Weak Pressure, Inconsistent Flow, and Would Not Shut Off
Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2026I purchased this pump as a replacement to a Shurflo Blaster II freshwater pump for my boat and was disappointed with its performance.
From the beginning, the pressure was weak, the flow was inconsistent, and the pump would frequently spit air through the fixtures. The biggest issue was that the pump would not properly shut off and remain off after the system was pressurized, even when no fixtures were being used, -clearly a pressure switch fail.
After extensive troubleshooting, I replaced it with a SEAFLO 55 Series pump. The difference was immediate. Pressure was significantly stronger, flow became smooth and consistent, the air spitting disappeared, and the pump properly shut off and stayed off when the system was not in use.
Based on my experience, this pump did not perform as expected and was ultimately removed and replaced.
