I’m a full time livaboard on a 44 foot trawler. My previous on demand water pump died because of the pressure switch. I had it about two years. This time I was willing to pay more for hopefully a better pump. Time will tell. I’ve only had it a couple weeks. It has a 4 year warranty which I registered on line. (Very simple) installation was very straightforward. No surprises. The two things I liked immediately was, just how quiet it was. The old one you could hear throughout the boat. This one can barely hear in the bathroom on the other side of the bulkhead it’s mounted on. The second one is the pressure. After living most of my life on a boat I just got use to slightly low water pressure. This one has house water pressure or slightly more, even though it’s rated the same as my old one. Reliability I don’t know yet. If I have problems I’ll update it.

I have this pump mounted to a wood frame to pump water from my home's well to irrigate my potatoes and black raspberries. When I can babysit it, I connect it to a 12-volt automotive battery. This battery is recharged by a 100W Renogy solar panel, controlled by a small charge controller. The specs of this pump said the maximum head lift is 9-feet, so I cut the siphon (inlet) tubing 9-feet long. The water level in my well is about 9-feet below ground, so it was barely long enough to reach. I added another 5-feet of tube and found that it pumps water and mostly maintains a prime, although sometimes it'll lose the prime and stop pumping. So far, I'm pleased with its performance.

bought this to replace shurflo 3.0 gpm pumpmin my rv. had room to install but itnis so much more powerful that i needed to return it because the draw down on my house batteries was too much once solar was no longer charging. once the batts fell to 12.5v or less, the pump would not automatically turn off even when water valves were closed. it mentions needing full power when running but normally12.5 can sufficiently run pumps we have been using for decades for a few minutes without problrms. however, this one can draw 15amps max, almost twice what shurflo draws. so without shore power or genset running when off grid after sundown, it could run a battery bank down quite a bit if showering, even short ones, when you have no active charging going on. if hooked up all the time and charger is on, it would be a quality addition to the rv. however, unless you have a large battery bank when offgrid, which we do often in summer, it is overkill.

Works great on our sprayer just hoping to get a little more life out of this one last one only lasted 2 years

got this to replace the 11 year old shurflo 3.5 gpm pump that i am pretty sure came with my trailer. thing was having all sorts of issues and it had a constant problem of "surging" pressure whenever you turned something on because of the pump cycling on and off. taking showers SUCKED assuming you could even get a whole shower in before the check valve decided to lock up and have 0 pressure. overall just a bad time with the ol shurflo

enter this bad boi. coupled with a seaflo accumulator tank and my water pressure is DEAD NUTS ON 60 PSI at all times. i even put a gauge on there to be sure. all my faucets have excellent flow and pressure on the pump like it was hooked to city water! showers are PERFECT with no weird "surging" from the pump cycling. it's also much quieter which is wild considering this pump is bigger!

since i wasn't sure if it had its own check valve, i installed one in-line on the vacuum side. if you do install a check valve, THAT'S WHERE IT GOES. trust me. i put it between the accumulator and pump and the pump didn't want to fully shut off, and the pressure was a whole 5 psi higher than it should be. swapped it around and all is good

all and all, this is it y'all. get this one!

This worked perfect with 1/2” feed line and micro sprinklers tapped in to the hose and prefect pressure like garden hose at your house. Have about 15 micro sprinklers tapped into it

This is a powerful little pump that works efficiently and quietly. Pressure is great!

I've had this pump for about 3 months and it works well and is a lot quiter than the last one I had.

I'd definitely buy this again.

This pump has enough pressure to use a normal garden hose and project water up to the roof of a second story house very impressed does exactly what I wanted to do

This is a great pump and works as advertised. I highly recommend this pump.

I don't often review a product but after having this pump for 2 years I am happy to report it surpassed my expectations. I installed the pump at lakeside with a 150 watt solar panel charging 2 - 400 amp hr batteries and it pushes water vertically about 30' with a 200' run to the cottage. I'd say my flow rate is about 2 - 2.5 gpm at this distance with decent pressure. I used 3/4" PEX to the cottage then 1/2" branch lines. No problem operating our on demand hot water heater. So then I plumbed another line to an outbuilding another 75' further from the lake and still have adequate pressure and volume.

This pump has worked flawlessly for 2 years now. I'd definitely buy again.
