RV insect screens
I have never needed insect screens on my RV for the last 15 years, but never really parked in mud-dobber insect areas before. With the current diesel price crisis, our RV is going to stay put for a year, so, time for the screens here in the Rio Grande Valley area. They fit well, were easy to install, and look great. Not sure if I will need them, but I am prepared.

    I really like this stainless mesh vent cover. For the money, this is a very economical way to keep insects, mice, and everything else, including mud daubers, out of your furnace exhaust. Last fall, when we fired up the furnace, we had a distinctive odor coming from the furnace exhaust. It did clear up after a while, and the furnace worked fine. I knew I wanted to seal this up to keep critters out while still allowing the furnace to function properly due to a plugged exhaust.

    The install went great, but I feel the need to add an extra spring to help secure each cover in place. I will check at our local hardware store for and additional spring.

    Item worked out perfectly. Easy installation and good value for the money. Definitely would by from this company again if needed. Fit perfect. The color was awesome and matches perfectly. Looks strong and should hold up well and not rust easily. I really like the rubber gasket that comes with these to keep it from being metal on metal and dripping rust down the camper. Nice job guys.

    My heater was putting a weird smell and lots of Carbon Monoxide when running. Very little exhaust was exiting the pipe. Upon further inspection we found that there were 4 large wasp nests in the heater box and the Heat Manifold tube was full of Mud daubers and their nests, it was so bad, it took 3 hours to clean it out as well as all of the soot that was built up. Heater works awesome now, and will continue with this bug screen on it. I highly recommend you get one of these. Fast shipping, great quality product and so easy to install. What are you waiting for?

    They work just as they should to cover the inlet and outlet of my furnace. Comes with all the tools needed. About 10 minutes to install both should work well to keep the wasps and other vermin out.

    These were ordered as a deterent to wasps and bugs that like to crawl up in the outside vents of our RV. They were simple to install and my husband said he was able to complete ours in five minutes. I highly recommend this brand based on how easy they were to install. I believe they are sturdy enough to prevent pesky busg from being able to work their way into the openings on the vent. They were the perfect size and seemed tight enough when installed to prevent them from falling out while traveling.
