Works great, keeps the van nice and toasty

I would recommend this.

This heater has been wonderful once you get used to using it. Just remember to power it off with the off button and after a minute or so it will tell you to have a nice trip then it will shut it off. Don't just unplug it. Also, I am using it with my truck camper and although it worked fine in the garage on a deep cycle battery when I took it out and plugged it into my lithium power system in my truck it would not ignite and it gave me a high voltage audio warning. Appears it doesn't like the 13+ voltage of the lithium system so plan on it only working at voltages in the 12s. I now carry a separate battery for the heater although I plan to rig a dc to dc converter to my lithium system to drop the voltage a bit. Still love it. It has worked flawlessly and it cranks out the heat. It has heat settings of 1-10 and just running at 1 keeps my truck camper toasty in the 20s. On 2 it keeps it great in the teens. For the price this was a great purchase.

Such a rip off. Second one they sent me after first one was leaking gas. Now the second one I got is still leaking gas. Do not ever buy such a waste of money and time installing.

First thing is the owners manual is AWFUL. you'll spend time on YouTube figuring out how work this. But once you get it running it puts out great heat.

Bought a power supply on Amazon and hooked everything up. It primed by itself and then turned it on. Very happy so far. heating 480 sqft that’s insulated.

Excellent heater easy to set up doesn't use much fuel would highly recommend!

Easy to set up in my shop with an inverter, runs very well..Trying to set time, timer, and temperature is the real challenge. Instructions have obviously been translated from Chinese thus one must re-read a few times to complete proper steps. Overall, well worth the money and most importantly, I’m warm.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2025

This little heater has been amazing. Camping -8 in hot tent or I feed the hose in the front Window of my van.

I did need to change the batteries in the remote this year. Old ones worked but not when cold.

Bit of a pain getting the remote open (even with 2 screws out) but new batteries in there and its working from a distance again.

The longer exhaust pipe I bought for it was worth it.

I wrap the base of the exhaust about the first 8 inches out of the machine with the same wrap I use on the Woodstove pipe for the tent. Otherwise tends to burn the ground underneath.

Depending on how high I have it set, will typically run anywhere from 12-14 hours.

Camping necessity in cold weather ;)

used less than half tank of diesel.

needs longer power wires to reach my trunk battery

needs longer exhaust,

I ordered 4 inch dryer hose and it slid over top nicely of the existing hot air exit.which is a short pipe. no converter needed 3 inch to 4 inch

This little heater works great for me.

UPDATE Over 1 year Later:

Love this little unit. Still using it for camping. Hot tent, or I sometimes sleep in Van. Run hose to passenger Windows and cover open space with plastic (hold on with magnets) Wake up in van toasty warm.

Also have a smoking tent in my back yard.

-10 C outside and even on lowest setting its 19 C in the tent.

Best investment in camping gear I have made!

Highly recommend it.

BTW: fuel tank holds about a gallon. Typically I get at least 14 hours runtime on low.

I see this as a life saver in the event of a power or furnace failure.

Another Update January 2026

So one night -18 C ((Murphys Law of course)

It died. No response. Battery ok, everything hooked up checks out.

Took it inside and dismantled it. (well held together lots of screws)

Well it turns out inside there is a plug with 7 wires connecting the electronics to the main burn chamber.

I took it apart and clip snapped off. Crap plastic and cold.

Intermittent connection on this plug, wiggle it and it lights up.

Ok, if I have to I will solder all 7 wires (drew a schematic as the wires don't match in colour)

Before I do. Hmmmm Looks like when I spilled diesel (Over filling in dark many times again Murphys dang law)

Anyway seems diesel got in this connector and it got soaked. Tried cleaning with Alcohol - NOPE

Finally made a cupful of DAWN dish soap and with plug apart cleaned both male and female ends with an old tooth brush submerging the connectors in the cup of soapy water. Then I did a rins water, also scrubbed with old toothbrush.

Waited overnight with it in shop near furnace vent for it to dry out real good.

Next morning hooked it all up again, used some electrical tape to make that connector liquid proof and re routed the wires so that the next spill (inevitable), will not get the wires or connector wet.

Working perfect which is good because next couple of nights are below -28C

Anyway hope this helps someone out.

If it craps on ya, its probably that the wiring inside got wet.

Still love this little heater and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Further update. That connector is junk. Worked a while and quit.

I cut it out and soldered all 7 wires and covered with heat shrink.

Seems rock solid now.

Will update if any more issues.

But honestly for the amount of time I have run this thing, it really owes me nothing.

Now they are calling for -33C Friday night.

Testing carries on.....

This is one of the best purchases ive made on amazon, vevors quality is amazing, these sip diesel, and run all day o a tank of fuel, it works great and pumpa out heat. A 35ah battery lasts all day, its easy to set up, and no more propane to buy which saves money. If you ice fish this is a must have, nice dry heat. At -20 outside it has no issues warmin my tent to 21 celcius

Bought one to throw in the garage to heat up when working inside. We live in Winnipeg. Temperature today Jan 20, 1015 is -33 and feels like -45 with windchill. New box. No damage on the outside. Product is well packaged. No damage on the unit. Hooked everything up that came with it. Filled it up with fresh diesel, battery full charged, prime till fuel was full in the lines and turned on. Lasted 2 mins with a bang. Loud like a 9mm getting fired. I wouldn’t recommend these units. They are cheap made, parts are recycled refurbish with some new hose lines with a new shell. Contacted Amazon and you can not return these back. But the add says 30 day returns. Amazon refunded me for the cost of unit and I have to throw out the unit in garbage. Waste of time just to put it together and getting a lemon is not the greatest feeling.

This is the 3rd one I’ve bought, they work great and are pretty fuel efficient. I mounted one in my trailer to replace the old propane furnace. I’ve got another one in my shed running off a 12v battery and a trickle charger. The 3rd one I tried running waste oil in it and it clogged up the burner, I cleaned it out once and ran diluted waste oil through it and it clogged back up again. So don’t run waste oil in them and they’ll be fine.

Works great, and runs for a long period of time on a battery and tank of diesel. Used for heating ice shack. Very fast efficient way to get dry heat.
