Exactly what I needed on my lifted 2001 Suburban. I tow using my rig a 7k dump trailer and the 6in drop options never leveled the trailer I needed something closer to 10, but I was done buying single size ball mounts. Finally pulled the trigger here and its been great since. Very solid and heavy, be careful grabbing this on your porch.

This Chinese made hitch is pretty heavy duty. It weighs a lot and feels like a full 40 pounds. Reduces your allowed ball weight by that much. Looks cast as one piece of steel with a mat coating of some type. Heavy duty ball mount is easy to flip over as needed by removing the two included pins. Has a rubber noise reducer behind the ball attachment piece so when flipping or adjusting the ball mount drop, it takes some inward pressure to realign the pins. Pins do not lock and have a single shared spring clip holding them that worries me a little. I would have preferred two locking pins or two separate spring clips that went through the pins not around them in a groove. Does not come with a hitch pin and I think it should have for the price. You will need to buy your own pin. You may want to consider a locking hitch pin, however, that will not prevent you from losing the attached ball mount which does not lock. A little sloppy in my 2" receiver so you may want to buy a hitch tightener to keep the clunking to a minimum. Good for a larger truck but NOT for an SUV or small pick up. Just too heavy. Will have to see how quickly this rusts.

Solid hitch for sure, 15k lb no complaints except im not have a fan of the retaining clip mechanism, but it's been fine so far. Hauling 7x14 sure trac dump trailer and kubota 26hp loader/ backhoe.

This is exactly what I wanted. A heavy duty hitch with no concern to pull a 14,000 lbs dump trailer (trailer itself weighs 4000 lbs) with a 9000 lbs excavator in it. I'm always amazed to see a lot of other drivers will spend good money on their 1 ton trucks, trailers and equipment and yet buy some cheap underrated (and dangerous) trailer hitch. This one matches the build and rating I need for what I'm hauling.

This ball mount came very well packaged, and it is a beast. Well made, brand new in unopened original box.

When I went to pick up my new landscape trailer, the salesperson asked where I got it because they were looking for another product for their line and he was impressed with it.

The cushion for the anti rattle was stiff, but it is getting easier to adjust the ball height over time.

Now, there still is a little rattle at times, but this is due to the clearances in my hitch and the ball mount. I’ll be honest, no more than any other experience I’ve had.

Highly recommend it.

This hitch is heavy! Feels like 75+ lbs which means well built. I see the potential issue with the locking pin. I may drill a hole thro the silver pins and use a different clip. I don’t doubt CURT’s quality and I’m excited to use the hitch.

Well-built main unit, it's longer than usual hitches, which is good for maneuvering; however, the two pins held with the thin metal wire don't seem to hold well. The metal wire gets pulled into the hole the pins go through. This is dangerous, as if it pops off, the pin will wiggle loose and you will lose your trailer. I will be modifying it to a heavier pin to make it safe. For the price it shouldn't need to be modified for safety.
