The Dulepax-RV Slide Out Awning Fabric Replacement is outstanding. I ordered a 200” piece and it was delivered in good time.

It did come in folded in a box but we left it out in the sun and it settled down some. The Dulepax-RV Slide Out Awning Fabric Replacement was easy to cut and install.

The only issue I have is it was missing instructions on which side was up. I did research online and found that the smooth dull side goes up and the rough side and stitching side goes down.

I did install myself with the help of my wife in approximately 20 minutes after all the prep work was done. The sun took almost all the folds out in a few hours. It is definitely thicker than the original. I highly recommend this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:

This fabric needed time in the sun spread out to remove creases from it being shipped folded into a small square. Very good price compared to others. Not an easy job to do solo but with wd40 and lots of patience it can be done. Fabric was durable, several time I thought it would tear but it didn’t. Cutting it down the fit length was easy with sharp scissors. Fabric stood up to big winds and rain in the first week. Unsure of its long term quality, I sold the RV.

I purchased this slide topper awning to replace the topper for my 2005 Four Winds Class C Motorhome. After viewing a few YouTube videos, I was convinced that I could do it myself and save big bucks. I had heard quotes of much as $1,000 for material and installation and I was able to get the materials for $66 and do it myself (with the help of my 51 year old daughter and 25 year old grandson). I am 82 years old am a stroke survivor so I pretty much supervised the installation. I was able to remove the old awning by myself with no problem. Installing the new one was a little more challenging. Even though I put wd40 on both slides it was still a chore to pull the awning on. That's where the grandson was helpful. By the way, when you have the awning off is a good time to spray the rubber seals with 3X Chemistry Seal Saver. You can order that on Amazon too. The most important place to spray is the part that attaches to the RV so that as the slide goes in and out, the seal go back and forth. Hope that makes sense.

Product came as described. Did notice the creases others have mentioned but this product is folded for storage and shipment. Open the package and grab some soft clamps and hang it with a bit of weight in the sun on a warm day to get them out. Or open it up and use a light head gun while holding tension until it cools but you can risk damaging it if you get it to hit. So you do what you feel the most comfortable but your at your own risk with the heat gun. I just layed it out in the sun to get the big ones out. I then used the old top to use as a guide and trimmed it to length. Slide the new one in and did my best to keep the material tight as I unrolled the tension from the bar. I then slide the slide out in and out to verify there were no issues. I'm now leaving the slide out open for a couple of days to allow more if the creases to even out. Overall I am pleased with it and the cost if the material is very competitive so I am happy and would recommend it.. and no I am no RV tech or a carpenter and I didn't screw it up lol...

I ordered this slide out awning replacement fabric for the two slide outs on my RV 5th wheel.

I came folded up 15 x 11 x 4 inches. In a clear strong protective package.

This material is 200 inches long and is enough to cover both slide outs.

It is 18 ply and should be as the existing covers.

I purchased white material to help keep my RV cooler from the sun.

The material looks like it is pretty decent.

I have not installed it yet because I woke up to 7 inches of snow this morning.

This will be the first install of slide out covers for me, but I have replaced a couple of awning covers and this looks like it will be a simpler.

It should be installed within a couple of weeks because that is when I'm heading out camping.

Really happy. Replaced both slide out canopies on our RV. Wasn’t sure what to expect (quality) but very happy, good quality, delivered quite quickly, needed to trim 10 inches off but that was easy with a Stanley knife. Highly recommended and so much cheaper than the usual RV supply companies.

La toile est facile à tailler pour s'adapter à la largeur de l'extension du VR. Le plus difficile pour moi fut d'enlever l'ancienne toile mais une fois cette étape réalisée l'installation de la nouvelle toile fut très facile. Les plis causé par l'emballage ont complètement disparus après l'installation.
