Did in the egg smell from tank on my living quarter horse trailer.
I had my living quarter horse trailer winterized by an RV service last year and tanks supposedly drained completely. After opening the trailer for the spring, filling the water tank, I took it out on the road for the day. When I walked in the living quarter I smelled a slight bad egg odor that would've had to have come from the potable water tank and up from the toilet and sink. I think driving all day, braking, accelerating, sloshed the tank around enough it exposed some possible foul odors from bacteria. I used one ounce of this treatment in the 20 gal potable water tank. As it pours you can see a slight viscosity in it, but it has no smell or aroma at all. You'll probably need a funnel, but I simply used a 35cc syringe to squirt the product down the hole. I left the trailer open to air out BTW. We just got back from a short trip out of state, and the living quarter has lost that odor smell and it has not returned. This bottle will go a long way for us since we only have the 20 gal tank. I never drink the water, but nice to know if no other choice I'm going to be a heck of a lot safer than before!
