one click to turn the fan on, open the hatch, and enable the rain sensor. Other than that it's really a solid product. I'm happy with it.

These things are a must have! My camper had the old small fans that were so loud you could not hear yourself think. These vent to fans really move air and you have the option to control the air flow in or out and the fan is quiet. Wish I would have installed these things when I purchased the camper highly recommend and would buy again in a heartbeat

Seems to be a medium quality vent and fan combo. It was fairly easy to install, it gets a little tricky when hooking up the electric wires. I replaced a non-fan vent with this one and it fit just fine. I wish the lid was not translucent because a lot of sun gets through which defeats the purpose of the fan. There is not a lot of air flow with this fan but it's better than not having one. I like the idea of the remote, but it's unnecessarily complicated with the led display on the remote. The price is a little high for the quality. The power up/down works well and I like the rain sensor, that also worked well when it started to sprinkle. Overall, would not buy this one again.

This is an awesome upgrade from my original vent. It works great. I highly recommend this vent.

Once the old vent fan was removed (that was the longest part of the job), the new one was easy to install. Sizing the body was easy -- I just made a deep score and could bend and snap the plastic. The fan itself is very quiet (especially compared to the old 4 or 6" fan). Typically, I just set it at 10% and that's perfect for me. Cooking smells (yes we cook indoors), are quickly removed even at the 10% setting -- far better and more efficient than the noisy exhaust fan over the stove (even though that does vent to outside. The rain sensor actually worked.

if you've used the MAXXAIR II Vent Cover, that won't work for you very well, since the cover wont allow the vent fan lid to open all the way.

I'm very pleased with the new fan, although, the remote hasn't work once or twice in a week of use. Also, the battery cover on the remote doesn't really close snugly. It doesn't pop open, just doesn't seem lined up or so.
