About this item
- Simple Installation: Most RVs are already equipped with Furrion pre-wired and mounting locations, and this unique Fookoo camera fits on most Furrion pre-wired mount, eliminating the need for extensive drilling. But it isn't compatible with the Furrion system because their technologies are different. Even if your vehicle doesn't have a pre-wired bracket, the installation is convenient, just fix the camera and connect it to the vehicle's power supply.
- Full HD Stunning Visuals: 7" IPS monitor provides with crisp images and parking lines. Equipped with touch buttons, a touch of the response, faster and more convenient operation. With auto-dimming, screen will automatically adjust the right brightness, night driving will not be affected. It can support up to 4 cameras for full coverage and display in split screen mode.
- IP69 Waterproof Camera with Night Vision: The HD camera with IP69 waterproof and 120-degree viewing angle brings you the best view and longer product life. Equipped with 6 infrared lights and a photoreceptor, the lights automatically turn on when the ambient light is low, it continuously provides you with high-definition images to ensure driving safety. Also, it is compatible with Furrion pre-wired mount, which will save your installation time.
- Dual Antennas for More Stable Signal: Utilizing advanced 2.4GHz wireless signal technology and dual antenna design, it provides a more reliable and stable signal with no delay and no lag in images. With a reception range of up to 200ft in the open, it shows you your surroundings in real time, even at high speeds of 102 mph.

Optional windshield and table mounting are available to meet your needs and cater to your viewing habits. If you find any defect or need help, please contact us. - Friendly Reminder: Wireless means that the system transmits the footage captured by the camera to the screen through a wireless signal instead of using a cable. But the cameras and monitor still need to be connected to a power source via power cord to get power to work properly. The voltage range is DC 12-24V, suitable for various large vehicles such as RV/Camper/Trailer/Bus/Van/Pickup/Farm Machinery.
- Additional Accessories: 1. If your car doesn't have a cigarette lighter socket and you don't want to hardwire it, you can ask us for a USB to 12V Cigarette Lighter Socket Cable. 2. For Chevrolet or GMC owners, you may need a 7 Way Vehicle Power Adapter. Because the taillights and running lights can't provide a constant 12-volt power supply to the lights to make the system work properly. Please ask us for a link to purchase a power adapter to bypass this problem.
- Note:Some models of GMC,Chevrolet and Ford have adopted PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)power signals in specific circuits. For example,GMC and Chevrolet models after 2010.For some Ford models after 2015(F-150,F-250 F-350,etc.),some circuits may use PWM signals. Therefore,it may cause the backup camera to flicker or fail to work due to the lack of PWM input. This problem can be bypassed by using the Furrion 7-way power adapter or PWM filter. If you need it,we will provide you with purchasing guidance.

Big Picture, little price!
Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2024When we bought our camper, we went ahead and bought the Furrion camera - since the camper was pre-wired for one. Being new to pulling a camper, I really like (need) the rear view they provide. Given the cost, we only bought the 5" monitor. We talked about upgrading to a bigger monitor, but a Furrion 7" can cost over $400!!
I saw an advertisement for this FooKoo unit, with camera AND a 7" monitor for just a little more than 1/3 that cost. The FooKoo camera is a littler larger than my old one, but the screw holes lined up EXACTLY. I only had to make one mini-phono plug connection (pre-wired, remember), secure with 4 screws, and done!
Rather than hook up and pull the trailer around just to test, I backed my vehicle up to the hitch and connected the wiring harness of the camper. The pre-wired aspect takes care of routing power to the camera via the lighting circuit. Camera and monitor come paired, so there is no work there.
I really like the bigger picture and the quality is as good as the Furrion. I have not tested the night vision or recording feature at this time (the recording option is new to me). But I do not intend to do much camper pulling at night.
But the value doesn't end there. FooKoo provides both a mounting bracket and a suction cup that you can choose from to mount the monitor. There is also a monitor hood to reduce glare, and wiring to assist if this is a new install. When I bought mine, you could choose from 4 gifts as a gesture of appreciation. Most of the gift options are accessories that you can use with the camera.
So many reviewers have commented on the customer service of FooKoo. I have not had a reason to contact them, but their thoroughness in providing everything you need to get connected as well as really good instructions makes me believe they truly want the customer to be not only satisfied but glad they purchased the unit. I look forward to road testing the unit. If anything changes, I'll update this review.
Please understand that I never had an issue with my Furrion system. I just found a bigger monitor (and a new camera) for a very good price.

nice furrion alternative
Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2026so far so good- bought this for our 2021 forest river ozark 1680bhkx that was already pre-wired for a furrion backup camera. this camera fit perfectly in the mount. install was fairly simple, just have to read the directions. the screen is nice and large and the display is quite clear during daytime. we haven't tried it out at night yet. there's different modes to allow you to had additional cameras if you choose, and you can also change the orientation of the display.

Great camera, great customer support
Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2024I installed this on my Grand Design travel trailer which came wired for the Furrion camera system. The camera plugged right into the factory wiring with no modification however, the screw holes didn't line up so I had to drill new holes. Using the supplied rubber gasket and some silicone caulk for safe measure, the camera mounted easily and paired immediately with the very large 7" monitor. Because the camera ball can be rotated up and down to some degree, I was able to orient it in such a way as to watch traffic coming up behind me and also to see behind when I was parking. The monitor worked very well, is clear and easy to see. 7 inches of screen may be hard to imagine, but the monitor is quite large which is great for viewing but it does take up some real estate. I don't consider this as a negative as having the big picture is very nice but some consideration of where to mount it needs to be done. The included cables pretty much allow you to mount it most anywhere but it wouldn't fit on my center console very well and I ended up stashing it in the far corner of the passenger side dash attached with the included window suction cup. With the huge size of the monitor, I was able to see it easily as I drove and with it well out of my way it was no distraction. I had no dropout of signal with my 33' trailer so an antenna extension wasn't necessary. Angela in Customer Service provided outstanding support, offering me the option of the unneeded antenna extension or a 128G memory card. I opted for the card as the picture quality is good enough to be able to use the card to record traffic. I haven't used it yet in this manner but I'm sure it will work great. Kudos to Fookoo for making a high quality camera at an affordable price, and providing excellent customer service along with it. For anyone thinking about buying a Furrion system, I highly recommend looking into this system first. I look forward to getting the side marker cameras to complete the system one day.

Crystal-Clear Safety Upgrade for RV Adventures!
Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2025The Fookoo HD 1080P Wireless RV Backup Camera System (DW7Y5) is a phenomenal addition to my RV camping experience, making backing up and navigating safer and stress-free! This system, designed for Furrion pre-wired RVs, features a 7-inch IPS monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, delivering sharp, vibrant visuals. The single rear-view camera, equipped with six infrared lights, provides excellent night vision, ensuring clear views in total darkness, while the IP69 waterproof rating guarantees durability in rain, snow, or extreme temperatures (-4°F to 198°F). The wireless digital signal technology offers a stable connection up to 138 feet, with no lag or interference, even on my 30-foot trailer.
Installation was a breeze, especially with the Furrion pre-wired mount—just a few screws and a power connection to my RV’s 12-24V system, and I was set in under 20 minutes. The adjustable lens allowed me to angle the camera perfectly, and the parking lines on the monitor made aligning my RV at campsites effortless. The loop recording feature, supporting up to 128GB SD cards, is a nice touch for capturing footage. My only minor wish is for a slightly larger monitor option for easier viewing, but the 7-inch screen is plenty clear. Compared to pricier Furrion systems, this Fookoo model (around $100–$150) offers superior value with plug-and-play simplicity and reliable performance. For RVers seeking a high-quality, budget-friendly backup camera, this system is a must-have! Highly recommend!

great alternative to the Furion camera
Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2025This Fookoo camera is an excellent substitute for the more expensive Furion name brand camera. If your camper is prewired for the Furion you should definitely consider this as an alternative. Installation is simple if you are pre-wired. Unscrew and remove the pre-installed Furion cover and rubber gasket. You might have to clean the old silicone caulk away from the camper as the Fookoo camera is a slightly different shape than the Furion dummy insert. Simply plug the camera into the power cable and reuse the same screws and holes from the Furion. The holes for my Furion were somewhat oversized or stripped out so I ended up using some screw anchors to fill the hole and screw into to keep it snug and tight.
You camper lights may have to be turned on for the camera to get power. I have a 2020 Mallard and until I powered the lights, the camera wouldn't work. Other manufacturers may have wired their cable differently. Once it powered on the viewscreen automatically connected and found the camera. I didn't even have to pair it. The range from the back of my 30' camper to my dash in the pull vehicle is strong and video quality looked great.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I've only had this installed for around a month and the antenna connection on the camera is already corroding. Hopefully this doesn't impact the performance as time goes on. The other reason is the screen mount mechanism for the suction cup is designed poorly. It has a small 1/2" square washer that inserts into a grove on the back of the holder and then is supposed to tighten down but no matter what I do I cannot get it to stay tight. I ended up using a different suction cup mount with an adhesive backer to hold the screen.
This is still a good deal and a very good alternative for the Furion.

Easy to install and to operate
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2024The camera was easy to install and the instructions are fairly straightforward. It was paired to the monitor and worked right out of the box. However after shutting the monitor off the camera was not link. It took several attempts to pair the camera but after it connected there were no problems with the connectivity. We have been on vacation and traveled three hours to reach our destination. The systems for the most part worked great and the picture quality was what i had expected. There was only a couple of times that the system connectivity momentarily froze but the picture refreshed in just a couple seconds. On the trip home the camera seemed to operate much better. I was surprised to receive the following email from the seller.
"Message from seller Fookoo:

Best regards,

I responded to the email and mentioned my connectivity issue. I was impressed by the response back from the company offering to help me with the issue.
I have been very pleased with quality of the system and the customer service and would recommend the systems to other fellow campers.

Great budget friendly system option vs. Furrion for a camper
Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2026I purchased this system as a lower cost replacement option for my camper old furrion system. The installation was very simple and the 7” screen looks great. This is a great budget friendly system and everything was included in the box to make the installation very simple. Picture was clear but I started having a flickering issue between menu options on the screen soon after the installation. I contacted their customer service and they were very responsive and very helpful and they sent me a new monitor within days. Everything has been great since the new monitor has been installed. I would recommend this system to whoever is looking for a budget friendly option vs the more expensive Furrion option. Their customer service has been great!
