    Installation instructions are contradictory.
    Installation diagram (left side of photo) showed it can be installed vertically. Written installation guide (top-right paragraph) stipulated it must be mounted with no more that 20 degree nose-down angle and no more than 70 degree nose-up angle. I was unable to find any videos which might provide clarification on this specific item's installation. Not wanting to risk demolishing my truck and camping trailer due to malfunctioning trailer brakes caused by faulty installation, I returned it.

      I bought a camper this year, so I needed to put a brake controller in my SUV. After lots of online research I settled on this unit. The price was good, and it had all of the features that I needed, including an easily accessible activation switch. I installed it myself in just a short time, and it worked perfectly with my vehicle. We have since towed the camper numerous times and this little beauty makes a HUGE difference.
