Great peace of mind when hauling!
This is my second Tymate system. I bought the first one for my horse trailer and sold it with the trailer. I recently purchased this newer version for my new trailer and love it. The peace of mind that it brings while hauling my precious cargo is well worth the price. I love that it has the temperature as well as tire pressure because that helps both in knowing if the road temp is playing a roll in pressure or something more nefarious like a seized up wheel bearing. Time will tell how the battery life it, but my previous set worked for years without needing replacement. I expect good battery life from this set as well. Installation was fast and easy. You literally unscrew the stand caps and screw on the sensor caps. Make sure you have the heavy duty brass tire valve stems. Regular rubber valve stems will eventually crack due to the added force. The receiver in the cab is easy to read. I love the two tone color so that you can quickly see which numbers you're looking at (tire pressure vs. temperature). I recommend this system to all of my friends that haul horse trailers (or any trailer, for that matter).

A little peace of mind
Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2026It works as expected. Synced easily and provides some peace of mind on those longer trips. The downside it was completly unreadable most of the day. I would take it off the dash and read it like an old school pager. At night it's fine. It sits on a little rubber mat so it's easy to do so.
The low air alarm is LOUD. It happened to go off on a cold day on a narrow windy mountain road with traffic coming the other direction. A big wtf moment over a 3lb change whilst mashing buttons trying to silence it. The pressure settings are adjustable though.
