I love this thing! Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but I always struggled leveling our motorhome (25ft, 2015 LTV Unity). 😆 I ran across this device on an RV blog and immediately began investigating. It didn't take long to realize I had to have it. The box arrived quickly. Yay! I checked out the instructions and You Tube installation video and downloaded the app. Set up was easy and straightforward. I gathered the tools necessary...level, tape measure and small phillips head screwdriver and attached the device to the wall inside a closet. I then took (and wrote down) the required measurements between the tires and set out to find a level spot so I could initialize the unit. It needs to set a basis for "level", so it's necessary to level your rig or find a level spot. That was the hardest part as most all parking lots have some slope for water drainage. I finally found a level area and was good to go.

We just returned from a 3 week trip, and at each campground, leveling our Motorhome was a breeze. I was able to move forward/back as necessary to adjust, and if over about 2", I would set up the leveling blocks. It is nice because it tells you how many inches each wheel is out of level (if at all). Really took time off the set up process.

The cost is nothing to sneeze at, but if you can swing it...I would highly recommend this device. The unit runs off a 2032 battery and broadcasts a bluetooth signal for an hour after you turn on the app...this is to preserve the battery.

EDIT: 7/14/18 - Still enjoying the LevelMate Pro Pro for ease of leveling. The thing that bothers me is the battery situation. Every trip we take after the RV has been in storage awhile...the battery is dead and I have to change it. Not overly convenient in that I installed this in a closet and 4 tiny screws have to be removed. It helps keeping the appropriate screwdriver and stock of CR2032 batteries. I believe the new models have since addressed this. An on/off switch would be very nice to ensure the bluetooth doesn’t broadcast when not needed.

we purchased a new to us toy hauler this summer and had no way of leveling it except to use a contractors bubble level. I saw this and looked at the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did, this product is GREAT! The initial setup which is much easier with two people. After that it is simple to use. Get to our spot, turn the box on wherever it is mounted in your camper, pair your phone to it and it tells you how you need to level it side to side and front to back. Very simple for one person to do and you don't need to keep checking it at different points, its all in your hands. I would highly recommend to anyone. It's the next best thing to an automated leveling system.

This device is fantastic!! Makes leveling very very simple! I mounted it on the wall across from my kitchen in my travel trailer, and that wall happens to be covered by the inside wall of the slide so with the slide in, I have a little trouble getting connection inside the truck, my trailer is 31 feet overall length so that distance is just a small bit too far, but that is fixable by mounting it in a location that doesn't have as many surfaces to travel through, because standing at the hitch, it connects perfectly, and being able to see level at the hitch jack is soooo much easier, especially if I'm setting up without anyone assisting me. That also means if I do have someone with me, they can be setting up other things instead of 2 people having to be tied to one task for that time.

Setup is pretty simple as well. You first of course need to level the trailer manually, and definitely want to be sure that it is perfectly level, by doing so then when you zero out the leveling module, it will give you the most level setup every time after that.

When I first used it, I didn't pay attention to how the arrow is indicating whether the trailer is high or low, I was adjusting in the opposite direction, so just need to be sure to read the instructions for how to read the arrow because that was one frustrating night arriving late at literally midnight and trying to level a trailer in the pitch dark and being tired, lol.

But this product is completely worth the price!

This worked great so far. I used it for the first and only time over the weekend. I pulled into the site. Turned it on. Waited for it to load. After what seemed like a fairly long time it showed me what side I needed to raise and how much. That part worked great. Backed the trailer up a foot. Put the boards down needed to make me level and done.

No more guess work. This was my first-time camping in this trailer. We went from a pop up I leveled with a scissor jack to a 26' hard shell with dual wheels. We camped for over 6 years in the pop up. I have a heavy-duty scissor jack I slid under the axel and made a thing to go onto a cordless drill. My wife would watch our level gauge and tell be when we were level. So I had concerns on getting his trailer level.

With the Level Mate Pro no more guess work. No more laying on the ground jacking the trailer up. No more "words" with the wife looking for that sweet spot. I am so glad I found and purchased this.

Now for the cons: It seems to take a long time connecting from my phone to the Level Mate Pro.. I would recommend turning it on as you are checking in. Instead of waiting to try and connect at the site. We pulled into the site and turned the unit on. As I sat there with my nose of the truck blocking the road in front I was glad nobody needed to get passed while I was waiting for Level Mate Pro to get connected and give me the feedback I needed.

The other con I have is I tried the hitch recall position. As we were getting ready to leave I turned the unit on and tried the hitch position recall. As I was again waiting for it to connect and hopefully give me that info I was able to back the truck up where it needed to be to get hooked back up. It never did give me the help I needed get me under the hitch. Not a major issue. Just an inconvenient since I was hoping it was also going to save me time hooking back up.

Overall I would purchase this again for the time and aggravation it saves leveling the trailer. I should get better using it the more I use it. Great product just like everything in life it has its quirks.

LevelMate does everything it says it does. Install it, pair it to your phone and iPad, and it works, out of the box. The installation is simple and straight forward with one thing to note: if you are pairing both an iPhone and iPad, you have to turn the wall unit on and off between pairings; once attached to the phone, the Bluetooth connection has to be broken and restarted on the iPad. Measure your wheelbase and track before you start to set it up. Once you have the data you need, it's really easy. On a "drivable RV", they prefer that you set the sensing/sending unit on a wall that faces either the driver or passenger side -- not front to rear although that will work, too. And, don't put it on a wall that "slides". The sensing unit is so precise that it will be thrown off if the slide does not seat exactly the way it was when it was first calibrated.

To make the purchase even better, they have some of the best customer support anywhere. You dial the number, and someone answers. He is patient and knowledgable. And, if he's on the phone, they take a message and call back. A couple of times, I didn't leave a message. Within minutes, they noticed, from caller ID, that I'd called AND called back on their own.

As to the "battery life issue" mentioned in some reviews, the newest version cures this in two ways, the more efficient use of power AND an "on/off" switch. And, there is a setting, in the software that let's you determine how long it stays on before turning itself off.

I'm really pleased with my purchase.

I finally got a chance to use this and it is amazing! I bought a set of the curved levelers to compliment this and it works exactly as I hoped. I turn the levelmate on, connect to my phone, put one curved leveler under a wheel on the lower side, get in my truck and pull forward until it shows level. Set the parking brake and go chock the tires in place, done with side to side. Disconnect truck, set front to back level with the app, done with front to back and get on with the rest of trailer set up. NOTE: If you have slides, level your trailer with the slides out, then put them in and calibrate the levelmate because that is how your trailer will be when arrive at the campground.

Before my first solo RV trip, I was very intimidated at the prospect of leveling my RV by myself. Friends had told me that leveling had nearly caused them to get divorced, and so I had investigated hydraulic levelers that cost from $2,500 to nearly $4,000. I decided instead to invest $145 in the LMP to save the cost, added weight, and ongoing maintenance of hydraulic levelers, and I am very glad I did.

I just completed my first trip in a 24’ Class C dually RV, and highly recommend the LevelMate Pro (LMP.) I installed the LMP in the center of the RV, near the ceiling above the closet door next to the fridge. This location gives it direct line of sight to the console next to the driver’s seat, where I set my iPhone 12 Max Pro. It is also a location where it will be easy for me to unscrew it and take it down to change the battery when I need to later on. The LMP was well packaged with user friendly instructions. Installation was easy to do, and took less than half an hour. I had downloaded the app before I left on my trip, which expedited the installation process.

When I arrive at a campsite, I immediately turn on the LMP and then the app, and use it to find the most level spot at the site. In many cases I don’t need to use levelers. But when I do need levelers, I use the LMP to help me try to find a spot where I only need to level two wheels instead of three, which simplifies the leveling process. The LMP tells me how many inches I need to raise each wheel, which helps me know how to position my levelers. Even as a newby, I found that I could level my RV on the first try instead of having to make multiple attempts.

I have had no problems maintaining connectivity with the app. All my campsites so far have had cellular access. I am guessing that if I ever camp where I can’t get a cell signal, it may not work because of how Bluetooth handles location, but I actually don’t know that for a fact.

Once the RV is level, I set my parking brake and then shift into park, turn off the LMP unit, turn off the app, and then set my chocks. FWIW, the levelers I use are some combination of legos, 18” 2 x10s, and Beechlane curved levelers. I recently decided to cut up a 1/2” horse stall mat from Tractor Supply into 8” x 18” pieces to use under the curved levelers and as a replacement for the legos, which are starting to break from age and use, but haven’t tried that yet.

Makes leveling up the caravan so much easier. Sometimes I have to set the van up on my own and with this it's so much easier as you don't need to keep getting in and out of the car to see it's level. Easy to fit and set up and works great

So far so good. Set up was easy. I mounted the unit on the side wall of the pass through. It needs to be somewhat accessible to turn on before backing into a site.

The best purchase I have ever made. At about £130 and £5,900 cheaper than a hydraulic levelling system it only takes about 5 mins longer to level my caravan. BRILLIANT

I am a bit of a gadget man so couldn't resist this. I have hacked mine a little as I didn't want to change batteries so have hard wired mine to the caravan 12V system via a DC-DC voltage converter so no warranty for me. Works perfectly though and is much better than a spirit level. Couldnt be happier.
