Really Nice unit. It comes well packaged and the build quality is significantly higher than many of the cheaper ones you find in big box stores. I also really appreciate the smart design. The two vent hoses nest neatly on the back of the unit. You just pull away and extend the flexible hoses when in use. It comes with all the accessories you could need for installing the window mount. As far as performance, as an initial test I just brought it outside on my screened porch. In 86 ambient temp, it is blowing 59 degrees measured on the outlet. Im confident this will have the cooling power to keep a decent sized room very comfortable even in 90+ temps. Its also very quiet. Even on turbo, its not bad at all. Regular running noise is very quiet. I got this in advance of what will be a very hot summer in the south! Inevitably, the ac will go out or freeze over at some point. Nice to know I've got this unit on hand just in case. On a side note, the wheels on this unit are great! Ive had a few of these before where the wheels were terrible. Its not a small unit, so having solid wheels will be very helpful in moving it around!

    Super easy to set up, works great to keep the master bed room cool. Electricity is expensive, so on those hot summer nights, it really a waste to keep the whole house cool with the central AC unit. It is relatively easy to set up if you have access to a window. There is a bit of planning and measuring to do, but not difficult at all. You have to make sure the window vents are set up nicely so all the heated exhaust will be vented outside. It plugs into a regular outlet and didn't pop any breakers, so that was a good thing. It puts out a lot of cold air and is relatively quiet if you have it on a lower setting. The only "hassle" is that you have to drain the unit when the reservoir gets full of water, but this is just A/C units in general. I had this unit working in the master bed room all last summer. Almost time to set up the unit again for this year. I plan on raising the unit up onto a platform and having it drain into a bucket or something, but that is still to be determined. Overall, this unit works great. It is quiet and more economical then cool the whole hose with the central A/C.

    My husband and I have been using this GE Profile portable AC for over 4 months now. We originally got it to keep our bedroom comfortable for us and our small 6 lb dog. Honestly, it's easily the quietest and fastest-cooling portable AC we’ve ever owned.

    The white design looks really clean in the room. The Wi-Fi feature is amazing. I can just use the app to turn it on while we're out, so the room is already nice and cool by the time we get home. The built-in dehumidifier is a huge plus too.

    Also, huge shoutout to GE's customer service. We ran into an issue while using it recently, and they were super fast and helpful in getting it sorted out.

    We really like it, but here are two quick things to know before buying:

    1. It is incredibly heavy. It weighs over 70 lbs, so you definitely need two adults to lift or move it safely.

    2. The thermostat sensor isn't super accurate. We keep two independent digital thermometers in our room. I’ve noticed the room often gets noticeably warmer than the AC's set temp before it finally kicks on. The app temperature also doesn't perfectly match our actual room, so you just have to play around with the settings to find the right spot.

    Bottom line: Despite being heavy and having a slight sensor delay, this is a phenomenal 3-in-1 machine. If you just want strong, quiet cooling with smart features, it's absolutely worth it.

    I have been looking for an inverter portable air conditioner with dual flexible hoses. I love intervert a/c because it is quieter and more energy efficient - but the ones we have are made with a single two-chamber wide hose that is not flexible and has to be placed right in front of the window with little wiggle room. I was excited to find this GE air conditioner with everything I wanted. It is a good deal for an inverter air conditioner. I added an isolated cover to the outtake house - which makes it even more efficient. I look forward to using this a lot during the hot California summer

    Update : This stopped working after a few weeks of use. The air compressor gave out and it only blows hot air. I tried to contact the company but it is GE China and very difficult to contact.

    I was debating on four or five stars because it does feel like it takes longer to cool a room than my last unit BUT everything else is so amazing that I couldn't do it. The fact that it handles de humidification is such a big win compared to having to set that up separately. When you want something to be portable you want it all together and this takes the cake.

    Not super big considering all that it can do and amazing for frequent use as everything is connected. When you're done with it all of the attachments can stay together and the hoses for the exhaust shrink right down on the back. That is such an enormous headache solved!

    I don't find that the fan creates much noise at all. I wouldn't want to be sitting directly next to it, especially at full blast, but I could say that about any fan. Keeps the air cool, does a solid job without fail, and super easy to set up. If you have a strangely shaped window you may have to fumble with a bit of foam to make sure you get a full seal but it's the easiest portable air conditioner I've tried by far!

    I was not prepared for this to come in a box labeled team lift. The instructions recommend that it be set up by two people but I was able to install it alone without any damage.

    It’s not too loud. At its highest setting the noise level is comparable to a box fan. My cats don’t seem to notice the noise.

    The instructions include a video which made assembly easy. The unit works well to cool the entire room of my Southern California apartment. The unit itself can be tucked away out of sight.

    Most nights the lowest setting works well for me but on especially hot days I pump it up to the higher settings. I like that I can control it from the unit itself or with the remote but the remote has to be aimed right at it and can only be used from about 10 feet away. I haven’t noticed a difference in air quality other than that the air is cooler.
