      The quality of this jack is top grade. Same brand that came factory installed on our RV. There used to be a drawback to these jacks in that they didn't allow you to rotate the head 90 degrees without some modifications. (That seems to be addressed now in the one that we received)

      We wanted to replace our old jack because the tailgate on our truck came loose on a bumpy road and slammed down on the Jack Head. It busted the switches out and broke the lamp cover to pieces. (Jack was still functioned though)

      There was very nice new feature that came with the one that was delivered... which wasn't documented in the instructions or the description. When I went to make the modification to rotate the head 90 degrees, I was surprised to find that this Lippert model now has holes already pre-drilled and tapped to rotate the head to 90 degrees. This is a VERY appreciated improvement. This helps us truck owners with larger tailgates that normally hit the jack head when you try to open your tailgate. I'm not sure if they are implementing this on 100% of their models yet.... and maybe that is why they aren't advertising it... But mine definitely came with these pre-drilled holes.... (So your mileage may vary if you order one that still doesn't have those hole). My older model did not have these holes pre-drilled (which is why I never bothered to rotate it)

      There are two rubber caps on each side of the jack that easily pop out to expose 1/2" bolts. You can remove those bolts and then swivel the jack head 90 degrees.... at which point mine already had pre-drilled & tapped holes that you can re-fasten those 1/2" bolts into. Very appreciative that Lippert has taken notice of this because previously the only way to do this was to drill your own holes and tap them yourself with threads for 5/16-18 (There are multiple YouTube videos walking you through how to do this). With this improvement it is now just a simple 10 minute change and all you need is a 1/2" deep dish socket.

      Very pleased with this purchase.

      This jack was easy to swap out the original.

      It works very well, and seems well sealed and sturdy. Only one flaw in the design. It has most of the mechanism being high on the front portion of the vertical shaft which does not allow you to open your tailgate (on a Tahoe) when attached to your vehicle. It hits the jack. The original Rockwood Roo jack was clear by an inch...

      I just installed this unit. It was super easy. Fit the existing tongue holes exactly. I chose to clip the existing wire eliminating the old fuse and wired in the new wire with size 10 shrinking butt connectors. I then turned the head by removing the side bolts and reinstalled with the head 90 degrees to the side. Now I can lower my tailgate and the head does not interfere with the propane tank cover. I then connected the battery and tested the operation. It is really quiet and smooth operating. All the parts were in the box except for the electrical connectors. Don't be afraid to buy this unit. It looks great. I would certainly recommend it. Get a cover for the head to protect it from the elements.

      So far so good. Super easy to install, very quiet & the light is a nice touch. Could have upgraded to the 7-pin option but this will do. Did I mention it's super quiet?? Had the brute one, paid double this Lippert. It quit, siezed up due to water intrusion (I never thought to check the insides occasionally). Lasted 2 yrs & a few months, of course it had a 2 year warrantee. Dont bother with the mor pricey ones. It only needs to go up and down. And this one is, you got it, super quiet.

      This took only 10 minutes to install, but it took an additional 30 minutes to go to the store and buy a connector for the wire that connects to the battery. I would have been happy to pay the additional 10 cents for a SUPPLIED connector. But other than that, it works great and it is quite.
