I’m super happy with the Evoflex hoses from Camco. I’ve had a lot of different hoses over the years. I’ve tried the hoses that compress flat, the hoses that shrink down and the regular blue hoses. I have a couple of premium Camco water hoses, and they are a great product and very durable, but retain coil shape and are not flexible.

To start the hose is lighter in weight than a regular blue hose. But it doesn’t compromise on the quality of the threaded ends. Plus it has coil style end protectors, which is a big plus. The hose does roll up, but when you unroll it and straighten it a bit there is no coil memory and it lies nice and flat. The hose does not tend to kink, especially with water pressure applied.

The blue color is nice. And while all hoses pick up some dirt as they are laying on the ground, dirt and sand don’t tend to stick to the exterior texture of the hose.

This hose is competitively priced and is replacing all the hoses in my gear collection.

So, you've bothered to go to the expense and bother of putting an inline filter into your outdoor gardening system and your plants are happy you did. And, if you bought the right filter, now you can use that nasty city water for storing to drink also.

But, even with the filter, it might taste bad if you use your regular garden hose. That's where this Camco Evo-flex hose, made specially for drinking water, comes in. Without a hose designated for drinking water, your meticulously filtered water will have toxic chemicals from your garden hose added to it. You don't want that, do you? And the taste of water from an ordinary garden hose is typically less-than-appetizing. This was a flexible, lightweight, and entirely serviceable addition to my garden/prepping supplies. Although it's never advisable to leave any hose in the broiling sun, I did so by accident, and the Evo-flex took it like a champ. The water passes through my Boogie Blue filter through the hose and smells and tastes 100% better than before. Fittings are nicely made and secure. So far, no leaks. Good job, Camco!

BEST HOSES EVER. We use them on our commercial fishing boat and they stand up to the rigors of that, so after fighting with residential hoses here at home, I was like **duh** get the Camco here, too. They are flexible, very difficult to kink, the fittings are made from stainless steel. They last years and are worth every penny!

I have been using the other blue hoses of the same brand but they are so stiff and impossible to manage. It takes two people to coil them up. These are much more flexible and easily coiled but they are quick to kink because they're so soft and flexible. They have high quality fittings and seem to be crimped well. They do not leak and are easy to tighten by hand. I have used the other popular brand of blue house that is also easily manageable but every one that I owned leaked from the box or within a few months. This one has held up well and is a fair compromise for a manageable hose that doesn't leak.

Not your average hose, this thing is pure quality and flexible. Super happy with the purchase.

Good water hoses. Will be seeing how these last through the camping year. But I am hopeful they will hold up to time.

Update (5 months later) :

The hose is going strong. A white camco hose developed algae inside, but not this one. I suspect the lack of transparency in the blue hose helps control the algae issue.

I also cut this 50ft hose to fit my needs. It was better than buying 10/25ft hose sections. No leaks, so no complaints. Still flexible, and no cracks/splits. Hose under 60psi (static). I had the water pressure set to 80psi (static) for over a month and no leaks. I turned it down back to 60psi.

I don't even know how to rate "flavor" because I didn't drink out of the hose. Either way, I use this hose in conjunction with a 3-stage water filtration and water softener for my travel trailer. And I don't drink out of the Campground water, so I can't speak to that. I just have three 5-gal Primo Water jugs that I refill at local grocery store.

Back to the hose...its super flexible. As long as you're not careless with the hose (I mean real careless), it doesn't kink. I've had this hose under 60psi for several days and it's held up just fine. The hose does expand/stretch slightly under pressure, so it made me worry, but I'm confident that this will hold up just fine. I have not used it in hot weather condition, so I don't know how the hose will be affected by pressure + hot temperature. We'll see, I guess.

Since it's the most flexible hose I have, it's been very easy to move it around and route it however I like. So far so good.

Excelente mangueira, muito flexível o que facilita guardar ocupando pouco espaço no motorhome. Único problema oara nós brasileiros é que as conexões tem rosca GHT o que é incompatível com a NPT usada no Brasil, tive que comprar adaptadores (a própria Camco tem).

Strong but flexible hose that is perfect for my drinking water needs on the rv

I find these to be exceptional RV hoses. The are very flexible compared to others I have owned. To go along with this 25’ I have a 10’, between the two you should be good for hook up in most if not all campsites.
