      I have used the shocker hitch swaybar for about 1000 miles. Shortly after that it failed. I contacted the manufacturer and explained the situation. I ended up having to send some pictures. They verified my purchase and simply replaced it. I was advised not to tighten down too tight. It was explained to tighten down with one finger then tighten a little more by hand. I do believe the failure was due to over tightening.

      This company was very gracious in allowing me a replacement part. Highly recommended! Hopefully this helps anyone using this product.

    If you are experiencing trailer sway while towing, check out the Shocker hitch sway bar arm kit will help reduce trailer sway. Order a single or dual sway arm bar kit. This is a very economical way to assist with fixing trailer sway problems. Whether you are towing a camper, small or large trailer, you may experience trailer sway from wind, passing vehicles, and rough & uneven road surfaces. This friction sway control arm bar kit is made to prevent the trailer from swaying. We offer a sway control arm bar system kit that works with the many different Shocker Hitch ball mounts that have sway bar mounting tabs. Available in combo, drop, or raised ball with sway bar tabs (sold separately). The friction sway bars attach to the front of your trailer frame, on the side of the a-frame, and then to your ball mount attachment equipped with sway bar tabs. This sway control system is used to stiffen the connection between the truck and trailer, keeping it straight and in line with the tow vehicle. The arm is adjustable, and you can increase the resistance on the highway and reduce the resistance when in town or taking sharp corners. This kit works with Shocker sway control hitches and our air weight distribution hitches . You will want to use one (1) Shocker sway control system when towing up to 10,000 pounds and/or trailers under 24' & when towing over 10,000 pounds and/or trailers longer than 24', two (2) Shocker sway control arm bar kits may be required.
