The Camco product is better built, more complete, and more functional than any other poop tote out there...and it's cheaper than them...go figure.

I have had a unit from Thet... and, though well made, it was incredibly poorly designed and was missing a key component (the drain valve for the tote). Using it, even after buying the component to build the missing valve, was a major PITA due to the poor design.

Not only does the Camco come with everything you need to use it right away, it's design is well thought out and allows you to easily use the tote in the real world.

For seasoned citizens like myself, I strongly suggest the units like this one with the front wheels as it seriously reduces the strain when pulling the cart to your tow vehicle.

I'm new at having to empty the back water tank into a portable tank for disposal. I've seen it done, helped do it, but never done it by myself. I wanted a tank I couldn't overflow and, as my camper tank is 34 gallons, this 36 gallon tank is perfect. I'm so glad I spent the extra and got the 4 wheel model. There isn't room behind my camper to fit my golf cart so, I have to pull it by hand to the cart hitch. 34 gallons is darn heavy. So glad I don't have to pick up a tank to roll it on two wheels. This could not have been easier. It rolls easily on ruff grass terrain. Clean up is easy what with the clear elbows, and spray nozzle with anti backflow. The 3' hose is perfect. After dumping the camper tank, I washed the hose out with the gray water tank. It even comes with the connector to hook the portable tank to the clean out of my septic tank. The built in gate valve makes dumping the tank easy and very easy to control. Then use a garden hose to spray the inside of the tank and hose out. The clear elbow let's you see when the water runs clear. Didn't spill a drop. I just connect the hose ends together to keep everything contained and clean when done. Couldn't be happier with this setup. Great product!

Have you ever had one of those items you really wanted but just didn’t want to pay the price they are asking for it? This was exactly that for me. I had a 2 wheel version ($100) by another company for 15 years. It worked and was holding up well, but when full it was so heavy I could hardly move it. So I wanted one with 4 wheels. Out of all the reviews and research I did. Even this one was questionable. So many videos of new tanks with leaks.

It is a great tank. I can move it a lot easier than the other one I had. I like the hook to hang it on my ladder. I haven’t had any leaks. 36 gallons works out well. We can usually drain the shower tank and the kitchen sink in one run if we dump soon enough or make 2 runs if we want to wait. I like the dump valve locations. As far as options go for black water/grey water tanks it is a good tank.

But let’s get real here. For what this is, it cost way too much. I want to cut it some slack because it is built in the U.S.A. But there a few things I just can’t get passed for the money I spent on this thing. First thing is, the front wheels. They are too close together so that takes away from the stability when trying to pull it around by hand on uneven terrain. It is doable but not exactly easy with 36 gallons of water in it. Once you get up on the road it is not bad.

Second, it is obvious when they added the design for the hook to hang it on the ladder they didn’t even bother to move the groves for the straps to the other side of the tank. They are now on the inside close to the ladder. They do nothing to hold the straps in place. Because of the shape of the tank, it is hard to strap to the ladder. Once again doable but not easy. I added pool noodles to the ladder rungs and this helped.

Third thing, is trying to figure out what to do with the bar and wheels. First time, I took the bar off and put it in the storage hold. Second time, I Decided to put a strap on it and hold it down to the tank. I just know I don’t want this steal bar swinging around back there and hitting someone else’s vehicle.

Fourth, It is very awkward to hang on the ladder. There is no place to grab the tank, and you have to be careful if don’t take the steal bar off, it does not smack you in the head while you are trying to get the tank overhead to hang it on the ladder.

Only time will tell how well this tank holds up. Camping for a week without some way to haul off shower water would mean we have to use the public restrooms for at least showers. We can’t get more than 2 days before the tank is full. So being able to dump every 2 days is nice. It is a good tank but I think for the money it could be designed better.

Every Christmas for two weeks We camp at a state park that does not have sewer hookups. In the past we have washed dishes in a plastic tub in order to conserved water to not fill our grey tank, then we have unhooked a couple of times to go empty the tanks. Well this year we decided to buy a portable tank. It is very easy to use. The only problem is that the connections on the 3’ hose provided do not seal and leak. I will have to report that and request a replacement. The wheels roll easily on the dirt road. We bought the “bobber” piece that lets you know the tank is full. I think that is an important addition.

Ça me semble un très bon produit robuste, pas encore utilisé. Faut savoir que le bac vide pèse 51 livres. Quand il est plein ça doit être très lourd à bouger alors la poignée sera utile pour ne pas avoir à le soulever. À la livraison la boite d'emballage était pas mal magannée, Il manquait les vis et la tige pour la poignée et aussi le tuyau de 3 pieds était déchiré. J'ai communiqué avec la compagnie Camco et aussitôt l'employée du service à la clientèle m'a fait parvenir les items manquant et le nouveau tuyau de 3 pieds. J'ai eu un très bon service avec Camco je suis satisfaite.

Worth the money! Easy to use, set up, and empty. Especially with the side drain. The wheels are oversized and great on uneven, gravel roads! Very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what every camper needs. Comes complete with hoses and fittings, extra on other units. Practical size, best not to be overfilling these items apart from content weight. Connects to hitch for easy transfer. Won't regret buying this item.
