Works great

Simple and effective, easy install for a feature that my RV ‘should’ have come with from the factory. Highly recommend to ease the headache of winterizing.

I used this bypass kit on my tow behind RV to replace the old bypass that used three valves (plastic) and lots of 90* elbows and other plastis parts. One of the old valves blew a rubber o-ring. This new kit was simple and easy to install and use. Make sure you measure the length of hose you'll need between the new valves as mine was a smidge short and had to be stretched slightly. Also, one of the valve handles broke off during install but they turn so easily its not that big of a problem. All in all it's a good kit and works great. I would recommend this kit...

The old valves were corroded, one was stuck and the other one leaked through the handle seal when it was turned. The new ones fit and worked perfectly. They seem to be of better quality than the original ones.

The hose was the correct length.

Super easy install. Fits nice in tight spaces

Thisould be easy to install backwards as my water heater had male fittings and the male fitting on the valve must go towards the heater. I installed it at the other end of the feed lines and it worked fine. To install as illustrated you would need two double male and two double female brass or pvc fittings. The instructions are in tiny print I needed a magnifying glass to read. The valves are high quality and worked well.

I installed the water heater bypass and the winterize bypass off the pump. For the water heater bypass I made a new supply line since the one with the kit was a bit to long and I have the tools to make a perfect one. The first time I installed the bypass I used Teflon tape and I had some light leaking at the bottom of the valve, I removed the valve and started over this time I used rectorseal and blue monster Teflon tape now no leaks. There are three ports on the valve, port A goes into the water heater port B is for the bypass hose and port C which is labeled and the female port where the original fitting from water heater should fit. Then reconnect the supply lines. For the bypass off the pump I installed it hand tight and a new shurflo strainer. I have no leaks and it looks like it will work well this winter.

My new water heater doesn’t have a drain, I have to take it inside the house after winterizing. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS BYPASS KIT! DONT PUT ANTIFREEZE IN YOUR WATER HEATER!!! It will never have clean hot water again. You put this in then bypass to put antifreeze in it.

Everything you need to replace/install on your hot water tank. Didn't take more than half an hour. Would recommend.
