Product Description

Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 4800-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 4800 surge watts and 4000 rated watts of power. Our 224cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4800W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The built-in wheels and telescoping handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 1.9-gallon tank provides up to 7 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with four three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown combine with the built-in overload protection and indicator lights to safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. And because this is a WEN Product, your inverter generator comes backed by a 3-year limited warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline. This little generator is the best value I have ever seen. The quality is exceptionally good, and it always starts on the first or second pull. The output of the inverter Meets or Exceeds the Rated Capacity for continuous as well as surge load. (I'm an electrical engineer, and generators are something of a hobby to me. I own a lot of them) This is Huge because a lot of other inverter generators do not come close to the rated output, or suffer Serious voltage drops when subjected to load spikes (like starting an air conditioner). These WEN units provide exceptional surge capability and excel at starting inductive loads like air conditioners (provided you have a soft-start installed). I have a pair of these 56477i units with manual start. They are so easy to start, I see the electric start option as overkill and something else that needs a battery to maintain. Two of these units (with my self-designed Phase Sync Box that creates 240v Split-Phase Power) run my Entire House, including the 4-Ton AC, a 1-Ton Mini-Split AC, Two Refrigerators, A Chest Freezer, and all lights and computers Simultaneously ! I just alternate which one of these I take on trips with my RV so they get even usage, and while at home the pair of them make a very portable 9600 Watt Whole-House Generator (for 1/3rd the cost). I also have four of the 2350 watt suitcase-style generators from WEN. (The 56235i models) I can also say that a pair of the 2350 units do exactly match the power and performance of the 4800. I also run my entire house exactly as stated above using FOUR of the 2350 units with my Phase-Sync Box. Here are a couple of pictures. All I can say is that these units provide exceptional bang for the buck. Keep the oil changed often as these little engines do not have oil filters, and keep fuel stabilizer in the gas.

    I purchased this a year ago because some of the medication‘s that I take are stored in the refrigerator and are quite expensive. I got this as a backup so if the power goes out it can power the refrigerator. A medium sized freezer in the garage has done very well so far without any problems or issues just make sure to follow the instructions and do as they say, keep a check on the oil to make sure it’s at the proper level and make sure to start it once a month and do a generator test as recommended in the manual. It has started every time every month that a test has been done on it very very happy with my purchase very well built. The unit is quiet sturdy and runs very smoothly. highly recommend this unit and seems to be reasonably fuel efficient.

    I use this to keep my refrigerator running during outages. It’s been working smoothly and quietly in my garage, which is just what I needed. Following the manual’s advice helped me keep it in good shape; I regularly check the oil level, start it once a month, and perform the suggested tests. It has started every time without any trouble. I’m glad I chose this one because it feels sturdy and uses fuel reasonably well. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can count on it when needed.

    We just lost power for 9 days during the Palisades fire and this generator shipped the day after I ordered and came in literally 20-ish minutes before our power went out. I had a neighbor help set it up and looked very easy to do. I was able to easily start it by myself and run multiple extension cords to power essentials. We plugged wifi, tv, phone chargers, refrigerator, deep freezer, cappuccino machine, and air fryer. When using the kitchen appliances we would unplug the deep freezer or refrigerator to make sure we didn’t exceed wattage. Very easy to just unplug and plug what was needed in. This saved us! The only thing I wish we could have done was plugged our water heater in and some better lighting. We are now looking at the higher wattage as we are already looking at another power shutoff Monday. I have recommended this one to so many people already! 9 straight days of use from the moment we took it out of the box. I recommend getting 50+ feet for the cords and power strips to plug in multiple things via extension cords. It ran all night long without going off from gas usage. We got 3 2gallon gas cans and a 5 gallon and used a siphoning device for that to transfer gas. It would last 8 hours easy on a tank. Easy peasy! I started it multiple times no husband needed. A child could operate easily. Very user friendly. Highly recommend. Great price and it’s very lovely looking and quiet. The guys that helped set me up asked me for the link bc they couldn’t believe how well it worked and how quiet it was. Thanks for saving our lives this last week +! Sorry for the jumbled review but wanted to make sure to get all the information out there.

    Super quiet and works great. The handle makes it easy to roll around and the connections and directions are easy to understand. I use it for my camper but I live in FL so I also will be prepared for any storms that happen to come along. It starts on the first or second pull every time. Use ethanol free gas, use the fuel cutoff when you are not going to use it for more than a couple of days, do the break in and oil changes, and don't leave fuel sitting in it for a long time and it should last a long time. It's the perfect size to fit in the back of my truck with the tonneau cover on so it's hidden and it's not too heavy to lift or move around. This generator provided more than enough power for my 30amp camper and I used the AC, the microwave, lights, and who knows what else we had plugged in and there was hardly a noticeable power draw.

    I was unfamiliar with the Wen brand so was sceptical but the price was very good so I decided to purchase. I've been extremely satisfied with the purchase. I've got a couple hundred hours on the generator with zero issues. It's very quiet, especially for it's size. The plastic body is good quality. I had to put a high altitude kit on it which was easy to get from Wen directly and it was shipped promptly. The weight is manageable with the long telescoping handle and wheels. It's starts with a few pulls every time. The two things that kept me from a 5 star rating are the fuel level indicator which reads wrong sometimes. Also, the switch could be improved. The setting between choke and run is very "soft" and does not have a positive "click" when going from choke to run. Overall, I would purchase again and recommend.

    Great little Generator, easy to start and shutdown when needed. Using the 30amp plugin for a travel trailer and it powers the camper just fine. Follow the break in oil change recommendations and use non-ethanol gas and you should be fine.

    This is an incredible little generator/inverter. It easily powers my 35.5 foot camper with power to spare. It is very quiet, and I do believe, that if I had to, I could run this in the evening to power the air conditioner as we are traveling. I have one other WEN product and neither one has disappointed me at all.

This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4800W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The built-in wheels and telescoping handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 1.9-gallon tank provides up to 7 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with four three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy?
