    Every camper needs one of these for their RV. Campsite electrical is not always trustworthy. IYKYK. This lets you know if all's good to start. It's waterproof and has a plastic cover where plugs go. We keep our camper plugged in while it's stored under our building and use it then too. The cost to replace heat/air, frig, or anything else in a camper is not cheap. Hopefully our camper is always safe from that with this surge protector. This is always set to work if power goes out for any reason. Our power went out in our house and caused our frig to go out. Don't want that in our camper. Well worth the price for the peace of mind we now have.

    Been using it for 2 years with no issues. When not camping it’s plugged into an adapter and to the house. The only issue I’ve had is rain getting in it and tripping the breaker. My fault, should have positioned and protected it better. But I blew it out with compressed air it works as good as new. Great value. Durable and fits 50amp receptacles perfectly. Accuracy of description confirmed. Very easy and simple to install.

    Works for my Induction Range

    I looked online for surge protectors for stoves and range and was only able to find this. My 40 Amp Bosch induction range uses a touch screen to control the oven settings and clock. We had a power outage during the Remembrance Day weekend in 2023 and it caused damage to our Bosch range with a power surge.

    We got the range fixed under our warranty and I attached it to this surge protector. We just happened to have another power outage a week after the range was fixed and this time our range was fine so I'm assuming this surge protector helped prevent damage to our range.

    We'll likely get a whole house surge protector installed now that I know they exist but we'll still use this to keep our expensive range from any power surges in the future.

    Many parks have unreliable power so it feels good to have this extra insurance to protect an RV against power surges as well as the indicator to let you know if the circuit you are plugged into is wired correctly. It has a very solid connection with my RV power cord. Be sure you have pushed your plug in all the way to have a secure connection.

    We're using it to protect the electric panel of our park model cottage. So far no issues. Unit gave an all clear to the power post and was relatively easy to install. Had some difficulty fitting the plug to the box due to the post box design. After that easy to install and protected from the elements.

    This is a very well made Surge Protector. It is well made and durable. I love that it shows you that your wiring has been done correctly. You don't want to plug your car into a plug that is wired incorrectly.

    It seemed a lot when ordering (under 100 bucks) but when I received it I was well worth it for the solid product it is.

    Well worth getting as you can pay that for a plug with an adapter with no Surge protection. Get this instead.
