Amazingly Well Made Power Station!
Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2025Great power station as the video can demonstrate (The video was all the 5 minutes plus but there was a limit on the amount I can upload so I had to cut some parts off*). In this example I was using the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 to cook a meal using a microwave. It was drawing around 1370~ watts for all of the 5 minutes. It got the job done flawlessly without any hiccups. When it started it was at 84% charge and when it needed it was at 72% so it used a total of 12% of battery for 5 minutes of usage with this amount of power draw. It’s great and more than reasonable. The weight and portability is great! Being lightweight is a big plus! I’ve used this with my computer and monitor drawing around 400 watts and it lasts around 3 hours. Also used to charge my tools batteries, phones and use tower fans during these extreme heat! I love that you can control everything from the Jackery app with ease and you can modify how fast you want to recharge it. Giving you the option to extend your batteries lifetime. I definitely recommend this!

Reliable, powerful and Manages Battery Life Very Well
Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2025To start with, I love my Jackery Explorer 300 and took a chance on the Explorer 1000 and not disappointed.
This is copy of my review for DJI Portable Power Station 1000 Vs the Jackery Explorer 1000. I hope to help others when comparing these two popular power stations that are both known for reliability. In the end for a quick read, the Jackery Explorer out performed the DJI Portable Power Station by quite a bit. Great job Jackery! Here is my slightly edited review:
I purchased the DJI Power 1,000 Portable Power Station for emegencies as well as camping and such. I do own a Jackery Explorer 300 as well as a Jackery Exporer 1000. Today I tested the Jackery Explorer 1000 (1500W rating) as well as the DJI Power 1000 (2200W rating). I've had the Jackery 1000 for maybe a month and the DJI for about 1 week and both were new up to today and charged to 100% for the first time for this test. I connected each to a 1000W heater (Presto Heat Dish) which is a reflective type heater with no fan/blower, just a heating element reflected off what looks like a satellite dish.
I put the heater at highest setting and it was rated at about 1045-1047 watt output according to both battery power stations. I tried to run them both for ONE hour and see what percentage of the battery power stations was left after the hour.
The Jackery Exporer 1000 had 40% battery life after 1 one hour which was good, so I first thought. After trying the DJI 1000, the Jackery was apparently very good. The Jackery never really got too warm and was super quiet.
The DJI Power 1000 could not make it to one hour. I shut it down after 45 minutes as it only had 7% battery life left. I never run them to zero and 7% was much lower than I like to run them to, but wanted to milk this until at least 45 minutes, which I did. The fan area near the power switch area of the DJI was pretty warm and the other side fan area was cool, near the outlets. The DJI also had noticeable fan noise, but it was just noticeable and not loud. I also noticed after getting the DJI Power 1000 that it didn't have the cigarette lighter receptacle (12V DC) like the Jackery did, which I overlooked.
The Jackery is about 2/3 the weight of the DJI and has a swing handle across the top like most smaller power stations do. The DJI had two fixed grips, one on each side which seem more sturdy, but not as convenient to carry around.
I don't usually rate and review two named items in a review but both are great names with reliabilty and known quality. I'm just sad to say that the DJI did not live up to my expectations and relly disappointed. Hopefully they will get the battery management taken care of in future models. With the DJI rated another 700 watts than the Jackery, I guess I expected more. If I were to put a 2200 watt device on the DJI Power 1000, I'm not sure it would last a half hour.
I would recommend the Jackery Exporer 1000 very easily after my test. jackery is quiet, reliable and the energy used is very well managed within the system.

Great power station
Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2026What a great power station!
This is a great portable size and worked very well in our RV for night time use. We were able to run our Starlink, an iPad and charge multiple phones overnight without any issues.
Charge time takes on the power station took about an hour and 45 minutes to fully charge but got us about 8 hours of charge time throughout the night. This will vary depending on your output.
The button functions on the front are very easy to use as you can toggle both the usb side and the power plug side. The display shows how much time you have left and the auto off feature works well when needed.
Overall this is a great product and I am glad to have purchased this unit!

Quick Charging unit with a large Inverter for power outages
Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2025I purchased the Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 during the Early Black Friday Discount period in November 2025 to help during the expected power outages this Winter. The biggest reason for this purchase is my great experience with the other Jackery Explorers that my family have been using for the past five years. All of my other units are still working as expected and are still at peak performance. Last year we had some rotating blackouts and I wanted to add another quick charging unit to my mix. I like the Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 enough that this is my second E1000 V2. I purchased the 1st one last spring before the Summer storms from Jackery.
The 1500 Watt inverter is large enough to power almost all of your kitchen counter equipment and the light weight will let you position the E1000 V2 wherever you need it. I like multiple units as this requires fewer extension cords and you can be solar charging some while using others. The E1000 V2 is just the right size for me as it has light weight, fast charging and enough battery size to complete most operations. You can easily double the battery capacity if needed by connecting a 12 Volt 100AH LiFePO4 battery to the Solar Input. The 12 Volt battery will give you 100 watts of charge to extend the battery run time. You can use this if Solar is not available or on cloudy days. You will need to recharge the Battery with a separate charger after use.
One of the reasons that I chose the Jackery Explorer line is that they are reliable self contained units and do not require other equipment to operate. Some of the competition requires smart phones with special applications to use all of the features. If you have a wide area power outage it is better to have each piece of your emergency equipment able to stand alone. It is somewhat discouraging to see some of the new Jackery units requiring a smart phone for some of their features.
If you live in a area where power interruptions happen, then you will find that a Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 will just make things a lot better for your family.
Keep the charge topped off every 3 months and it will be ready when you need it.
Note the E1000 V2 will not except a charge if the display reads 100% even after setting for enough time for the internal self discharge to drop the charge below 100%.

Reliable Beast of a Power Station – My New Camping & Emergency MVP!
Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2026I picked up the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 Portable Power Station for a mix of weekend camping trips, powering lights for night time sports and peace-of-mind backup power at home, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. This thing is compact, surprisingly lightweight, and seriously capable.
The build quality feels premium and tough. The app is simple and actually useful for monitoring power draw and battery levels. I especially appreciate the built-in LED light for nighttime use and the old-school 12V car port that most newer units have ditched.

Exactly what I hoped for
Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2026Tons of power. Charges quickly at home. I bought a different brand solar panel because it was so much cheaper and it works great. It's heavy but the box itself is tight, which makes it easier to carry. I had another brand years ago with a bulkier package and holding it out another couple degrees from my side made it hurt to carry faster. All the plugs work perfectly so far - I appreciate the high wattage Type C port. The phone app worked, but I don't particularly use it. I really like being able to see the draw on the display. The display is easy to read. Excellent product.

First Impressions
Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2025I just received my new Jackery Explorer 1000. I researched many different manufactures equivalents. Read hundreds of reviews and read a lot of "expert" on line opinions. Significantly influenced by Amazon's Prime days specials and price point, I finally pulled the trigger on this unit. These will be my initial thoughts VERY early in ownership.
Shipping: Wanted to take it on an upcoming vacation, the advertised arrival was really going to be close. I'm happy to report it arrived on the first day of the advertised date span! 5 days total, nice!
Boxing: Very good, very protected, Box in a box, not a scratch, Excellent!
First Impression: This thing looks really good (almost pretty?), feels very solid, albeit a bit heavy.
Manual: OK, small print, covers the basics
Registration: Bad, really bad. There is a web site referenced in the manual that I could not get to work. Finally searched "Jackery" and after clicking around for about 30 minutes I stumbled across a reference to registration. Easy from there? Nope! After much trial & error, I finally got it registered. Had it not been for the free extended warrantee with registration, I would have given up.
Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / App: I have two Wi-Fi channels in my home with boosters, the whole 9 yards. (My smart TV, 4 rooms away, behind closed doors, out in the garage, has no problem connecting. My security cameras, even farther away, no problem. Jackery, big problem, finally gave up. Bluetooth, better results, but very slow. Downloading the App to my iPhone was not a big deal and I was able to connect to the unit. I don't see me needing to turn the light on/off through my phone much. Same with turning the various connection points on/off. Its really slow to react to doing those things, kind of annoying actually. Not sure why you would need to turn on the unit screen on when you see it right there on your phone? What I do see as a good thing is being able use is using you phone to see things like Charging level %, Input Watts, Output Watts and unit temperature.
Charging: Came with 31% charge. Used the included power cord and was able to get the unit to 100% in little over an hour. At first the input read 799 watts as charging. The charging wattage slowly dropped as it got closer to full charge.
What's in the box: The unit itself, the power cord (about 6' 14awg) and the manual. No other wires or accessories.
These are only my initial experiences, for now and with the exception of the connectivity & App issues, I'm liking this power station.
Performance update:
After charging to 100%, I used the 12v car type plug to connect my 35 qt Alpicool cooler/freezer. Either or both compartments can cool or freeze, so to test the Jackery, I set both side to 0 degrees:
Monday 3:00pm started with 100% charge, cooler drawing about 33 watts
3:30pm 99% , both sides in the 20 degree range, cooler drawing 30-33 watts
4:30pm 97%, both sides around -1 to +4 degrees, cooler drawing 26-29 watts
Tuesday 6:00am 68%, both sides around -1 to +4 degrees, cooler drawing 26-29 watts
3:00pm 49%, temp still good, still drawing in the 26-29 watt range
as the cooler reaches its set temp the unit cycles off so its not using any power
Wednesday 6:00am 18% same temp range, same draw range.
I am very satisfied with the performance of my Jackery. Under normal conditions I would not set the cooler to 0 degrees on both sides. I easily got 39 hours run time, had I let it go, I maybe could have pushed 48 hrs run time before totally exhausting the battery. My goal with the cooler and the Jackery was to make it through a double header game watching my grandson, so good to go there! Originally was going to get something in the 500w range, but for the price...................
Side Note: Alpicool dual compartment 12v cooler, wow! I am impressed with this cooler. To maintain 0 degrees and only pull 26-29 watts! How is that even possible? I have light bulbs that use more power than that!

Ecoflow Delta 2 vs Jackery Explorer 1000 v2
Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2024Many of you are probably like me having a tough time deciding between Delta 2 or Explorer 1000v2. The 2 are almost identical in all aspects. Both Ecoflow and Jackery are good brands, and you can expect good build quality and reliability. Seems that the Explorer is always priced at $50 below the Delta 2. At the end, I picked the Explorer. The rationale was simple. I could not find any justification to spend $50 more for the Delta 2. On Black Friday, net price for Explorer was $349, which was a no brainer. For reference I paid $400 for the Ecoflow River 2 Pro 8 months ago.
I use these power stations primarily during power outage. If you run them 24/7, your buying decision may be different. Expandability is not a factor for me (the add-on batteries are never cheap anyway), nor is solar charging. I deploy the power stations distributively wherever power is needed, rather than building them into a centralized power source.
Here are the main differences between the Explorer and the Delta 2 that I considered.
- The Explorer is $50 cheaper ($349 vs $399 on Black Friday)
- The Explorer has a good LED lamp which is handy during power outage.
- The Explorer has bigger capacity (1070Wh vs 1024)
- The Explorer is 3 lbs lighter. To me, anything over 25lb is only marginally portable.
- The Explorer lacks 12vdc barrel plug ports which Ecoflow has. You will need an adapter to draw 12vdc from the Explorer's cigarette socket.
- The solar port on the Explorer not as common as that on the Delta 2.
- The AC sockets are upfront on Explorer whereas Delta's are in the back. I prefer them to be upfront. I see no advantage of them in the back, except maybe it looks neater to have the cables in the back if you have a semi-permanent installation. Definitely better to have them upfront for emergency use.
On charging.
When I first got my Explorer, it was 80% charged. And it seemed stuck at a very slow charging rate of about 300W. Installing the mobile app and selecting the "emergency boost mode" made no difference while selecting the slower quiet mode actually made it charge faster. I thought I had a defective unit for sure. But after draining the battery, the battery then charged between 600 to 800W most of the time at the default fast mode until near the top-off stage. Hitting the boost mode did take it up to 1000W level. Even quiet mode got over 300W. I am convinced that the unit can be fully charged using the default fast mode in well under 2 hours, and that is good enough for me. Even at the default fast mode, it was much quieter than my Ecoflow River 2 pro. The quiet mode does bring down the noise to an unobtrusive level.
The inverter on the Explorer seems excellent. The ac output was very steady at 120V, never dropping below 119V on 100W draw.
Somehow the Explorer feels less beefy and solid than the Ecoflow, perhaps because of its hinged handle? It is nonetheless rugged enough that I have no concern.
At the end, I got $50(+tax) more in my pocket. It's hard to argue with that.
