I picked up the Camco TastePURE 25‑Ft RV Drinking Water Hose, and it’s been a great upgrade over standard garden hoses—especially for anything involving drinking water.

The first thing I noticed is there’s no plastic taste or odor in the water. That’s a huge plus. Knowing it’s lead-free, BPA-free, and phthalate-free gives peace of mind when using it for RV trips, filling tanks, or even around the house.

The build quality is solid. The diamond-hatch reinforced PVC design makes it feel durable without being overly stiff. It holds up well to regular use and doesn’t kink as easily as cheaper hoses, which makes setup and storage much easier.

The 25-foot length is practical for most situations, and the 5/8" inside diameter provides good water flow. Connections fit securely with no leaks, and it handles pressure well.

Arrived quickly and wrapped up in a small package. Very easy to untangle and it adapted quickly to the screw on hydrant nozzle that I previously purchased so that I can use water hydrants in the public areas. Long enough to spray water from the hydrant around my entire car which was mandatory for me purchasing this in the first place. Extremely satisfied. When finished, I simply coil it back up and put it in the trunk on the side because it's so small it can fit in a small grocery bag and not leak all over the place. Thick enough that it won't snap, but not so thick that you can't maneuver it. I love the fact that at the screwing point, The adapter swivels so that you do not have to turn the entire hose, which was the case with my last holes purchase elsewhere. This hose is so easy to use and set up. Very pleased.

Good quality

An inexpensive way of providing city water to your RV. They turn yellow after a few years and are not very flexible. However, it is inexpensive and gets the job done.

Used this hose on several RV trips and it works exactly as expected. The water tastes clean with no plastic smell, and the hose is lightweight and easy to roll up for storage. The 25-foot length is perfect for campground hookups. Great value for the price.

But wait....made of PVC?? Ummm....okay. So that's reaally similar to a pthalate, as PVC is a known endocrine disrupt-er for kids and their development, so man, what a bummer. It's really a super LIGHT version of false advertising, IMHO.

If they would have made this with polyurethane, you would have had a 100% WIN for consumers.

It's holding up and functionality is good for a small extender hose, so if you don't care about your kids' (or your own) hormonal dysfunction from plastics like PVC, it's a cheap and functional small hose and made in the USA.

No good to me, has not got the correct fittings for Australia. My husband spent more money trying to fix it but not good. So it useless to me.

The Camco Water Hose gets the job done without giving the water a plastic taste, which is a big plus. However, the hose is really stiff, making it difficult to maneuver or coil neatly.

While it’s functional and serves its purpose, I wish it were more pliable for easier handling. A decent option, but there may be more flexible alternatives out there.
