I have 2 different diesel heaters. This one and a different brand. This one knocks my other one out of the water by far. Very efficient and produces a ton of heat. We use it for our dog house and it’s great.

Works great so far ! Didn’t start the first time, but once the fuel got primed , started up on second try.

So just start it twice the first time you use it and it’s great!

This would be 5 stars if it worked as designed, and 4 if I could get helpful and productive customer service. But since I cant get any resolution to my problem, it's 1 star, zero if that was an option

This is the second Vevor product I have purchased, and I've had problems with both, and the customer service is completely and utterly worthless.

The heater works, in that it does heat, actually very well for the fuel consumption. Not sure where others are getting so many error codes. I've only gotten 2, one when it ran out of fuel, and the other when I put a duct extension on, and it didn't like that the outlet temp got too hot - and shut down safely, as engineered. If you want to extend the heat outlet, transition from 3" to 4" after the initial connection to the heater, or use a smooth, 100% metal, 3" duct.

My primary issue is the heater won't shut down when it reaches setpoint. It will slow down, but not stop heating. I have read others say they had a similar issue, and after much unproductive back-and-forth with Vevor, have gotten new control boards. Not sure if that fixed the issue or not.

I have been texting/messaging back and forth with VEVOR for well over a month, sent in a nearly 2-minute video clearly showing the problem. They finally agreed to send a new display (sort of), I asked if that contained the PID (or whatever system they use to manage calls for heat and stop heat), and I then got a follow-up message saying the previous email was wrong and the operation was normal. It's not. No reason to have a thermostat if it just keeps heating, even if it's low heat output. These heaters are intended for small spaces, and are supposed to be automatically controlled when equipped with a thermostat. This particular heater does not do that.

I am very happy with the heat and fuel usage. For others that have complained about the noise, smoke, the endless errors, they're either shilled reviews, or they've tried to modify it, not followed instructions, or used bad/wrong fuel. These are basic systems, and they generally all work pretty well (I believe there's only one or two actual manufacturers of the primary burner. They are put in different color/size cases, and they might have a slightly different controller with additional features, but the remainder of it is identical). You can hear the fan and the pump, but that's expected in a unit that produces this much heat and doesn't need an HVAC professional to install it. It does need a decent power supply (battery or transformer), but mostly for startup. Once it's running, it sips fuel and power.

There is wisp of diesel smoke out of the exhaust at startup, maybe 10 seconds (you MUST vent to outside the space your heating), and then it's pretty odor free.

For context, this heater is in an off-grid cabin, with a 12v power source running off 110v (solar), at an altitude of 7,200 ft. In general it works great if I need quick heat at the press of a button.

The customer service has been the worst, though, as in lots of dodging, and mostly a lot of misunderstanding. I will now readily pay more for a product if I know I'll get help when I need it. The Chinese to English translation is bad enough, but the lack of understanding is overwhelming. No more Vevor products, for me.

Very easy to install and use. If you've ever driven OTR in winter then you will understand this thing. The instructions suck at best but there are plenty of videos online to show you how to use it. Only burn clean diesel and you can burn red if you know you wont get caught. One thing and I haven't come to it is servicing. As a diesel tech, these things need to be cleaned and you will need a gasket kit. This all depends on how much you use it but if it starts putting out less heat but burning the same amount of fuel, it might need a servicing, not hard but you have to remove it and disassemble it. Its a webasto clone so the gasket kit for webasto should work- let you know. Once installed and the tank filled, the first and most important is to prime it or it wont start. On the remote hold the two arrows down until it starts clicking then let go it will shut off when its primed. Turn the unit on and go. In about 10 minutes its gonna start getting hot and it heats up my camper in almost no time. Most important is to make sure the exhaust is properly vented outside and videos on you tube will show you how. My intake air is taken from inside the camper so make sure you have a way to supply it or it will start to burn bad and not make any heat, then you will need to do an early service. Some people said they could smell the exhaust, i smelled nothing, usually its exhaust coming in from a window. I do recommend a decent co2 alarm as a safety measure when used indoors. Some people will plumb it into the vehicle diesel tank but im not sure if the pump can pull fuel from that distance so for now im using the onboard tank, just pay attention and dont run it much below the warning level or you may have to re prime it the next time using it

I have owned a variety of Vevor items. They make a wide variety of items for garage mechanic use. This diesel heater works great. East to install and easy to operate. It’s a great value and has been dependable. I run it a lot. If it’s 20 degrees out side, I can fire it up in my non-insulated 20x24 garage and get it up to 50-50. If I run my salamander for a few minutes and heat the floors, it will hold at 65 throughout the day. I am sure I could do some things to increase its efficiency and it would be beyond amazing if I had literally any insulation at all in my garage. That will be my spring time project. I get around 10 hrs on max setting and if it’s topped off and running on 7 out of ten, I can get almost 16hrs. I trust Vevor products. I am a small engine mechanic by trade and fix literally anything for anyone. It’s just a part of who I am. I do a lot of diagnoses on evap systems in cars and Vevor has some great tools out to help with all these things and they always have a great price. They have a OBDII scan tool that utilizes the same software as a much bigger company in a super simple setup. I keep it in the glove box and can check/clear codes as well as watch live data or perform bi-directional options such as seal the evap system to check for leaks. Vevor deserves a good hard look when your looking for tools for the garage or shop. I always figure I will buy there tools and if I wear it out, it proves my proof of concept and justification of moving up the tool grade ladder. I still have tons of Vevor tools, but not because of lack of use, but because it’s good quality stuff.

I like these heaters, I've bought a couple, one kept my rv warm last winter. I mounted it outside and ran 3 inch flu pipe inside. Worked great down to a 0 degrees f. Another one in my garage works great too.

This is intended to heat my 1400 square foot workshop. Yes, I know it isn't intended for that large of space, but I just want it warm enough to feel my fingers and not have tools freeze to my hands (I have had that happen before). My other option is a salamander type heater, with is inefficient and extremely loud. I'd seen a lot of reviews online complaining about these being loud. The pump could be heard ticking while the heater was warming up but it was quiet enough to be background noise. Once the heater was up to temperature on its highest setting, the pump was inaudible and the blower was about as loud as a box fan on low or medium setting. I was using it outdoors at 5F. I did notice that the exhaust gas was quite hot, so efficiency can be improved. I intend to use a modified electric radiator heater as part of the exhaust circuit to recover most of this lost heat (as seen in several YouTube videos) before ducting it outside my shop. Also as seen on YouTube, I plan to used a 50/50 mix of diesel fuel and used motor oil (ran through a filter first) later on when I get more projects out of the way.

Used in a garage 6m x 3m with 3 external walls/doors, From the off, started first time and has consistently started first time with no issues. The remote is used for on/off and adjusting heat output. Warms the garage to a very comfortable temperature. This model does not come with bluetooth, which is a shame.
