Good e-bike carrier.
Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2026We use this for our two e bikes that together weigh over 100 lbs. assembly is needed. It’s easier if you put it in your hitch first then assemble that way. Easy to load once you get your strap adjustments done for each bike. Sturdy hold and minimal sway going down the road. You can see your tail lights ok. This rack doesn’t have the automatic drop pull you have to pull a pin out to lower or raise it.

Top quality and stability for the money, tough to beat!
Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2026First off,
I have to say this is a GREAT hitch mount bike rack for our two e-bikes. The packaging was pretty darn good. There were no scuffs, no mars, no paint chips on any components (that are either powder coated or painted). And, speaking of that, the powder coating is a superb job. Very nicely done. Second, my advice for anyone that's ordered this unit is, after you've opened the box and inspected all the components and accounted for all the needed parts, take the main beam and insert it in your receiver hitch that you'll be carrying your bikes on or any other 2" receiver. Then insert the locking pin and tighten it down. That will enable a lot of stability when doing all the different parts of assembly.
From that point on, it's pretty darn self-explanatory on how things go together, regardless of some less than desirable instructions.
Third, assemble all the components with the appropriate nuts and bolts but don't tighten anything all the way, until ALL the components are in place. That way, you don't fight yourself with some tight and some loose. Now, at this point, I want to add that, I'm a stickler for "wobble" in any bike rack I've either built or bought. I HATE wobble. This rack, assembled and tightened as tight as is required, is pretty good, but could stand some slight improvement(s).
The rack, as any have seen and is advertised, pivots up for when there's no bikes on it and you'd prefer to carry it that way. But, the pivot joint, even when snugged up as tight as is required, is still too loose for my standards. Sooooo, I simply created two thin Kydex washers/shims that are 2" in diameter and have 5/8" holes. I then slid one of them between the main beam and the pivot where the mouting bolt goes through, and the other shim goes in between where the removable pin goes through. By adding those two shims, the stability of that rack PHENOMENALLY improved and the "wobble" was all but GONE!. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better, (in my opinion).
When it was all said and done, and tight, I installed one of our e-bikes. The rack is listed as able to carry 200 lbs. The wifes bike is a whopping 48 lbs. I cinched down both wheels and then secured the top with the swing arm and seat stem clamp. Wow! That's a darn stable bike for sure. One more thing, the supplied ramp is really, REALLY floppy inside it's carry part of the end of the main tube. It flip flops all over the place. My advice on that might be to wrap that section of the ramp that is inserted into that tube to take up space and make it a lot more stable while in transport. Just a suggestion. Other than that, I'm really really happy with this double e-bike rack. I've seen a racks for two ebikes that aren't nearly as nice or as stable for a lot more money. Pretty tough to beat this deal and get this kind of quality. I'd purchase another one in a heartbeat if needed.

Exceeded expectations
Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2025I read reviews for every purchase I make on Amazon. If an item is below four stars, I get very skeptical about the purchase and look for other options. If it’s above 4.3 I generally trust those reviews and it helps make my decision.
I need to get better and start writing reviews for exceptional product.
In reading the reviews for this product, I was very concerned about the comments of bolts and pieces not fitting together because they were not drilled properly. I’ve run into that issue before with other purchases. I have bought in the past and there is nothing more frustrating.
I was also concerned about commenting about the length of time about how long it took to put together. And the terrible directions.
I bought my rack and it arrived two days ago. Today I decided to put it together. Figuring it would take 2 to 3 hours.
When I got everything out of the box, I was shocked about how many pieces were already put together at the factory, making the total assembly look much easier than anticipated
Every single piece fit together perfectly with absolutely no adjustments. Every piece of material felt of good quality and exceeded my initial expectations.
The directions were 10 times better than I expected. Yes the writing was a little small and it could be improved, especially for us who have to wear readers… But the pictures were well descriptive, and easy to follow.
The only issue I had was, I mounted the tire brackets upside down on my initial set up and I had to go back and change them. But that was very easily done with four quick bolts. Again…100% my fault
Having a ratchet wrench or in my case of power drill with a socket was critical and cut my time in half.
In step two, I mounted the device into my hitch on the back of my truck and that made it much easier as it was off of the ground
I was able to mount my bike on my new rack an hour and 10 minutes after I started. And again that was with a mistake that cost me almost 10 minutes.
Very happy with it so far as I just rode down the road to test it.
So far, I would 100% recommend this item. I will see how it holds up as my 2E bikes are quite heavy.

TIE DOWN STRAPS & OTHER TIPS
Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2024I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived the next morning. Right on, Jeff! The packaging was inadequate, but the scratches were limited to the bottom of one aluminum bike cradle. All of the parts were made correctly and lined-up, unlike what other reviewers had to deal with so this one was probably not made of a Friday.
The rack is heavy duty and at 200lbs I can bounce up and down on it without flexing it. The pictorial instructions help and assembly was straightforward, but I've done a lot of mechanical work and have good tools. Using a "monkey wrench" as they suggest can get the job done but I recommend sockets and ratches or at least combination wrenches to help prevent scratching the paint, your knuckles and save time. It is not powder coated so be careful.
I started assembly by mounting it in the receiver to make it assembly easier and given its weight I didn't want to lift it and try to align the holes in the receiver. Some folks don't like that the receiver pin is actually a threaded bolt, but the heavy bolt holds it tightly against the receiver eliminating receiver wobble. You can't use a lockable pin so I'm using a cable to secure it to the truck. A pair of bolt cutters and a wrench is all that's needed to steal it but in Chicagoland thieves get bigger bucks for catalytic converters and trucks have big ones.
If you've got a narrower vehicle like a Subaru Outback the bikes are going to stick out well beyond the sides of the car. They even stick out beyond my full-sized pickup, but this may be an issue with any rack.
I had read reviews with complaints that the tie down straps don't tighten and thought that's probably a misunderstanding on the part of the owner. When I mounted the first bike I was disappointed and thought they were right. But if you look at the picture of the center post tie down you can see that the strap is inserted in a way that looks backwards--opposite of the orientation that the center post strap clamps came from the factory. When I flipped the clamps 180 the straps held tight. So the factory folks don't get it right.
It's better suited for fat tire bikes when it comes to securing the wheels. It works well enough on my Aventon Level.2's with 2.5" tires but I'm using the orange straps to help compensate for the inadequate rear tie-downs and to add an extra layer of safety on the front wheels. I had to bend the ramp clips to keep it from sliding off. The bikes are heavy and sit high so I carefully used the throttle to drive them up the ramp. I'm 6'2" but it's still challenging. Shorter folks may want to get assistance.
Overall, I'm satisfied with it for the price. I didn't want to spend more than twice as much to get a high-end Thule or Yakima. It got better reviews then them anyway.

Excellently Engineered; Great for Multiple Bike Styles; Saved my Truck in a Rear-End Collision
Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2025I recently purchased two new Aventon Level 3 step-through ebikes and knew I would need a new bike rack to transport them. After a great deal of research and comparison shopping, I landed on this Young Electric Hitch Mount Two-Bike Rack with Ramp (10104148). Numerous racks I looked at would handle the weight of our bikes and offered a ramp for easy loading/unloading, but the feature that made this rack jump to the top of the list was the pair of adjustable arm bars that can be easily moved into position to fasten to the bikes’ seat tubes. This accommodated my step-through bikes that don't have cross bars without forcing me into purchasing adapters as other top ebike racks require.
A “top brand” rack the local shop pitched was already twice the cost of the Young Electric rack and would have required purchasing crossbar adapters in addition to that, so I was immediately excited about the value of the Young Electric rack. Finding no contender that offered comparable features and reliable user feedback at the price I hit the “buy now” button.
The day we assembled the rack was the day we were alerted by our local shop that our new bikes were ready for pickup. I will say, the assembly instructions (and an accompanying overly-brief online video) are not the best. There were several places I had to watch the video to give me a better idea of what the instructions were attempting to convey, and even then there were some blind spots that just had to be reasoned out. Eventually, we got it put together and jetted off to get our bikes, but I’d say assembly time could have been reduced by ⅓ or more with better instructive material. Your mileage may vary.
The people who helped us load up at the local shop were really impressed with the rack, and i wouldn’t be surprised to hear they’re recommending it to others who purchase step-through bikes. Loading the bikes is a breeze and all the features that secure them in place are excellently engineered. We inadvertently took a road that was being resurfaced when we left the shop, and even with big bouncing bumps in my Jeep Gladiator, the bikes were perfectly secured.
We only got one ride in that first weekend, and unloading and loading the bikes by ourselves was a breeze. Knowing we’d want to take them out again soon, I folded the rack into its upright/stored position and left it on my vehicle during my work week. It really does fold and store nicely in a way that doesn’t make driving difficult, and it’s also easy to fold down to access the tailgate if I need to put something in the truck bed.
What I didn’t know, until a mere three days after assembling and installing the rack, is that the rack is STURDY. I was rear-ended in congested traffic by an SUV. The SUV’s front bumper cover was damaged, and I could tell the bike rack had been damaged, but my truck was absolutely unscathed. The bike rack took a hit that definitely would have damaged my vehicle and left me with nary a blemish, much less any damage that could have taken my vehicle out of commission.
The rack needed a little wrestling to fold and unfold after the accident, but it was theoretically still usable if I were comfortable putting my expensive bikes on a partially buckled bike rack that rode at a bit of an angle. Not wanting to take that chance, I reached out to Young Electric via their website and they were super friendly and willing to be of assistance as I went through the process with the driver of the other vehicle to replace my damaged property. During that process, I realized that only one part of the bike rack actually needed to be replaced (the part that actually slides into my truck’s hitch receiver — you can see the damage in the detail photo attached to this ), and Young Electric worked with me to order that one piece that needed replacing. Every other bit of the rack was in 100% functional condition.
With the possible exception of instructional material that could be improved, I couldn’t be happier with this bike rack. It is perfect for my needs, and that’s before I learned it could go toe-to-toe with an SUV and keep my car from taking any damage. I highly recommend this rack for those who want an all-around exceptional solution for easily and safely transporting their expensive ebikes.
Pros
Excellently engineered design that can accommodate bikes regardless of frame or wheel styles
Easy loading/unloading with the ramp and adjustable arm bars
STURDY product that can take abuse (while protecting the attached vehicle)
Excellent Customer Service from the folks at Young Electric
Cons
Instructions leave a little to be desired but ultimately get the job done if you are patient and thorough. I do recommend consulting the assembly demonstration video, as well.
Overall Review

Watch the VIDEO on assembling it first! The booklet is very good too.
Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2026DO Watch the VIDEO on assembling it! Well engineered bike rack. Weighs 62 pounds. Very sturdy. Comes with a very good instruction booklet with excellnt pictures, BUT WATCHING the VIDEO is a MUST! I sure wiish I wacthed it. It woud have helped me a lot, and would have saved me a LOT of time. Regret not watching the video BEFORE I put it together.
You do need some wrenches of your own to put it together. They are not supplied.
It functions very well for two bikes, even step trough bikes. I put two e-bikes (step troughs) on it. No problem.
At this time, I like it a lot. Just what I needed. No regrets, except not watchiing the video first. Know that It is 62 lbs.

Excellent e-bike rack.
Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2026Excellent bike rack. Very sturdy. Hold downs are perfect. Pay attention to the wheel straps. I added an anti-rattle hitch tightener for good measure. Fits my Specialized step-thru and my wife’s Lectric e-bikes. The ramp is awesome as my bike is heavy. Assembly was easy if you read the entire instructions first. Yea right. There will be a few surprises if you don’t. Very descent price. I researched other racks that are twice the price. Save your money peeps. I am very satisfied.

The Good The Bad and the CAUTION!
Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2026The Good Points
1. Sturdy 2 e-bike rack
2. Great Quality build.
3. Reasonably Priced I paid $266.99
4. The included detachable ramp makes it easier to load and unload your e-bike.
The Bad Points
1. Paper instructions were terrible
2. No tools included for assembly
3. I needed to buy a "metric" ratchet set with 19 ,22 and 24 mm sockets
4. Assembly was not easy and took way too long (approx 2 1/2 hours)
5. CAUTION: Young 2 e-bike rack has a 50" e-bike wheel base limitation so that means that most mountain bike or city cruiser e-bikes will not fit and attach safely with this model.
Recommendation to Young E-Bikes
Provide a step by step You Tube Video with easy to follow installation instructions specific to the model your customers are purchasing.

Reviewed in Canada on May 6, 2026This is a high quality top notch product. Instructions worked but not much detail. I would recommend to friends. Delivered in < 24 hours. Amazing for a 50 lb parcel. Fit my 2019 GMC Silverado AT4 with no mods to anything. Very sturdy. Fits my Moustache mountain e bike and a ralleigh e bike. A little tricky loading the second e bike to get around the handlebars on the first one. The clamping system is 100%. Well done design.

Melanie Melo5 out of 5 starsGreat bike rack for e-bikes
Reviewed in Canada on May 25, 2026Easy to assemble, use, and works as well as advertised. I have a heavy e-bike and the ramp made it so easy to load/unload without hurting myself. Great rack for the price would definitely buy again

Mikey D4 out of 5 starsGood quality bike rack, especially for bikes that have no cross bars.
Reviewed in Canada on April 21, 2026I am impressed with the quality of the bike rack. Everything fits like a glove! Unfortunately the manual lacks detail so just review the images closely and you really should have a helper. Not super complicated but a bit cumbersome.
I would also suggest using a ratchet set to assemble. Open box wrenches would make for a slow assembly process. All this being said it is a good quality bike rack. I have not used the carrier yet, to carry a regular 12 speed bike and an e-bike. I really like the posts that attach to the bike seat posts. Makes for sturdy and secure transport. One last thing. The 2 rear tie downs would not hold the straps. They slipped through. I reversed the direction of the clip. Works great now!
Now that I have had the rack for awhile a couple of things. A standard 2" secure lock pin does not fit in the receiver. They use different thread widths then is standard. That's a problem but I found, with the help of Amazon's Rufus AI that the MaxxHaul 50376 secure pin fits. The ramp slides into the rack body for storage but it's not a tight fit. It moves around more then I would like. I will wrap something around ramp shaft to provide a tighter fit.

Steve Hay5 out of 5 starsExcellent product.
Reviewed in Canada on May 28, 2026The rack works perfectly for our 2 ebikes.
The only thing I would change is the way it connects to my truck. They bolt is threaded. I drive a F250 with a 2 1/2 inch receiver. When you adapt down to a 2 inch getting the holes to line up is quite difficult.
